The SIM card was thrown in the bin on the 15th of June after I let Vodafone know that they could deactivate the SIM card associated with the mobile number [number].
As SIM cards are one use devices, it was turned into a useless piece of plastic. Even if it could be found at the landfill you would not be able to use it again as a SIM card.
[Co-Worker] has the contacts required with Vodafone in order to put [number] on a new SIM card, and is the correct procedure in transferring a number between persons.
You are also incorrect in your statement that the SIM card belongs to [company] they actually belong to the Tele-Communications provider which in this case is Vodafone.
Please check your facts before sending emails like this again.
