I am happy. A Star Saber is unusual and a kind of cool MP to have despite the overly Sci-Fi Anime space ship mode.

Well, TFW2005's got some info up:

TakaraTomy is supposed to officially announce the winner to the Transformers Masterpiece Fan's Choice Poll on YouTube today. However Figure Oh has the jump on them! Via Tag Hobby is a scan from Figure Oh #190 in which the results of the poll are listed. Star Saber is the winner! However how the other characters fared may pique your interest. Micron Legend Monster Convoy, AKA Armada Optimus Prime actually came in 2nd! Here's the list in its entirety, thanks to tackertackle for the translation!

With the advent of lines such as Transformers Masterpiece and Transformers Classics/Generations, a new, fully articulated Star Saber has been in demand for a long time. How fitting that Star Saber achieved Transformers Victory!

Thank god it's a Japanese character that I have ZERO interest in. Great for those who dig it, but my wallet is happy that there's a break in the MP figures for me.

Seriously, between Smokescreen, Wheeljack, Bumblebee, Ultra Magnus, Soundblaster, and the fact that I'm after the flame-sword Grimlock reissue, and see need to catch up on Sideswipe and Red Alert... I'm just glad there's a break on the horizon!
