If they could apply the VIP discount within hours (should really be instantly to prevent any risk of missing out for items) and not days to respond to invoice requests that would really be amazing. I still have to forego the VIP discount for a lot of items (which in turn would negate priority shipping) because their VIP response times aren't quick enough.

While I agree that their response times on VIP orders can be a bit slow, I've never actually had them tell me I missed out on an item. Have you had this happen? I mean I suppose if it's a week after something comes out, but I believe they generally (up to this point) have always held back a few on the website numbers to ensure VIPs get product. I take MMC Kultur as an example - they stated they were going to have "single digit" numbers available so sent an ASAP email out to VIPs to gauge interest before putting it on the website.

Anyway, apologies if you have missed out on an item while waiting for an invoice, but it's not happened to me personally.

I agree - having individual codes would make sense and (in theory) alleviate some of the work for them. But there are still ways it could be abused if they don't manually validate (at least spot check) so I understand the hesitation.

That's ridiculous, so what you need to start a facebook group or something to get actual honest feedback about ONE business? And why does anyone defend bad customer service? Nobody would stick up for Kmart or Myer for stuff like that that I see every week in this thread.
Can anyone honestly say that is not a completely fucked up situation?

I mean I'd like to hear anyone defend that nonsense. Just lends credit to the various things people have posted in both threads.
Honestly, I'm never posting in this ridiculous thread ever again, its' full of more bullsh-t than Donald Trump in a cowfield.
I rely on and trust the users of OTCA for good information and advice, and I get in EVERY other thread but this one.

I feel for the mods/Griffin etc who have to deal with this kind of BS.
If it were up to me i'd be like **** it, no thread at all, go make your own thread/group on social media...................
thanks to the users who have been very helpful in posting about new item etc, I appreciate it, but I'll just go back to checking the site a few times eeah week for new stuff.

At least I don't have to wade through ten tons of crap just to get the information I want. :mad:

Oh and nabbed Dirge as soon as he went up, we can complain about alot of things but at that price there isn't much to cry about!

Anyone know why he is cheaper than the other jets? I think I paid $199.95 for Ramjet so Dirge is a bargain!

Firstly, I would like to wish all our existing and new customers a Merry Xmas and a Happy and Safe New Years .

It has been overwelming and breathtaking just how many customers gave support to us in 2016 , We went from being in the hundreds mid 2015 to now being able to provide thousands cheaper and affordable collectables toys.
The Average amount of orders a customer now places with us is approx 8. This loyalty has been incredible and the amount of growth we keep seeing is humbling.

Our Core Principle to be price competitive will remain our main goal going into 2017 and I appreciate so so many of you who show and understand that patience with our business model yield large long term savings to your bottom line.

Sales for the first half of this year are up nearly 200 percent from 2015 which we have to take as a endorsement of how we operate and will continue to support going forward provided the means to keep growing.

Lastly, Xmas period this year unfortunately meant some hard choices were made, particiularly in the customer service dept.

we are now working on having our enquiries all responded to before xmas eve.

I had no choice but to put all the team onto parcels on most days. as our goal was to get all stock that came in in DEC out before xmas.

BUT I apologise to anyone who has been upset or frustrated by the lack of responses they may have experienced throughout this month.

We Have essentially achieved this result, with all stock sent out that had arrived.

We are expecting there will still be alot of stock hitting our warehouse when mail services resume mid next week, For this reason I have decided PC will not close until the 30th of DEC until the 6th of January , This will again allow us the pump out more pre orders that are due to hit next week before we close for a short break.

So Shipment Notices should possible be hitting your inboxes right up until the COB on the 30th , then resuming on the 6th of JAN.

Thanks for all your support in 2016 and the many Kind Emails I have seen come through to our team over the last week. It further reassures us most of our customers are happy with what we provide.

ps. PC TV should air on youtube in a couple of days, some of the information may now be dated, we had some tech issues with the shoot, but going forward in 2017 the show will be happening

I asked about Magna Convoy and PC said they weren't going to sell it. But hey, I've seen them randomly contradict themselves previously before... so anything's possible.

And what about those whom you'd call the vocal minority that trusted you with getting TF at the most affordable prices and have been left hanging for months on end for still no product? What about the customers who haven't had their enquiries replied to? What about the customers who still haven't received promised refunds? Suppose they can be damned right? They had to learn the hard way the cons of shopping at your store because there's certainly no mention of it anywhere in your terms and conditions.

Even though the voting is finished and this "bribe" has no baring on the outcome now? Seems logical, because people who didn't even vote can still use the discount code. I dont get it, are you saying they bought votes AFTER the poll was run? They never said their would be a discount if they managed to win it. Plus, if a member didnt like them a 10% discount is a useless gift anyway.

The username thing is a small (not foolproof) measure to avoid the 10% being used outside of OTCA members. Check with Paulbot but i doubt PC have a list of who voted for them (if you were implying that only PC voting members can use the discount).

All up, i don't buy the 'incentivised voter theory' in this instance. But YES for the previous big online shop vote.

I don't want to start a thing here but didn't you mention you that you were done posting in this thread at some point? If not, can you please be done? Most of your posts in this thread seem to be attacking PC or another member, none of it is very constructive. I think we all get that you don't like PC so if you are no longer buying from them why do you even visit this thread let alone post in it. I don't like Beast Wars but i don't go to a BW thread and actively attack it. I just dont read that thread. It is getting tiresome to jump on the PC thread to check for news and offers to find you posting derogatory posts, please stop.

I know this happens from time to time, I got my Victorion long after everyone else, and my Powermaster Prime and Blaster before most.

I'll admit, I haven't gone through this whole thread. Are people starting to get email replies from PC yet ? I have orders with ETA's back in July that haven't shipped yet, and no reply to an email before Christmas, or a follow up last week (after their email issue was 'fixed')

i submitted one query in Jan and nothing yet.

But to add some perspective, around christmas was the shutdown for the holidays, and the added email errors (I recall there being another email/server error that they were trying to recover from prior to christmas on top of that) - so even though you sent an email after the issues had been fixed, they would still have to work through the backlog of emails waiting for responses before your one.

Their recent facebook post states that they will try and catch up by the end of this week.

Kind of wish they'd have given VIP's the perks instead of 23% off storewide (for what seems to be everybody). The VIP system needs more work as it is to prevent order requests from going unanswered and being responded to much faster before non VIP's being given first dibs.

I only emailed them once after the email issues have been cleared and received a reply a couple days ago about my MP Inferno which im still in mid Feb batch. Im still overseas by that time so i asked them to despatch the item at least 3rd week of Feb instead and they noted it, also they will look for a mint box for me :)

All I'd like is to be able to use the VIP discount instantly at checkout so that I can get my order in on the minute like the rest of the non VIP's that order high demand items when they go up. Their current system rewards non VIP's by delaying VIP orders hours if not days due to introducing a response time for an invoice to be modified, while non VIP's buy up shop as insufficient stock numbers are put aside for VIP's (myself and other VIP's can attest to this). It's just a needlessly frustrating system.

Which is why it's bittersweet that non VIP's will be able to use a discount code that will allow for an instant discount at checkout, as this is not reflective of the way VIP's currently receive their 10% discount at all.

I'm not advocating for giving VIP's first access to items before they go active. All I want is to have items secured and ordered the minute the listing goes active like the rest of the hardcore fans.

You would think that they could just give each VIP a unique code to use that is tied to that account, and if that code can't be such that only that account can use it, then every use of the code is cross checked to confirm, such that unauthorised use by another account will mean cancellation of those orders, and and at minimum a loss of VIP privilege to the VIP involved.

I mean how simple would it be to do a check when you see a VIP code used with only 40 VIPs (im not one).

Unfortunately this isn't the case. Only once have I been emailed to advise stock was set aside and that was for MMC Kultur. I missed out on the Rogue One Smugglers Bounty box after sending 4 emails throughout a 16 hour window from when the listing went active asking for a discounted invoice and received no reply (pretty sure this was before the email fiasco too) and have had to forfeit my 10% discount on numerous occasions because they simply wouldn't get back to me in time and I couldn't risk missing out (e.g MP Thrust, Hasbro MP Soundwave, MP Loudpedal etc.)

The discount isn't very helpful when it can't be used.

Yeah I'm with you there, I wasn't far off the mark for VIP last year, but from the looks of it it's more hassle then it's worth. Surely a code would mean less work on their end, less emails etc

I remember that I didn't receive a VIP invoice for Thrust or Loudpedal prior to it going live but I did receive an invoice later on with no issue. I have only missed out on one and that was MP Soundwave. They appeared to overlook my email and I chased them up 4 days later and by then stock was gone. Otherwise, I am pretty sure they tend to set stock aside as they have told me that. I'll post a quote if I can track down the email.

I would think that if you have a unique vip code for each vip, you will not be able to share the code. If they review the purchases and find you been abusing, your status will be removed.

To further add, the loop hole is asking a VIP member to purchase for you, hence is still sharing. Whether a VIP helps another member to purchase is not really avoidable.

I be agreeing on this point, and I think many VIP members agree as well.
Also the VIP club should be emailed for the exclusive items not just post on Facebook as the whole point of a VIP group should be exclusive and Facebook page is meant for public. Bape for example went to Facebook where VIP email group should have been sent.

How they want to give perks is up to PC.

Discount is not available for Thrust or loudpedal as is exclusive, if you are VIP they should have emailed you. Well that was my understanding but mp soundwave is a legit example, I know it was sold out.

Bit of an update: no email thus far. Another email was sent last night, but the email before that was about 7 days ago. So, best case scenario, my emails aren't somehow getting through. I can't get through to them on FB either (theyre not taking my messages).

This is pretty absurd/obscene to be honest.

Don't know about the email situation, but they shut off the FB messenger service. So no one can contact the PC FB account via FB messenger. They announced this at some point, don't recall when/where.

12:21 EST - We are talking to a similiar service to fill the void, Zippay are not going support preorders going forward, and we really do apologise to the 100's of customers who use this method for pre orders reguarly and without incident, It does appear 2 customers of zippay have spoiled it for the 100's who use it everytime and have found the service beneficial. We encouraged many of those to use zippay when it first was offered and we will offer incentives for customers to change over to the new service once we have a proper agreement in place.

Yes but it's way dated, imo the video is a lot more work than just one page of ETA updates which a lot of people have suggested.

To be honest, when ordering I think people should know if their order is allocated to the first air or second by sea. That way there are no surprise or disappointment and more transparency.

Again? What blame game on Customers has PC done previously?

Just one example, remember when PC said the exclusives would be cut to one order run because of the complaints they were receiving from some customers on order delays? They put it on the customers rather than taking ownership of the issue themselves, just like in this case. It promotes a mob mentality among the customer base and it's crap. There was no need to call out the 2 customers, they only needed to say they were switching providers and leave it at that.


Yes but it's way dated, imo the video is a lot more work than just one page of ETA updates which a lot of people have suggested.

To be honest, when ordering I think people should know if their order is allocated to the first air or second by sea. That way there are no surprise or disappointment and more transparency.

The whole sea freight thing was the nugget in the video. It explains why we are now waiting 8-9 months on a lot of these pre orders now. The pre order is usually 5-6 months away, so then add up to 3 months if you don't order within the first 30 seconds. Problem is that this is not advertised anywhere on the site or when you order.

They have mentioned sea freight a few times, but never openly on their website, only in response to queries here or on fb, so if you never read those responses and didnt hear it from someone else, you wouldn't know.

I don't disagree with anything you are saying. Just stating that they have mentioned this before and it seems as though the vast majority of people who are complaining about this are either on these boards or on the FB page so they all have access to the information.

All good mate. I myself was not aware of this which is why my ears pricked up when I heard it on the video. I thought they were mostly just random delays. I only knew of the 1st and 2nd batch releases on exclusives, not general release figures.

I still think their delays are excessive and it seems to me while we all know the eta's on their website are misleading would it hurt them to put an eta of when they will receive the item instead of when it's released? At least that way people will know there is a bit of a wait involved.

Or is it that if they do that sales would drop from what we've heard and I've seen people aren't ok with stupendous wait times.

So what happens when people start to question why the change was necessary? Do they ignore the queries? Or do they doctor the truth to cater to those with delicate sensibilities?

Guess what? There are some elements of the (general) customer base that are crap! You just need to look at what happened to both TFI and Just Bots; given both retailers ran a preorder-now-pay-later scheme both ran into the issue of people ordering then refusing to pay. In TFI's case, people were doing this to actively troll and damage them!

Sooner or later the real reason for the move is going to be known, and delaying that inevitability is just going to further p!ss people off.

It's there I witnessed it first hand on fb threads gone now but they were at least 20 of them trying to rip threads of them. I'll leave it at that.

I'm still waiting on MP Skywarp and Inferno. I wonder how they do their allocations as I ordered Skywarp within the first minute of him being live on the PC site. Must be some other method to decide who gets in first if most people already have theirs.

Ditto me with Thrust. Ordered about 15 seconds after the listing went active, yet I was still told I was about 10th in queue a couple weeks back after it seems everybody has long received theirs.

Still waiting on MP Inferno and Skywarp and a myriad of other things that others have already got too. This whole thing is really starting to kill my passion for Transformers to be honest.

I got mine last month as i believe i was able to order within first few minutes it went live. MP Inferno is my first order from them that i secured a few hours it went live and im still at mid February when i asked them (but that works fine with me as i am currently overseas).

I believe that if you aren't able to order within the first few minutes you have to weigh your options if you are not willing wait long

I got mine last month as i believe i was able to order within first few minutes it went live. MP Inferno is my first order from them that i secured a few hours it went live and im still at mid February when i asked them (but that works fine with me as i am currently overseas).

It's weird as I was a late order for Ramjet and Thrust and got them quickly but I was really fast for Skywarp (could have been even 30 secs) yet waiting for him. As long as they show eventually!

Don't recall hearing about any major issues with Victorion. Great pick up at that price! Was looking at this too. There were 4 bots that I was keen on. Managed to get the one I really wanted. :)

Only 3 3rd party bots left on the page. Some nice looking Figuarts still available and a Pop Bugcat for $5! That would still be a great get at $11.90 which coincidentally will be the price shipped for this cute little guy.

Picked up Victorion yesterday. Definitely faulty. The issues: Pyra Magna's knees (common problem, already fixed :) ) and Dustup came with two left hands, that's it! I'm laughing, everything else is perfect :D

PC made a facebook post on friday night claiming they had extra Fanstoys Stomps and would be putting them up for sale "this weekend" yet nothing was listed as available at any point this weekend as far as I can tell.
Question is, did anyone see this actually go up for sale and it's just sold out again or has it not been relisted yet?
Several people have tried asking PC but there's been no answer so I'm hoping someone might know, I'm ready to pay right now for one but have no idea whether PC will be selling it or if I have to email them or if all stock went to VIPs or what.

It's also $10 cheaper then the first lot was, pre orders are $179 with a july/august eta.

It would be reissue listing since initial release stomp are sold out everywhere, and all the stomp listings globally are for the reissue stock which is to be manufactured and due till later in the year

New to the forum here. Saw FT-07x available Saturday morning and purchased it with my $25 energon points. Was unsure if the item is already in stock or still at preorder status? Has anyone gotten him yet? And just saw the fb post about stomp's availability last weekend. Not sure if that's the one I've got but havnt received any delivery notice from PC yet. Welcome aboard.

If it was listed as in stock only than you theoretically should have no issues getting him.

If it was listed as a preorder, which I believe Stomp was, add an extra three to four months to the ETA listed on the website, just in case you miss the first shipment.

Thanks mate. It's listed as 'eta dec 2016' for ft07x, so hoping they'll receive them soon.

Global release wise, both version of Stomp was released back in 2016 and most sellers got their stocks around the following timeframe

Since then most major retailers has sold out of both and only the regular version FT-07 Stomp is being reissued (not X), which was announced a week or so ago.

Yes their Ad was confusing given everything shown was for the regular FT-07 version with no mention of X, but If your invoice says FT-07X then could likely be old stock that has arrived recently and like Sinnertwin said should theoretically have no issues getting him.

Conjecture: Must be easier to max out 1 shipping container with same-sized large boxes that easily stack on top of each other, as opposed to tetrising a mixed variety of small/medium/large boxes. Also, it's simpler if it's a single order from a single supplier, as opposed to waiting for orders to come in from multiple sources (and potentially needing to warehouse early arrivals whilst waiting on late orders).

Not sure that's the case... when I've accidentally sent a message to @premiumcollectables.com.au I've always gotten a bounce-back error.

And the @premiumcollect.com.au isn't new, it's always been their email address. It's just confusing because it's different than the actual web URL.

Rules for VIP qualification this year have changed.

to qualify for the generous program the following there is a new change.
a Customer who places 25 or more orders in a calender year will qualify for the program if they cannot reach the 5k target, Customers who spend 5k but make less than 25 orders are still qualified.

also the discount of every order is increasing to 15% from 2018 on the program.

The Change reflects the variety of products we now sell and we appreciate not everyone collects items that have a larger sale price.

Fanstoys Stomp reissue is up for preorder. $180 which is cheaper than the first time they got him.

Also i just noticed they're updating the product page with ETA news. MAS 01 Optimus now says: PRE ORDER MARCH ETA- Manufacturer has not filled all orders yet to it's distribution network

Basically their allocated first run stocks has all been sold & shipped. A 2nd run is tentative for May

Have they changed supplier or something?

Pure speculation, but it seems the SEA shipments are coming in slower and less frequent than in the past. I don't think there's a big issue for a month wait for SEA shipment (given the cheap prices, if you want it faster order express from Japan via airmail) provided all orders are fulfilled in the process, but this doesn't seem to be the case for MP Primal and MP Inferno as they are shipping in small lots that incur significant delays.

Seems they took feedback onboard.Yeah ordered through the site, it seems to be one of the few pages that they removed for some reason or another, maybe because PX aren't going to reissue it again so it was last round for all orders, who knows. I havent been actively checking on release dates or delays for things so I have no idea if there have been delays on anything I'm waiting on (but now at least I have an idea on when Inferno might arrive), just this made me think about a few things that should have been mentioned but didnt.
Early days yet with this new update system though and weekly updates is a good way to go about things

The update message is great. I hope this does reduce the overall amount of inquiries they receive and satisfy some customers requests (although it could easily increase the number of emails from some which i think is why PC have attempted other methods first). Arrival of goods will still vary wildly but less people should be caught off guard by that.

They really isn't a need for one.

Scott can update his orders based on direct communication from his suppliers & storage and shipping facilities on a weekly basis, then update the relevant pages on his website and social media.

The email team under his employ can then promptly resolve the remaining customer concerns & we can resume our regular programming.
