Looks like I've been totally in the dark about an 80's robot series that uses Transformers-like animation, Transformers sound FX, Transformers voice actors (Springer, Kup and Daniel in human form within the first 1 min) and Transformers-like plot development. Must watch it this weekend...

Any more of this? Is it any good?
That's one funky intro..good sounds. it looks like they were drawn with making actual models of them in mind.. I had a good chuckle at 6.05..

What happened to all the Go! Jinbu's? All I see are Kenzan and the red fella' on every site.

If you are talking about the yellow one, they were recalled for being constructed wrongly at the factory. They will probably be re-released, but the 3-pack might end up getting out before that happens.

If you manage to find a yellow one that wasn't returned to TakaraTomy by a dealer, they can be fixed yourself... and the toy isn't completely useless either if it isn't fixed, as it can still transform. It is mostly the combined mode that is affected.

    Anyone know:

    1. Whether the Shockwave figure that comes with the SDCC 'Shockwaves Lab' is the Voyager size?

    2. Does the Hasbro Toy Shop online (unlike TRU) deliver overseas?

If the answer to both is yes seriously considering getting the Shockwave's lab for $50 since I can't seem to find a Voyager SHockwave anywhere else.

    1,YES!!
2, no. you need an american credit card/billing address and american shipping address.

I had a friend allow me to purchase with his US credit card and have shipped to his place last year both bruticus and CJ but I can't ask him to do that with metroplex, it's too big. I felt bad knowing he'd brought Bruticus back as carry on when I saw how big that box was. metroplex is too big.

Cheers for that UM. Hmmmm, I've got a couple of American friends, but right now I have them combing TRU stores (unsucessfully so far) for MP SW so don't really want to impose more by asking them to use their own credit card. Will have to meditate on the issue

Don't forget that Shockwave's Lab is doing the same as Metroplex, and getting released as a Asia Exclusive with a different number as well.

So you need to ask if you want 2 of 30 or X of 30 in your collection

What about using a Paypal account. Can you get around it that way? I have an address to ship it to (wish I had done that before SW became available) but have decided against asking for someone to use their credit card on my behalf.

I don't mind as long as I can get one. $50 isn't too bad a price, on TFSource and BBTS they had it for $90 and both have already sold out
