Thanks, fellas. I ordered mine on 6/9/16 10:23PM so it does appear that PC are distributing the toys in order of when the orders were placed, which is good. :) I guess they must've been inundated with orders between 8:31 and 10:23 that night. :o

Man, I was really hoping MMC R-15 Jaegertron was going to be on the next update list.

PC has explained the situation to me thoroughly though, so fingers crossed he appears on the next.

I think so, they said due to a few reasons their R-15 units were not being sent to them from where ever they're situated, but all other regions had had them sent out as soon as they were good to go.

last of any worries, the main toy would be the only concern, seeing people are not getting any with Grapple at the moment, I won't be holding any hopes for late infernos.

I got one with my MP Inferno, but...

You have to keep in mind where those are originating. I don't know what suppliers are being used, but if they're sourcing some of the figures of Japan = no mini figs. If they get the bulk from Hasbro Asia distribution... well, then they come with mini figs.

I am still waiting for both as well....

I got a response from them on Twitter, there is 9 MP-32 Primal orders to fulfil, so we are 2 of those. They didnt tell me when :rolleyes:

MP-33 Inferno - They have shipped 90% the rest should be shipped this month.

So hopefully not to much longer to wait.

Energon Program Changes & Customer Service Team

Since we launched our store, our loyalty program has been and continues to be one of the most generous in the industry, we have always seen a tradeoff for store and consumer, a simple driving focus to offer the lowest prices. By having a program that promotes repeat business and shows substantial savings to our customer prepeared to accept our business model of sourcing lowest prices in the market that requires certain sacrifices on both end user and store fronts, in terms of time to import and our margins.

We note the average PC customer has historically now 15 orders or more with us and has used an average of $500 in discounted products. $500 off toys can be a nice saving .

So from April 1. the redemption of Energon points is changing, there will be 2 redemptions available to cash out,

Spend $500 - $10 voucher available

Spend $1000 - $85 voucher

all referral and pc in public t-shirt vouchers will remain unchanged .
Current Redemption remains unchanged until the 1st and vouchers from the current scheme will still be able to be used after the 1st.

We also will be announcing a overhaul of our Customer Service
We have been working on something for the last month which we are excited about that will not impact prices but will enhance response times to queries.

It has been frustrating for many of you we know, but to simply fix the solution quickly as possible would of meant a substantial increase in cost prices of products, so we have heard the feedback and worked substantially on how we can service the 5000 new customers we obtained in 2016 that has meant we have outgrown many previous processes to handle the enquiry volume.

on our warehouse end, we are now shipping 300 orders a week based on feb 2017 figures, this is compared to 50 a week in feb 2016 and why we hired more help in this area. This is the most important part of our operation as we do not want you to be waiting because we have an item that was pre ordered just sitting around storage, this is not happening and we encourage people to try our in stock orders if you wan't to understand just how fast we ship out items that arrive or are in hand with our warehouse.

That is a quite a bit of jump in rewards as is focused on rewarding the big spenders while $500 only get you $10. I guess its a weigh up on their business review.

I cashed out the $65 a few times last year, it's a great feeling, so the $85 will be great.
I really want to love PC, hopefully they will get on top of their customer service issues.

absolutely, I didn't buy anything even when they apologised and gave 20% off < there was nothing to buy at that time actually.
To me, I actually prefer small discounts for the small spenders and big ones to big spenders. The new points system if more heavily focused on you keeping your points till you reach a 1000 rather than spending at 500.

well hopefully they get their customer service sorted as my mails are still unanswered though a few were solved.

$1 = 1 point has always been the case, shipping dollars not included.

They don't expire, unless you "cash out" a coupon, that expires after a year I believe.

In his case I would cash out this month before the new point scheme if he is not seeing himself spending.

I must say, from a purely financial standpoint, this moves their already generous loyalty program even further in the + scale.

Yes, obviously the changes are meant to encourage repeat customers, but look at it this way:

The new discount is equivalent to an 8.5% cash-back reward on prices that were already (largely) the best around. That more than offsets the financial implications of pre-payment.

So, I won't discount the issues people have with delays and lack of communication, but for me the $$$ is the biggest decision maker in where to send my business.

Same here, although not on the lateness, I would have been one of the first to order... I am kinda wishing they would stop giving a % as I am getting more and more annoyed that I always seem to be in the last 2-10% lately...

Now instead of supporting the one main supplier that's local who put the others out, i purchase from overseas where there service is great and the prices competitive.

PC, why bite off more than you can chew? just to be greedy and try to 'own' the local market?

The inevitable 20% price hike across all items must be following close behind since PC was adamant back in nov (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showpost.php?p=542513&postcount=2542) improvements such as what they are announcing now can only happen with a price increase to everything.

I have had only good experiences with PC but as soon as they start to go pear shaped like others have i will shop somewhere else. If the prices aren't really good they will suffer as there is will be no reason to put up with poor service. It will be interesting to see how the client base responds to significant price increases.

Correct. You all can make claims of supporting local all you like, but all you're really doing is supporting your own hip pocket and it's helping pc put other local retailers out of business. Not one of you would support if it meant it cost you even 5% more than purchasing from overseas

AKA a free market. Even the ACCC admits it's not easy to prove predatory pricing - there's no hard rule as to how much they're allowed to discount their prices. It's a niche market too which makes it even more difficult. Why has no one considered the local competitors are settings their prices too high?

No ones stopping the competitors from developing their own rewards schemes or even...lower their prices. In fact i'd consider paying a little bit more if i knew i'd get my toys on release date or shortly after but not 40% more.

if you want good service and dont like to wait then pay the 40% mark up from another store, for everyone else there's PC. So long as PC remain reliable i'll continue to support them.

No ones stopping the competitors from developing their own rewards schemes or even...lower their prices.

if you want good service and dont like to wait then pay the 40% mark up from another store

Let's use 3P TF as a example, what many wouldn't know is that the heavily discounted pricing are either on par or even below the RRP in china.

When you take into account warehouse storage, shipping, handling, tax & tariffs and all that jazz and your still able to make it cheaper than the country of origin half a world away, its a god send for customers after the biggest bang for their buck but there's no denying there are some magical number crunching in the backend.

Unfortunately for most competitors since they are small in nature , its not sustainable and logical to price/lower their price to the realm or near cost or even below at times, which in the end cost them their place in the market place.

This then links back to WeallscreamforStarscream original point where other competitors has been essentially outed from the market.

So even if people want to spend that extra and buy from another, they can't since there are now minimal choices locally.

Yes, eventually, from YaHobby.com, not from PC since their site just kept saying "Sorry, this product is temporarily out of stock." from the moment it was listed. I was refreshing and checking about eight times each day for a fornight for Thrust to be in stock, never happened, so I took the next cheapest online alternative.

Even so I didn't receive Thrust until January due to YaHobby having an exchange rate error. I'd paid through their own sites Paypal interface 1 US cent more than they were expecting, meaning they'd registered an incorrect payment amount, and they didn't check to find out that it was an over payment and not an underpayment until I started pestering them to find out where my order was. Mind you I never got that 1 cent back.:p

At first I had the same PC ordering problem with MP Megatron and LG Dinosaurer, but they both came up as in stock on my third day of trying (pheww).

New post on PC facebook page. Apparently they are going to be selling reprolabels. But you'd still probably get them quicker ordering directly from the US...

This will make me more inclined to purchase stickers pending price. Good to whack them onto $100 orders for free shipping I hope. Expense was always prohibitive on something I see as a luxury.

this is why, they should not copy and paste especially March should be removed and say ongoing, (expecting more batches etc...). Pretty sure some people will get pissed at the update which is not update, even though if PC had not done so intentionally.

I'd love to see specific dates and quantities as to what is expected in the next batch.

Continuing to ship in month x and beyond for a figure released almost six months ago shouldn't cut it.

Well I interpret that as "no change since it was last mentioned", but that's just me being an optimist. The fact that search has been disabled on their FB page makes it a bit of a pain.

The 3/March update

So obviously that's not happened yet.

The last few updates mentioned FT Sovereign/Grinder ~ end of March / April ... but they appear to have been dropped from the most recent update. I highly doubt those orders have been filled. If they just put a bit more effort into these weekly updates, they would stop a lot of the email queries which just add to the backlog >_>

PC will not be stocking the TR Chaos on Velocitron set. They have advised that they usually will offer other exclusives so long as they are not TRU but no confirmation yet on whether they will stock TR Siege on Cybertron set.

I ordered several items as soon as the preorders went up including MP Megatron. Do many people tend to pay for that service to skip to the front of the line that PC offers? I'd hate to have my Megatron bumped a long way down the queue because I used free shipping. Also the idea of paying to skip to the front of the queue seems shady in general.

Well they didn't expressly state it but perhaps they meant transformers exclusives. Either way that's what they said so need to source from elsewhere.

Well hopefully tru gets some stock in while I wait for it to go on clearance like with the cw box sets.

I nearly pulled the trigger on stickimus prime on ebay for $20 more than retail...I don't know what I was thinking.

Oh well, back to waiting for my pre-orders from pc to come in, I take it no one got any shipping notices yet?

I paid $35 to jump the queue. It was available during checkout. It's going by road delivery but as long as I'm at the front of the queue I'm good. They better honour it or all hell will break loose.

I think they can't because if it's on a boat they only can guess when it may come. Best was to say that the shipment was shipped out on this date and we hope that it arrive eta date.

Their FB updates have consistently said that Cheetor has been shipping throughout March and April. But now, they're receiving their shipment before the end of April?!

I can only surmise that the normal version has been shipping for over a month now, but the shipment mine will (hopefully) be coming in -- the one that comes with the die-cast Primal statuette -- has come from a different supplier and thus has taken longer.

But I don't know that for sure. I'm guessing.

I like how not once did they say that your order would be filled with this shipment. They would have to know how many units are coming and where you are in the processing list. Smoke and mirrors

I don't really want to be wasting bandwidth by talking about PC but thought I'd reply to this one.

I was originally told I would receive a refund for express shipping which was added to MP36 (back in Nov 16), to date still no refund. Part of their response below ...

Jump ahead to a few weeks ago when their said their new CS department should be up and running ... I sent a couple of new enquiry, got the automated response, and haven't heard anything since...

one for for update on my refund, another was to ask where I was placed in the queue for my MP35, MP36 & FT Grinder orders.

I still have 4 or 5 orders pending but once those are finalised, I'm done with PC ( prob in 2018/9 sometime ).

Also, I thought I'd give them the benefit of Monday being a public holiday so no updates, but that's been and gone, so guessing it's not going to happen til next Monday >_> ... not that they have been that helpful to be honest.

Ok, I have reached my limit and dummies have officially been spit. How much of an email backlog could they possibly have? What are these customer service people doing that they haven't gotten through them all yet? There was a rumour that they were going to fold ( please note this is just something I heard and I have no evidence of any kind to support it, very possibly just some guy's opinion that was taken for something more), anyway, I would have cancelled the four or five pre orders I have with them except that you have to do this via email. I asked them over three months ago why my Ditka order was not showing as unfulfilled and was instead showing as blank( normally it says unfulfilled or fulfilled) but nothing. Is the general opinion they they are just going through a hard time and we should cut them slack or are people thinking they are on the dodge?....ok rant over....for now, but god help them I have more impotent rant in me...so....much....more

I suspect your Ditka was ordered with something else? Was that something else already delivered?

Is the "blank" you mention actually the word "partial" that just shows up in a white-ish font and therefore looks blank on some monitors?

Via their Twitter account, there will be no weekly update this week. However, they are moving these updates to the PC website rather than Facebook starting Monday next week. Here's hoping for a MP Inferno update.

What transparency is being lost? The vocal unhappy customers* post negative comments... they go unanswered except by other customers that (more often than not) just spout off the list of things they're still waiting for that has nothing to do with the original post or the other comments.

I know there's a lot of unhappy customers out there, most of which are just ill-informed about the way PC operates. That's still PC's fault for not putting a big flashing sign on the front of the webpage that says "Click here to learn how we offer the best prices!"

But, I concede that ETAs are getting blown out in the last 6 months beyond PC's historical norm.

What transparency is being lost? The vocal unhappy customers* post negative comments... they go unanswered except by other customers that (more often than not) just spout off the list of things they're still waiting for that has nothing to do with the original post or the other comments.

I know there's a lot of unhappy customers out there, most of which are just ill-informed about the way PC operates. That's still PC's fault for not putting a big flashing sign on the front of the webpage that says "Click here to learn how we offer the best prices!"

But, I concede that ETAs are getting blown out in the last 6 months beyond PC's historical norm.

transparency in the sense that you can see who has received what and who are still waiting for what.

I dont think the ratio is that high, especially how things are going this year.
I hope it come to their senses not to take high volume orders as the wait times are way beyond norm.

I find it weird that they didn't put the same message on fb as they did on twitter. Putting the update only on their website is a bad move as it'll most likely increase the amount of comments about product updates/service reviews on every listing they put up

Thanks to those who completed the survey, we will share some of the main results next week.

It's now the 21st and i haven't seen any results.

What is happening with BC ( few started calling them budget collectables, they call themselves beyond caring)
