Yep, a bloody good read it was too!

I'm very much considering going the Takara route too, as the metallic paint will be more consistent with the rendering of the CG models from the cartoon.

...also, if Rattrap ends up being his Beast Machines iteration? - It'll be a total pass from me but if Tankor turns out to be his BM iteration I'll damn pick that up!, had better be a Voyager class figure at that.

Don't get me wrong, Beast Machines has its place in TF history and needs to be represented in the Thrilling 30, but if the Generations Rattrap toy does end up being his BM version, I'll be very disappointed and look on it as a wasted opportunity.

I'm not a big fan of BM Rattrap as a character but I'm among the very few that love the quirky design aesthetics of BM. If they make Rattrap and Tankor as homages to their BM cartoon design, I'd be as happy as Rattrap being BW show-accraute .

Beast Machines definitely deserves its place in the line too; I'd love to see a (Voyager) Strika and (Deluxe) Obsidian find their way into the Generations line too!

Agreed - I think Rattrap really needs to be either his Organic or Transmetal self, rather than the Techno-Organic wuss he ended up as.

I agree completely on this even if some things relating to Beast Machiens weren't that great it deserves recognition just as much as any other line so I am very glad Tankor is getting a new figure,
I'd also love to see a new Deluxe Obsidian and Nightscream as well as a Voyager Strika (and maybe throw in a deluxe Botanica there too )

Why are people assuming that Rattrap won't just be based on the comic design? That's kind of how it works at the moment. With deluxe toys at least.

I don't think we'll see a Strika or Obsidian after Hasbro allowed FunPub to produce toys of those characters this year. That can often mean that they don't have anything planned for the foreseeable future.

I'm really liking this new rhinox. Looks bloody amazing in robot mode.
Can't wait to aquire him especially since he was my favorite character from BW.
I'd love to see all the main show characters redone like this like tigerhawk or ravage for example but that's only a pipe dream.

I was under the impression that Rhinox would only come with one Chain-Gun, but his listing on Amazon says he has "twin gattling-guns of doom"!
