Transformers questions by newbies, and not-so-newbies

i imagine this might be a bit controversial but for someone who's never read a comic if you had to pick a transformers comic series to start reading ( preferably one readily available on the internet) which would you suggest

These days I'd start with IDW's More Than Meets The Eye by James Roberts. So far there are ten issues and an annual.
