I can't believe it's worth that much. Though I've been balking at Ebay prices atm. search for Power Rangers mecha and it seems like some people think they have gold bars, not plastic toys from the 90s.

Yeah... at those prices, I'm NEVER going to own any of the figure from that year's Botcon... As time goes on though, I find I'm caring less & less about them too.
(I wonder if that is a result of the pricing? )

I see what you mean. Am I right in thinking that it's more than likely the most expensive individual BotCon toy? Aside from the custom class ones that is. I remember a guy was selling his at BotCon 2011 for like $600.00. Starting to think I should have taken him up on the offer.

It was a cool idea, but it's not like the toy represents the epitome of modern toy engineering.

There aren't many non-G1 toys that come close to that $1k mark (and sells), it's looking likely to be the most expensive toy in the last 10-15 years?

Until someone makes a KO. A toy that pricey, you just wait and see
On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!

Here's one that ticks 2 of the three boxes (interesting and rare) for G1 collectors, a STARS badge. I picked two up from this seller last year and at the time she told me she only had three. Definitely bone fide.
