Looking at the pair, they both seem to be what's presented immediately "out-of-the-box" - Which may suggest that Takara's version is far less dependent on stickers than compared to that of Hasbro's...

We'll see when my Takara iteration arrives early next month.

I think both versions have their different strengths. Overall I prefer the Hasbro version as it has more blacks to break up all that white (especially on the helipad). But the TakTOM version has better highlights/definitions (and aren't as sticker-reliant). TakTOM Metroplex's box looks bigger too; so I suspect that Metroplex will actually come fully assembled as opposed to Hasbro Metroplex who comes packaged as an amputee. The colours on TakTOM Metroplex's guns are superior, hands down. I still can't believe Hasbro put an orange barrel tip on Metroplex's gun... that's just plain stupid.

It'll be interesting to see if TakTOM Metroplex's voice will be in English or Japanese. I reckon it'll be in English as the FoC game in Japan is in English w/ Japanese subtitles.

That's a very interesting thought, if it turns out that's the case I might be swayed to get the Takara version after all.

I get anyone which is cheaper, still leaning on Hasbro version.

Aside from the helipad, the Japanese one is my clear choice for robot mode, however if I was displaying in either battle or city mode then Hasbro all the way (white legs are not that nice)
