Microman toys are compatible with Animated Prowl! The handles fit perfectly into their hand grips! I don't know why I've never tried this before -- but I was making good use of this public holiday and playing with my toys (:)) and I decided to use Kicker as Prowl's "holographic rider" and yeah... fits like a glove!

My new Prime, best of 3 worlds. Take the head from the Alternator Prime,it requires little modifications, the ball joints are the same for the head, you do need to take about 1mm of the bottom of the head to fit, and to be able to fit in where the original head was you do need to dremal out so the head can go back in place.a gun from Universe Prime and the body of an animated Transformers Cybertron mode Opitmus prime.its one of my easiest modes ive done and a lot of fun to pose.the alternator Prime wheels didnt work out so well for Hound.

That is awesome, Tabias! I love that mold immensely but never thought it'd go well with a conventional motif. How wrong I was. Looks friggin' awesome. Will be on the look out for a cheap Alternator Prime now just to do that. Well lcz128 will do it for me anyway :D

Yeah, a lot of people feel that the smaller carded toys are often better designed than larger boxed figures. I think one reason is because with smaller toys, Hasbro aren't as obsessed with jazzing them up with fancy-schmancy gimmicks, so they can just get down to the core business of making good Transformers! I don't know about you, but I would much prefer better engineered TF action figures over any kind of electronic gimmick any day. JMHO. :)

I see your point about small TFs being better nowadays. For me, it's largely due to articulation. For example, despite being larger and thus being able to fit more joints in, TFA Grimlock actually has less articulation than TFA Swoop does. I find this interesting.

(I still love both of them)

my ironhide looks just like that all the time, just like he's had a crash, i have to leave it in robot mode because i cant seem to line him back up when putting him in car mode.do's anybody else have this same issue?.maybe i just have my tongue in the wrong cheek,its a bit of a p@ss off.:mad::mad:
Mate, it's actually very possible to get ironhide in 'perfect' alignment - it may be a bit fiddly to start with, but after a bit of studying of the mould - everything fits. Yes, it's still going to look like a bit of a rubiks cube with the windows and all - but it will all transform seamlessly - Little things like actually having to get the crotch piece to rotate so that it is almost parallel with the spine, then the little slot at the bottom of the crotch piece that the hood of the car's little tab fits into - just lil things that may help? :)

Lint (and Tets), how do you guys make Animated .gif again? What software did you use?

I use Adobe Imageready CS2. Though theres probably more lightweight software out there if you just wanna make gifs. In imageready you just organise the pics as a timed slideshow and then save as gif.

Haha, fantastic photo's, Firecracker. You know you could also use the chickin demolishor as the bottom half of a 2-part combiner! You have the body and legs right there - it just needs the arms, chest and a head! I'd try it with my Demy & Rampy but I'm feelin' a bit lazy. :p

Yes, colour-wise he's a mix but in person it seems to work. Complex transformation ending in some sort of perverted Beast Wars Ramulas x Spittor hybrid... but I do love him to bits. :p Can't wait to see see how he moves on screen. I can just imagine him having a Venom-esque mechanical tounge.

At first i only got him because he was a Autobot Flyer and that i liked Aircraft.... :)

I don't think it would be much of a battle, as "Breakaway's F35 jet" mode goes a heck of a lot faster than "Ransack's Bi-Plane Mode"

It will probably be, sort of like that episode of "The Simpsons" where they got 2 jets to intercept Sideshow Bob in the (I think they call it?) "Wright Flier" and eventually they had to get and walk after it.:D:)

If you closely watch the shot in ROTF of Sideswipe flipping over Sideways those 'wings' do actually extend out like that. I always thought it was too make him more aerodynamic and allow him to do those acrobatics.

Fallen became Blackbeard's ship and sailed around sinking Royal Navy ships in case they were Autobots, and I took the form of William Kidd's ship, which sailed off in a different direction. We sailed for days and days and days until I realised that he wasn't actually a pirate, and by that point we were just bobbing around in the middle of the ocean for Primus knows how long, and that's when the violence started. Kidd said 'Hey guys, stop killing each other before I get executed for piracy', but of course kids never listen to their elders, so...

actually, it reminded me of the movie Predator 2 when i read it.....
you know, the last part, when one of the predators reward the main character with a pirate's flintlock pistol, which tells the audience that they have been around in different eras of human civilisation... so yeah...really good to imagine TFs in other eras, similar to the TF hearts of steel comic etc....

Yeah, one of my fave parts of ROTF was when they revealed that there were TFs disguised as Model T Fords, biplanes etc. ;)

Nice one Tabias! Reminds me of when I was a kid I'd have my Transformers travel back to medieval times like in the G1 ep "A Decepticon Raider In King Arthur's Court." :) I love the scene of Rumble walking around covered in sh*t. :D

With Adobe Photoshop, it's an effect called 'lens flare'.

Now if someone could teach me how to change the colour of the lens flare that would be useful!

Regarding the skellington I was originally going to make the jeep be smouldering like it's been on fire. Then laziness kicked in. :rolleyes:

Heh.

It's based off unused animation for the episode 'Megatron Rising-Part 2'. Apparently there was a sequence in which the Dinobots attacked Megatron, and were defeated by him. This was cut because the animation for that particular part was incredibly sub-par. I wish they'd release it as a special feature on one of the DVDs, though.
