Sorry to hear that. Well I just got my Unite Warriors Superion from NY yesterday and I was amazed how well it was packed. I ordered two and they used a larger box, had plenty of bubble wrap plus air bags. Everything was minty. When I got my Star Saber and Exhaust it was packed just as well.

Nah is good mate, I am prepared for some minor dents.

This is not directed at anyone in particular but there seems to be a lot of negativety about the Aussie online retailers of late.
I just wanted to say that we as collectors are always looking for the best price item in the condition we want it in, we now finally have multiple Australian distributors for these items and it seems some just want tear strips off them.
Personally I am just happy that we now have these distributors so we don't have to pay horrendous exchange rates for our stuff. Also we need to appreciate that they are happy to interact with us directly and answer our questions on the forum which would never happen with any of the OS companies.
Basically if we want to continue to have these companies getting our 'Bots we need to support them (whichever store is your preference) so that their ordering power becomes greater and the retail price can become lower for us, the buyers.


we appreciate the support, and know its impossible to reach everyones high expectations, we do try but in the real world it is not always possible. paypal fees would raise $10-15 dollars on each product and that is something that currently would be pointless and deprive the customer of the ability to pickup imported toys at a fraction of the cost major retailers sell them.

Yeah I've just ordered from PC and will not be too happy if that is how they post items. I've received transformers posted like that before and had massive holes punched through the box. Perhaps just bad luck but it isn't a very safe way to post.

However it's all for naught if the suppliers (-ed) can't offer the same assurances to you (PC). Cant send us mint boxes if you dont get mint boxes in the first place.

we have also mentioned before, if you are mint box collector or oob we do have a order notes section when placing an order. whilist mint boxes are not guranteed we can do our best to match oob and box collectors with the correct boxing, we might receive a pallet of 50 mp 10s for example. not all 50 usually arrive mint like they have come from the manufactur line. if there is excessive and out rageous damage we would never send it to anyone, they leave our place in a new condition.

A lot of online stores take upfront payment, such as AnimeExport etc. It probably helps to keep their prices cheaper (AE is even cheaper than Amazon JP!). It's a bit of a pain for customers if you don't have the funds then and there. One suggestion to PC may be just to let us know about the price of upcoming toys that will be available for preorder so that we can start saving up earlier, then when preorders open we can just throw our money at you. :D

I learned my lesson I be taking deposits with no refunds if I ever help anyone to order anything. It's my rights too.

Why did you order 20 devys initially? Did you buy 20 because 20 expressed/confirmed interest to buy it? Or did you buy 20 because you thought you could sell up to 20?

Everyone has bad experiences. I also had a bad experience with a seller. He said he would sell me this product but changed his mind and decided not to sell. I actually missed ordering online because I committed to buying to him. When we were supposed to meet, he sent a txt changing his mind and for me not to come. I was also mad as a customer but I can't force him to sell to what we agreed.

I know but this is up to the business to decide how they want to operate as.

I guess in your last explanation, you really need to have that relationship to your customers that they will not do that. But you as a business put that sign up that you are selling xx number of toys, you cannot rely that everyone buys. You are either accurate with your forecast or under supply in order to ensure that everything gets sold. There's always shelfwarmers. You develop that customer loyalty over time. It's all up to your forecasting and pricing models. But that is not out of the realm of possibility. But if your business cannot survive a single event like this, then that's really not a good situation for your business.

We are derailing this thread though. Let's go back to PC related matters. I'm still waiting for my Trypticon. :)

Not to get too caught up in the debate but from a personal point of view as a person that does the majority of their shopping online:

*I shop online mainly with HLJ and BBTS because they don't require payment upfront for preorders.

*I understand this is a small company, not a multi-million dollar one, so if it was something like a 20% non-refundable pre-payment on pre-orders I could and would understand. I would however need assurances that if it was the companies fault they did not get my product that I would receive this 20% payment back.

*Due to past experiences, and in regards to UW Devastator, I would be willing to lay down a 20% deposit that I would forfiet if I pulled out (In this case that would be about $42) but due to past experiences I am unwilling to lay down over $200 with a company I have no experience with for a product they do not as yet have in stock.

*These are just the thoughts of an online consumer - they in no way are a judgement of Premiumcollectables who as an Australian company I wish all the best. But perhaps my thoughts as a potential consumer may be of some use in the future regarding store policy :)

depends on contractor that picks up, some wil scan onto truck,

some wont and it wont become trackable until the delivery centre receive it from a driver

As you can see, it's a nice, big, sturdy box. There was also lots of butcher's paper inside to pad it out. :cool:

The box of the toy itself was double-taped on mine. Don't know if it was opened/inspected by PC or their distributors or maybe even Hasbro themselves. Doesn't personally bother me, because I opened the toy straight away, but something to be aware of for you sealed collectors.

Isn't it possible to pick up from their depot? I'm sure that's what happens to me when FedEx shipped. I just picked up from their office located locally.

This is what bugs me, I like to have it post into my parcel locker but because it is couriers they cannot do that. I guess I have to see how my tracks mp come and decide if I use my office address instead.

Our website advises no one type of shipment is used but variety.

Australia Post don't redeliver, courier service does have the option to redeliver for a fee,

We never advertise to exclusively send via auspost and all pricing would be increased if we did decide that, We have to go with the majority , and the majority are happy with our prices, delivery charges and content we import .

For me it's nothing to do with Auspost, but that the address i gave is ok for our business mailroom to find me, not a random courier. So as a business decision, maybe next time you want to be proactive and helpful to customers, a quick email out could have helped to see if the customers wanted the upgrade or not.

overall our catalog would be the cheapest Ive seen in australia for sometime,

especially with postage and free shipping over $150.

when the item is released our prices tend to slightly increase as suppliers may change to meet demand, so most po people benefit from locked in lowest pricing , Some items will be RRP but again, if postage is factored in and are overall catalog is analysed I think our prices are very good.

I'm sure that you're already aware of the difference between Japanese and Australian online retailers and that the RRP set by Takara for Japan obviously is not going to translate through to every country that imports the product.

when the item is released our prices tend to slightly increase as suppliers may change to meet demand, so most po people benefit from locked in lowest pricing , Some items will be RRP but again, if postage is factored in and are overall catalog is analysed I think our prices are very good.

I'm sure that you're already aware of the difference between Japanese and Australian online retailers and that the RRP set by Takara for Japan obviously is not going to translate through to every country that imports the product.
Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean to say that it's by any means a bad price. It's actually about $8 cheaper than what you would pay for this toy in Japan at full RRP (7560JPY/AU$83), and of course, the cheaper cost of domestic shipping would be cheaper than international shipping from Japan. :)

I was just wondering if they were willing to "price match" cheaper sources (can't blame me for trying :p), but this is still a good price. :)

You're not comparing like for like. It is like comparing melons with watermelons. Melons are good, but watermelons ..... mmmmmmm.

My understanding is that PC price match other domestic online sites taking into account shipping, blah, blah blah, with few exceptions. That's more of a fair comparison.

Of course, if you find a cheaper seller & happy with their service, by all means go with them.

We are quite fortunate to have several domestic sellers pop up in recent times to give fans greater choice. Time will tell how they perform. Sometimes I feel we expect more from our domestic online retailers than the larger overseas established online sites.

(I'm not having a dig at anyone, be it consumers or sellers).

Road Rage's price looks to be the same as full RRP, which is fine... but just wondering if you're planning on offering any pre-order discount as many other online places do. :confused:

In my experience I think you can get the MP Cars (small boxes, low weight) items cheaper at Japanese online sites if they are on about 30% price discount which the discount can cover the postage cost. Also if AUD has better FOREX at that time. But all in all if items are bulky or for peace of mind (hate looking for the cheapest to save a few $, i will just go to PC
