Thunderbirds are Go looks great and captures the vibe of the original perfectly. The new ships are perfect with a slight update. Toys are apparently coming as well.

I normally avoid watching South Park, but I was crossing past the channel on the way to something else last night and something caught my attention that had me watching the rest - it was an episode about trying to stop Disney from taking over Star Wars and ruining it. The funny thing was seeing the Star Wars vehicles being used by Mickey Mouse, and having the Ties and AT-TEs patrolling the Disneyland park... as if they were real. It was funny because sometimes the Disney corporation feels like the galactic empire, taking over everything (Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars)... it won't be long before they control the world and need a clone army to run things.

Spent a good chunk of my weekend watching Daredevil on Netflix. It was great. Was a bit unsure going in but they pulled off a really good Daredevil story and I'd say the most satisfying TV adaptation of a comic book ever. A top quality production in all areas, that makes Agent of Shield look bland and childish in comparison.

Really looking forward to Aka Jessica Jones (adapted from the comic book Alias that I thought was great) later this year

You know, I've tried to not be so cynical about TV shows, so I was kinda excited to give the new "The Odd Couple" show a a chance. It was an immensely popular show way back in the day and they have remade it with Matthew Perry from Friends and whatshisname from Reno 911 - both actors I have found decently amusing in the past.

But sadly we have got yet another completely predictable sitcom . The scenarios are tired and cliched, the characters are completely one-dimensional and when they act out-of-character it comes across as staged rather than genuine character growth. Every episode has proved predictable from the first rehashed one-liner

Haven't been this disappointed with a sitcom since Shatner's Sh*t my Dad Says. Not that these are the worst sitcoms on TV - just they are ones I thought had the potential to be good yet turned into yet more ongoing crapfests

While I've only watched the first episode so far, I would agree with your assessment.
