    Default Toyfair 2012 display pics

So, pics of new stuff up on TFW2005 and tformers.com.
New WFC Generations pics, heaps of new Prime pics, etc. etc.

A lot of it looks pretty tasty.

The colors on FOC Bruticus look horrible though. I hope it's just the photo but I doubt it.

Everything else looks pretty good but Prime could be better.

Better pics of all figures are needed to cement opinion but although I am not blown away, I am satisfied that more FOC/Generation figures are on the agenda.

Very very underwhelmed, especially by the FOC stuff and the Prime Voyagers (I'm not using whatever moronic name they've been given).

Looks like being a third party year for me.
I'm really just here for the free food and open bar.

    American Toyfair 2012
Compilation of info from the three main fansites.

Hasbro America not only allowed fansites to attend their media event, they also allowed them to photograph their product displays for their news-sites.

Now to see if Hasbro Australia are allowed to give us access to their Toyfair display this year (the last two years have had the American branch not allow it, requiring a lot of arm-twisting on my part to gain limited access).

(info from within each of these groups of links to be posted in a separate posting)

Hmm not as cool as the last time we got a Generations reveal, but not too bad. At least the line continues as I assumed it would. Other stuff doesn't really do it for me, bar a few of the Cyberverse toys.

And the big one for me..... Shockwave! Hmmmm going to have to need a better look at it, but It's at least a pass.

    Still want Trailbreaker though

There was some fairly awesome stuff revealed IMO; the Bruticus prototype was screaming G2 in that mock up paint scheme and looked quite a bit better than initial pics that we'd seen.

FoC: Prime and Jazz are both intriguing but each has something that feels slightly off to me, namely, Jazz's Blue colouring where it should be Black and Prime's oddly pinched shoulders.
Shockwave looks absolutely amazing and is going to be in hot demand IMO, guaranteed for that fact alone he'll end up short packed.

The Prime stuff... A lot of it we'd already seen before but for the things we hadn't; I'm really caught now as to whether to ditch getting the Deluxe figures and go after the Cyberverse figures (Hello Optimus Maximus, Energon Drill & Spaceship) or vice versa. Both have major appeal but I'm also running out of Display space rapidly so I have to weigh up their priority in my overall collection.

There are so many Deluxes from TF: Prime that I want though, my youngest Brother damn wants a Voyager Megatron so, hmm... Decisions, decisions...

The Prime toys are my main fixation at the moment so I've lapped up these latest pics like a cat with a bowl custard. Can't say my custard didn't have any lumpy bits in it though. Crappy purple bits aside, I think Voyager Starscream is a nice mould and look forward to seeing TakTom fix Hasbro's mistakes with their version. Small details like having just the one missile now per arm is appreciated. As for the other Hasbro TFP toys revealed? I'll reserve my judgement until I have the TakTom versions in-hand but I'm not exactly thrilled with what's been shown. My theory is that Hot Shot wears goggles in case he catches a glimpse of Knockout...

Here are a whole lot of Prime (and a few G1) toys - some might be new:

Wow those Prime figs are a mixed bag, some very good and some very bad. Loving that voyager Starscream. It's just a shame that 3 of the 4 voyages we've seen so far have transparent plastic for their elbows.
And the only one that doesn't - Megatron - has so much clear plastic that when that stuff disintegrates there won't be much left of him besides his elbows, lol.

So glad I got a FE Bulkhead.

Drives you mad doesn't it. >_< I wouldn't mind quite as much if the clear plastic at least matched up with the toys main colours and they then stuck a purple light or whatever inside but to have these ridonculous clear purple, blue etc plastics...It totally mucks up the overall look of the figure!

And what the HELL is with these voyager PRIDE weapons? :/ Megatron's is the only reasonably sane one, wish I could say the same for Prime, Bulkhead and Starscream's....Where a vomit emoticon when you need one.
