Am I the only one who prefers the flat yellow as seen in the cartoon to this new gold plastic?

No. I'm not at all thrilled by this reissue and prefer the look of the original yellow. But I'm weird that way - if they'd entirely changed Predaking's colours to fluorescent green, cyan and magenta then I'd be all over it. Merely turn the yellow gold and I'm all... meh.

So what you're saying is that you want to see Predaking done in AM Thundercracker's colours?

I want every Transformer done in Action Master Thundercracker colours.

(I would assume a 2010 Transformer would have the gold plastic designed with avoiding GPS.)

The gold Predaking compared to the regular yellow Predaking, is like the JP Animated shiny toys compared to the regular anime coloured Hasbro Animated - people prefer both for different reasons. I like the JP Animated toys because they are pretty, and like the Hasbro ones because they are cartoon accurate. The same goes for the Predacons for me, as the combined mode deserves to look regal.

Amazon Japan have added heaps of pics, which have been mirrored at Seibertron.

Ah, no, I would never buy Drift. But I would buy any Transformer in Action Master Thundercracker colours. So you see, Kup, it's quite simple, if they happened to release Drift in Action Master Thundercracker colours then I would simply... um... I would just... er...

No, but if I didn't have the Takara reissue I'd wouldn't turn this release down because of the colour.
