They are playing mind games with you. The time over the weekend will allow you to think & they are hoping you feel a sense of guilt so you come in on Monday & retract the resignation. Type up a new letter of resignation if you like but date it today & deliver it on Monday.

I don't know what your job is size of organisation etc but a good reference is essential. Is there another manager who works there that will give you a good reference?

Just things to consider of course.

Personally, I don't see how anyone could be rash if they handed in their Resignation, the fact that someone is resigning clearly shows they have thought about it!

I get the feeling dude these mongrels are going to do their very best to absolutely F*** your life around as much as possible - I know one's not supposed to promote violence but damn...
this happens at my work too, people will say they will resign but getting a counter offer and think it over first

My warning letter is justified, as I raised a bunch of concerns that I had never raised before -- except I guess they are forgetting about May 2010 and Feb 2011 when I raised them then. There is nothing new at all.

I also told them that I was no longer working in a company that allows its manager to harass and bully. Because of that, they want to investage. So while they do that please take a week holiday on the company..

Maybe if they had of said .. whoops, sorry about the written warning - we retract it, and your manager is leaving in 3 weeks anyways and here be another $10k .. then maybe I would stay.

Sorry to come in a bit late on this conversation, just wondering if you have enough evidence to prove that you were being bullied? ie dates and time of incidents and corroboration from other staff members......I ran into a similar issue. I quit my job of 12 years because of shit from the boss, some could be classed as boarding on death threats. but because I didn't write down time and dates I really didn't have a leg to stand on....Mind you I did screw him over in the end...He tried getting out of paying my long service leave, I bought the heavies in and he was crapping himself because he had no idea of the people I knew, the one of the advantages of having a church minister who use to run with bikies in his younger days and takes crap from no one still...

One thing in my new job I have learnt is to right things down, you just never know when it might come in handy...

Non paying bidders on ebay! Especially 0 feedback ones! From now on no more bidders with zero feedback! Now I can either relist the items or offer second chance bidders but I always feel second chance offers seem dodgy.

2nd Chance Offers may seem dodgy to a Seller, but from a Buyer's point of view (Especially one who's been sniped) it can be a massive relief - As was the case with my G2 Megatron's Green Light Array/Thing.
I got sniped on the auction and thought, F***, but a day later the Seller sent me a second chance offer for the item and I can tell you I was very relieved.

It's up to you dude, but I agree with your feelings towards 0 Feedback Buyers, hell, some non-0 Feedback Buyers & Sellers can be dodgy.

Usually 5 days if they dont respond to messages or if they do I dont mind waiting a week or so. The one in this case has said they would pay 3 times yet no payment has yet.
