Yeah, it's a double entendre, not a freudian slip. Watch Scrubs, and you'll see a character called Todd use Double Entendres well.

Double Entendre (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_entendre)is saying something that can have a double meaning (usually a lewd double meaning). Most of the popular sitcoms these days rely on double entendres as their staple diet of generating laughs, because it requires a level of processing the line and then getting the laugh as a reward (as opposed to simple visual, slapstick humour). I see it as an element of power for comedians/writers, as they are know the alternative meanings, and everyone else has to work it out. It can also be an element of perversion by those who constantly try to find double meanings in things that were not intended (like The Todd in Scrubs).

Freudian Slip (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freudian_slip) is planning to say one thing, but end up saying something different by accident, often by being consciously distracted (allowing your subconscious, or auto-pilot, continue your dialogue for you). Kinda like being at the shops and talking about, say, shoes and seeing a hot busty lady walk by... and then hastly try to make out to your wife that you said the word 'boots'... ;)

It's true that it's hard to put it together, and it doesn't stay together that well, but i would argue that the design it is based on (I'm gueSsing that it's the koto chain base) it's about the same, if not slightly flimsier..
I think I would be able to put it together better if I spent a bit more time on it and if I did it on a proper flat surface as opposed to what I did which was build it on the shelf that it is on.. Kinda bent at a strange angle, trying to put it together. Took a while but I managed!!! And also I skipped the stickers as they actually have clear display monitors cast in Clear (actually a bit opaque) blue plastic.

Am thinking of how I can add to it but haven't come up with a plan yet. Hence leaving of as is. I just wanted to get it on my shelf asap hence a quickish job of putting it together. I still really like it though!

Got that from HobbyCo, years ago when they were still in this other building ( not in QVB). There was Akuma and a lot of other figures back then - this was during the time when they were trying to sell these figs off so were reduced ,if you can call their price reduced:rolleyes: at all. It the only SF fig I own, been looking to own Ryu but the fig is pretty expensive nowadays.

Yes. they attach in their normal beast mode spot, with the barrels unfolded, which can then swing down above his head. He even uses them like this in several times in the comics. Razorbeast is a very cool character and toy.

Story behind it: one of my wife's cousins gave it to our first son about 10 years ago and it's gone through each son's hands since (we have four :eek:)

It's called an Obitsu Body stand. I got mine from Angolz but I think they are out of stock now. You can probably get them from HLJ or the like.

I do have Acidstorm (and the first Starscream). I wanted to keep the image 'Gen1 pure' to highlight what Hasbro needs to release next with that mould.
As such, the photo would only include Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker (missing), Dirge, Thrust and Ramjet.

BTW, Sunstorm hasn't been released as a Classicverse figure by Hasbro or Takara. Acidstorm is the only non-Gen1 character so far produced with that mould... and there is so much potential for that mould (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Seeker).

I might have to invest on a "delicate warrior" figure. Quite ironic that the "valkyrie" - a label usually given to tough warrior like femmes end up with such a gentle, porcelain looking, easily breakable toy, and "delicate warrior" ends up having a sturdy, more playable, on-steroids look of Arcee. they should switch names actually....:p:p:D

Thanks! :D I wanted to make use of the light-piping, and the only way I could manage was light from above, so that kinda set the mood of the shots, and then the figures just about posed themselves.

It was kinda tricky to get everything to work though, 'cos all I've got is chairs up on the dinner table with velvet draped over the top, and then a lamp propped on the chairs above the figures. XD
