I haven't seen the Ice Cream twins for a few weeks now, best bet is to try one of the larger Toy Worlds like Strathpine.

Has anyone else seen the Flashez Transforming G1 Bumblebee and Cliffjumper LED torches at Kmart yet? I couldn't see anything on the last couple of pages, but they are amazingly cute. Copyright 2008 on the toy, but 2009 on the tag. I can't see any listed on ebay, so maybe we got them first? Or its really old stock, and just appearing in Australia?

At the Carindale meet on Sunday, we saw the wave 3 Movie Robot Heroes (Chromia, Megs, Ratchet, Barricade) at BigW and Myer. Both those stores and Target had the latest wave Deluxes, minus Arcee... :(
Which seemed to be the one everyone was wanting on the day.
Other than that, there didn't appear to be anything else new-ish at Carindale last weekend. :(

Saw at Coles (Sunnybank) the other day, Animated Bumper Battlers for $19 each!!! They had up to the Nightwatch Optimus wave. Hasbro AU apparently want to offload the smaller Animated sizes to grocery chains until next year, when stores get over the fad of the Movie toys.

Garden City TRU had Nightbeat and Ejector, but only one of each before I grabbed them. Both BigW and TRU had the newest Gravity Bots (Skids and Bolt Bumblebee). And TRU had Scorponok and Swerve, but once again, Arcee was missing.

Is it just the ones I've seen or all of them in general, but does Swerve have Pinkimus Syndrome? I was really looking forward to picking him up but once I saw him in person I was really turned off. The mismatched colours in the plastics are horrendous.

The Remote Control Optimus Prime on special for $54 normally at $100 something dollars. Even on sale thats still alot of money, its a nice looking movie prime that dosn't transform, has some cool speech and sound gimmicks though. I can't say I recommend bumblebee, he looks cheap and has very poor sound gimmicks.

I have noticed this a while ago and is worth mentioning that some kmarts may have off locations of movie toys near the dvd section. Also Items on clearance maybe located on an end or near layby.

On Nicklin Way just after the Mooloolaba exit if you're heading south towards Caloundra. Around where it goes from a 100 to a 70 zone. On your right, right next to Harvey Norman. You have to go down to the lights and do a U-turn if you're heading that way.

New wave of Star Wars Transformers found today at Target in Springwood/Brisbane, including one I'd never heard was coming.
Anakin/Y-wing bomber (new)
Battle Droid Commander/AAT (brown redeco)
Cade Bane/Xanadu Blood (green redeco of the Magnaguard) - this was news to me.

Back of packaging shows co-sells of Clone-pilot/V-wing starfighter (grey redeco), and what maybe a red redeco of ObiWan/Ep2 Jedi-starfighter.

Standard Target price of $35, so didn't buy any yet.

They also had the NEST 2-pack for $50, and the new Animated Activators for $18 each (plus heaps of Voyagers and the big Rollout Optimus).

The only real new stuff to come through the bigs is the scouts. But really, it's currently all the same all over the place.

There's no real toy drought unlike last year, it's just they havn't released anything new yet. All there is is the movie. There isn't any tv show stuff yet as it's still being sussed out. I think it might be wfc stuff up next.

I just want to state that no new stock has appeared at any stores in
Townsville since Christmas...apart from the Bumblebee/Soundwave 2

Target seems to be a big fan of buying older/weirder stock at reduced rates (Universe 2-pack of Cybertron repaints, cheap Animated Leaders & Voyagers, etc.) Hasbro mentioned in one of their responses that they hope to get the new Animated Voyagers released out here but they have quite a backlog of stock to get rid of. This is that back log. They initially had them on sale for $25. I'd expect to see that again.

Went back to Target Mt Gravatt for a $20 Bulkhead for MV75, and the store has over a dozen Megs and Bulks. (I got you one dude :) )

Stopped off at Kmart Sunnybank, hoping to find the new NEST deluxes (they didn't), but instead found new Legends (Jolt, Arcee, Stealth Bbee),
new Scouts (only had Scattorshot and Skystalker), and new Voyagers (Mindwipe and Defender Optimus).

Bought what I could (damn I hate paying full retail for these things, considering the exchange rate right now), and left a couple Mindwipes and Legends behind.

Actually, since that photo, I went on a rampage literally and bought more. :D:D

I got about 12 or so from Fatbot, 2 from a member of this forum, bought 5 more when Toyworld Brisbane had 20% off and 3 from Robot Kingdom.

I think its time I did an updated list.

I pretty much have most of the DST and Palisades busts. Just a few more to get, but not really a high priority.

On EBAY there are some dreamers out there with unreasonable pricing, given that they dont really move!

Last Friday I also found some new RPMs at BigW Garden City - the new Diecast ones.
They look and feel so much better, making the original plastic ones look like knockoffs. And they are priced at the new lower $4.74, compared to old $8-10 price, making them more competative to Hotwheels/matchbox.

I found 7, but the card backs suggest that there are at least 11 new ones out in the first assortment, which includes 'Metal Heroes', 'Nest' redecos, and 'Stunticon' redecos.

I think it is good to have a re-release of the main characters in diecast, otherwise these better RPMs still won't sell because they would only be weird redecos or unknown characters.

The downside is that the diecast ones are now too heavy for the Devastator Trackset to launch (which might have been a factor for doing plastic RPMs in the first place). And Jetfire is too wide to fit as well, even with the wings folded up.

As you can see they still have a fair few of the Battle Ops Bumblebees. No MP Grimlocks left though. And not many Recon Ravages left either... so get in fast if you want the freebie (I think the fine print would say 'while stocks last').

Interesting... most stores seem to be restocking but none have the wave 2 Generation toys. It appears as though they don't plan on releasing them here anytime soon. Glad I already got WFC Soundwave and Megatron but I feel sorry for those who are yet to experience how great these toys are.

Kmart Logan Central has ROTF Dirge, Thrust, Strike Mission Sideswipe, Armorhide, Ravage, Dead End and Stalker Scorponok for $19. Wave 2 PCC Mudslinger (x2) and Double Clutch for $39, three HA Skids, two HA Sideswipe for $35 and a lot of AA and Generations Wave 1 deluxes.

A computer games store at Kuraby (opposite the Kuraby Trainstation) had some imported JP ROTF toys. Prices were hefty from what I remember, but that's expected with independant importing.
In the photo of their front window, are several boxed TFs figures at the top, plus some of the blind-packed EZ/Legends figures near the bottom.

Target Browns Plains have AA wave 3 (Tomahawk, Terradive, Electrostatic Jolt) - $28 each.

Toyworld Browns Plains have AA wave 2 (Hailstorm, Elita-1, Sideswipe, Skids) - $25 each.
Plus, PCC 2-packs wave 2 (Sledge, Leadfoot, Icepick) - $15 each (new stock out, but they priced them at last month's sale price... so wasn't gonna complain).

BigW Calamvale and Browns Plains had/have various figures from the first wave of Stealth Force (all three sizes).
