    Default Decoys return

    Coming in January 2016 from Japan, the return of Decoys* that we saw way back in 1985-1987... but all new sculptings (and for some reason they are being promoted as being usable as erasers - not that any of us would).

    There are eight in this set, and they will be sold in Capsule dispensers (like the Movie figurines, Arms Microns and recent Kreons), apparently for 93yen (although, if they are from a Capsule dispenser it might be a more rounded figure like 100yen).

    This set of eight (hopefully there are more to come) include...
    Convoy (Optimus Prime)
    Bumble (Bumblebee)
    Meister (Jazz)
    Wheeljack
    Ironhide
    Lambor (Sideswipe)
    Perceptor
    Ligier (Mirage)

    All in Gen1 Decoy red.

    (*no... the ones with action poses with GEN Metroplex don't count )

    I remember being into Monster in my Pocket. Collectible rubber figures loosely associated with literary monsters. Decoys sounded much the same but I never could get into them.
    Any figure that comes with swords demands wrist articulation.

    They've always been marketed as rubbers in Japan, even the original ones in the 80s. The idea of them being decoys never seemed convincing, even at the time.
