Of course I prefer the G1 packaging, but Classic boxes are also very cool and they bring back fond memories. I mean, come on... they're gold

They bring back fond memories for me too. There was something awesome about going to shops and suddenly discovering that I could buy toys that I'd thought had been gone for good a few years before. (Springer in particular, at the time.)

Taiwan is where I bought most of my Generation toys. They get them first before the rest of the world (in most cases). Possibly because of it's proximity to the factory in Vietnam.
