    Default A Prime problem?

What's the short way to refer to the TV and toyline "Transformers Prime"?

I don't think there's anything wrong with a full word over an abbreviation (as in like "Movie Bonecrusher" vs "ROTF Skids", or Generations Thundercracker vs GEN Wheeljack) but when the line's name is a character's name I think that posting acquisitions or sightings and always saying Prime will look weird and a bit confusing.

    I found Prime Bulkhead
Anyone know where I can find a Prime Optimus Prime?
At Target I found Prime Arcee and Cliffjumper
Have any other news boards or fan sites finding a solution?

Should we go about "TFP" or an all caps "PRIME", or is "Prime" not a problem at all?

Did you come up with this question due to this comic?

Cos yeah, it makes a lot of sense.

I refer to it as TFPrime in my posts for news and info (and on my own listings).

I initially started with TF:Prime, but some situations would automatically convert the : and P into a .... so had to change that.

But yes, it is really annoying series name, especially when searching ebay. (and we can expect this series to be running for a minimum of 3-4 years now, so have to thank Hasbro for giving us a series title that makes no sense or relevance to the series itself)

No hadn't seen this comic but it's a good illustration.

Like Griffin I found searching ebay (for a Bumblebee figure) to be a pain (since so much movie merchandise is sold with the words Optimus Prime and Bumblebee).

I generally write it as TF:Prime. I just like having the little : thing in there to separate them.

It is seriously the worst to search eBay for, I feel smashing my head into a brick wall would be more productive.

At least the First Edition figures, some are being listed with that title, making those easier to find... but once the series is released next March, it's gonna be a nightmare doing a search without having all toys with Prime in the name showing up, or all toys of just the character name being searched.

I'd say in Typing I'm moving towards the TFPrime label, but in spoken Word because the inflection can be clearer I'll probably stick to Prime.

    What about just TFP?

    TFP Prime
    TFP Bulkhead
    TFP Arcee

    Doesn't look so bad.

That works, sort of like how I've seen TF:A for Animated.
