Life sucks! Had to put my 14 year old dog down today.

My condolences dude. I remember about 5 years ago I had to have my beagle put down, she was about 12 and man it was hard. I haven cried like that before or since.

I've always had Shetland Sheepdogs, and they have always conked out at 14, poor little buggers

Old age really. He was deaf, blind, disorientated and became a lot worse in the past few days. It broke my heart to see him like that. I havnt cried so much in my life.

I havnt cried so much in my life.

I remember when my dog was put down, it was the friday of my first week at uni, I got home to where I was boarding and my landlady said I should call home. I did and recieved the bad news from Dad. I too haven't cried like that before or since.

The attachment we have to our pets is often just as strong as it is to the rest of our family. I hope you are able to keep many happy memories.

Have just received a phone call informing my family that my Great Uncle has been rushed to the hospital suffering Renal Failure (Kidney Failure).

At 87 years old and having lost his wife earlier in the year to an aneurysm; we're preparing for the worst, whilst hoping for the best.
