About me mixing up the Takara & TFC reissues, You can blame wikia for that
I know the Classics reissues in the early 90's would have filled some holes in people's collections but there was a 9 year-gap between the end of Classics & the first of Takara's reissues (so I assumed interest & wanting for more reissued G1s would have been high)It says 2000 as in the era of the 2000s. Not "It started in the year 2000." But I'll put 's' at the end of each 2000 to make it clearer.
If you want to criticize the wiki, criticize it for the mysterious non-listing of the pre-Collection reissues.
