Media Player Classic HC, I had to switch to different renderer. I updated the image links in the previous message.

    Yeah that's much better!

I don't know man, in my own experience DVDs & Blu-Rays have never looked as good being played on a PC through a Software-based media player.

The composition of hardware & software that comprises one's PC/Mac invokes a multitude of variables in overall output on the screen; in my own experience, once again, I've found dedicated hardware-based player devices produce a vastly superior and more consistent quality image "On the screen" than a PC...

So whilst I'm certainly not going to say you're wrong, I'm going to reserve judgement until a comparison can be made with that of a proper DVD/Blu-Ray player.

Actually that would be more due to the fact a PC system will show any flaws in a Blu-Ray/DVD transfer more, compared to standard player & TV. There are various image enhancement settings on TVs which can effect the visual quality when enabled too.

That doesn't make any sense at all, those images are directly from the DVD. Using a different player setup isn't going to make those visible compression artifacts magically disappear.

It does look a little chunky in spots there. That is dissapointing.

I'm not an audio/visual engineer and I can only speak from my own experiences; as I watch DVDs & Blu-Rays on a TV via a dedicated Hardware player almost exclusively, I'd like to see images from such sources before making my mind up as to whether I should purchase the locally produced offerings or not.

As I said I'm not saying your wrong but my reservation of judgement is perfectly sensible, thank you.

It's also appreciated that you've brought these and other productions to our knowledge, as well as highlighting these seemingly apparent issues.

Transformers Animated Season Two Collection is been released in March 2014:
    Transformers Animated Season Two Collection

There will be less episodes on the next DVD release, but I doubt the video quality will be any better. Since there is still a large amount of free space on discs of Transformers Animated Season One

A four month delay been volumes seems far too long, especially when the Unicron Trilogy is been released every month.

i will admit it made me remember why i loved animated so much.

on the other hand MARCH!!!! #*&^#(*&%#*(& that is pretty much a massive wait

Transformers Animated Season Three Collection will be released on 21st May 2014 in Australia, according to Madman B2B web site.

The upcoming DVD release from Shout Factory in June 2014 looks like much better option though:
    Transformers Animated: The Complete Series

Hopefully it will be added to Amazon (USA) soon, since Shout Factory only ship to Canada and the USA.
