Wow, thats really low... I thought it would have been better than that. Surprising people still bother I guess.

When you look at it like that, sure. But I still don't feel I should pay everytime I want to play it. Just my opinion. That's why I steer clear of those kind of games.

Well, I have confirmation that JB Hi-fi will be offering the Kollector's Edition too, at $127!
Also, JB Hi-fi will be selling the standard edition of Duke Nukem Forever for $89.

I didn't realise so many people still buy games at retail.

I'll be getting my Duke on for $44 inc. shipping (PC ver) from good ol' Oz Game Shop. They'll probably be one of the cheapest place to get the BoS edition too (their site says "We're currently waiting for price information on this item").

That's a pretty damn good price, though having a look at their site - It would seem that whilst they're looking to get the BoS Edition for both PS3 & Xbox360, there is no mention of the BoS Edition for PC.

Interesting to read they're based in the UK too and like BookDepository.co.uk, they've got free shipping to AU and NZ!
One would have to take into account the transit time then, apparently 4-12 working days.

Certainly worth consideration though, my Brother wont be happy about it.

If I buy a game from that shop (or other online Euro retailers) I assume I get the Euro edition right? Is downloadable content from the local Playstation store compatible with copies of a game purchased from Europe?

(I'm looking at Marvel vs Capcom 3 and keeping in mind rumours of additional characters as Downloadable content down the track)

I had a copy of Dead Space 2 (360) shipped to me on Monday, I'll let you know how long it takes to arrive! I've read some pretty positive things about them on various forums so hopefully they're a keeper.

Paul, I'll let you know what region Dead Space 2 is. I'm assuming (praying) it's the PAL version rather than the Asian region-free copy and if that's the case, I think MvC3 should be a safe bet. No idea regarding the DLC, although I'd be surprised if a Euro PAL game didn't allow content to be downloaded onto an Australian PAL 360/PS3. Is anyone able to clear this up?

Cheers dude, I'll be very curious to see how swift their service is, I know though that Royal Air Mail does indeed tend to be quite quick - Considering the distance.

Well, it stands to reason that if it is on PS3 and is PAL then one shouldn't have any problems because PS3s aren't region coded whereas with an Xbox360, they are region coded so one would have to ensure that it is an Australian version - if using an un-modded Australian Xbox360 that is.

Indeed, however, is there any difference between PAL regions when it comes to DLC or is it all the same? Further to this, if Paul buys a UK copy of MvC3 on 360 or PS3, will he be able to play Australians or only people from the UK? Questions, questions...

As far as I can tell from a bit of 'net research is that there are region locks, but that Europe/Australia seem to be compatible because of PALness, but the US and some Asian regions aren't because they use NTSC, (but the two NTSC regions are comptible with each other)

One site did however mention that the UK version of Uncharted 2 did have downloadable content on the UK store that couldn't be accessed in Aus.

There's a local store in Melbourne that imports from the UK and they seem to be offering the same price as OzGameShop so I might go to them. Saves me the shipping time and I can check what numbers are on the back for the region.
