he looked awesome though! Eagerly looking forward to this release. I just hope they incorporate the necessary features for a masterpiece Victory Sabre to be realised!

I don't want to double dip into star sabre just so that he can combine with victory leo unless the improvements made upon him are on the scale with mp-01 to mp-10.

I wouldn't be surprised, or disappointed if they left it out. But if its there and doesn't adversely affect the figure overall then that'd be cool too.

Oh man a Japanese G1 figure as the 30th Anniversary MP? Have no interest in it at all. I guess it opens up new doors though for the collectors that voted Star Sabre in.

I dunno, I used to feel the same. Then quite a while ago a friend who was shagging a guy at Madmen got me all the box sets for free. Can't say it made me a fan of the Japanese G1 series (never felt the urge to rewatch) but it did open my eyes to how much bigger G1 was than I realized. Plus the likes of Star Sabre, Metalhawk and Dai Atlas showing up in IDW has raised my interest even more. Will definitely consider picking this figure up depending on price

It's entirely possible that they may leave it out, but I reckon that the constraints placed on the original design should/could be a little looser nowadays.
Even if they just remove the spring-basis to the gimmick and perhaps have something more akin to a traditional Headmaster, I think that'd be better than nothing.
