Something I saw on an email the other day from ToysRUs, is that the Aspley Store is moving soon... to a different part of the shopping centre grounds.
It won't be hard to find, but it might throw off some people trying to find it if they go to the old location and didn't see the new location while driving in.

Kmart Sunnybank had a case of the Deluxe Combaticons ($25), but were already half gone within two hours of being open today (they weren't there on December 31st).
Of the four that were already gone, both Brawls were gone, and I ended up buying the other three, so there is only one left (Vortex or Blast Off).

Kmart Garden City had the new Generations Legends (Shockwave, Pipes, Buzzsaw, Chopshop), for $19 each.

BigW Garden City had the new 8-pack comic set with figurines ($24).

BigW, Target and ToysRUs all still haven't restocked with any mainline toys. (ToysRUs got in 12 Masterpiece Lambors, at the front of the store)

I asked about the $329 price in the current Mr Toys catalogue, and they claim that that was the price at the Brisbane Comic Con, so it is not completely wrong to have it noted as a saving... but it was never at that price in the stores.

They also had in their current "Mr Toys" catalogue, the SDCC Devastator (for $249). The catalogue goes until January 10th, but this doesn't look like a sale price.
It says "don't pay $329", but that is meant to relate to RRP or a competitor's price... but since it is their exclusive, it is illegal to imply a saving if the item was never at the higher price there (or anywhere).

Yesterday, Target at Garden City had deluxe combiner wars, the Combaticons for $29 each, they also had voyager Hotspot for $49, and Leader Starscream for $89

Kmart Sunnybank Hills might have one set of Combaticons for $25 each.
I managed to purchase a set yesterday. Earlier in the week there may of been a set there but had already sold as I noted one Blast off and nothing else.

Correct. TRU Aspley is moving to the standalone building that was previously Clive Peeters. The signage is up now.

Transformers section at TRU Aspley has shrunk, possibly due to the move. Some carded figures and plenty of MP-21G and MP-12 boxes on the shelves. Also two units of the Platinum Insecticons (one of them was missing a figure, sheesh). At the front of the store was Platinum Trypticon, MP Star Saber and a CW/WU combiner set (could have been Superion).

I went there a few months ago and they had a fair range then. 2 plastic tubs full of G1 loose figures (ok condition, certainly not mint), prices ok. They also had some newer retail stuff, generations etc. Not a big range but enough to look at. Third party figures were also there, fans Project mostly.

I was last in there early 2015, iirc, and they didn't have much then (but as someone had spotted a bunch of the Generations toys a week or so before, it was more likely they'd been cleaned out).

Target and KMart have both restocked! Target now have CW Wave 5 deluxe, Leader Starscream, and Battlecore Optimus, in addition to a healthy supply of RID one steps and minicons.

KMart had wave 4 and 5 deluxe (looked like a full set of each), the new wave of Legends with Byzzsaw (I grabbed the last Shockwave) and decent amounts of Hot Spot and Cyclonus. I didn't look too hard at the other stuff.

And over at a games store in the Myer Centre called Mindgame, a new Transformers Risk game that is Gen1 themed (instead of Movie themed like the 2007 edition).
So expensive though... the same price as the new Transformers Monopoly set at ToysRUs (the one released in the last year, eight years after the first edition).

Quick trip to aspley saw Kmart with Scattershots and Onslaught (more on that soon, none left now), along with a couple of combaticons (I took Brawl and Vortex) and sunstreaker. TRU finally got 2 of each combaticon deluxe (I took a Swindle and Blastoff, price matched kmart and used $10 voucher woo) and a Scattershot. Also first time I've gone through the checkouts at Aspley TRU, they have a boatload of Trypticon, MP10 and MP star saber, as well as some UW Superions (and G2 Bee, Sideswipe, Streak in the normal section).

As for the Onslaught, apologies to anyone if that was your gf/wife in kmart texting you and you thought you were going to get an Onslaught. While I was looking up Scattershots wave mate after seeing him, I looked to see which non combaticon was at the back of the peg (was sunstreaker) and accidentally kicked Onslaught sideways, who was hiding on the floor under the shelf (intentional or not) and one look was enough to make my decision of UW vs CW and as I turned a girl walked into the aisle looking at her phone, looked in my direction and halted, glanced to the TMNTs and then walked off. Didn't occur to me maybe she was after Onslaught for someone til I saw her walking to TRU.

And they cut all three boxes open upside down, so all the Rescue Bots have to sit upside down in the slots or fall over.

Kmart Sunnybank - just four days after I sighted all those new Rescue Bots toys, most of them were already gone. The new large High Tides and Optimus, the Chase trailers, and the regular sized bots like the new Medix and Boulder.
And the Sky Lynx was gone as well.
New since the last visit were the latest wave of RID Warriors with Quillfire and Thunderhoof, as well as the 1-steps Springload & Quillfire.

Checked out Kmart and Myer Sunshine Plaza yesterday and found nothing new at Kmart but at Myers found the G2 Optimus YOTG had gone and they had restocked the Soundwave YOTG with about 5 of them all priced back to their original of $299.00.

But the big surprise was walking through one of the younger toy aisles and finding an entire range of Rescue Bots, including two items not yet found anywhere else here yet - the two mini-playsets on the top two shelves (which MayzaPrime has also sighted in the ACT sightings topic).
ToysRUs might be more expensive to Kmart, but it is good to have a second Retailer stocking them for us who collects them, to have more options... especially on the rare occasions of sales (or for price matching).

Also found this at ToysRUs... a returned Legion Thunderhoof, that had been torn out of packaging but then taped back into the bubble without trying to make it look like it hadn't been opened. Surely this shouldn't have been refunded by the store, as they should only be refunding items that are clearly unopened, or not damaged to the point of no longer being re-sellable.

At Garden City last Thursday night (nothing major so it's taken a while to get to doing up the photos)...

ToysRUs have restocked their Voyagers (Sky Lynx) and Legends (Wreckgar), plus the recent wave of RID 1-steps (with Quillfire & Springload).
A single GEN Deluxe left (Swindle) and there aren't even any peg labels for it, so they must have stopped restocking for the upcoming Titans Return Deluxes.
MP Sideswipe looks to be the only import or exclusive item at this ToysRUs store, which defies logic, as this would be the store that has to cater to the largest population, covering all of South Brisbane and Gold Coast.

Tru garden City told me that when they check their systems No one has listed any road rage for delivery to their store. They run that's very unusual.

Aspley keep telling me that they have no stock whatsoever although their system shows they have 5 in stock.

Exchange rates. I believe the dollar was lower against the Yen or the Hong Kong Dollar around the time Tracks was imported, but had recovered enough by the time Road Rage arrived that the price was slightly lower.

But be careful if you want to get a Sky Lynx from there during the sale as one was clearly a returned toy that was re-taped by the customer to look like it wasn't opened... but all the plastic ties were gone, leaving the toy to sit loose inside the plastic insert. So it could be missing something or has something broken.

Has anyone seen Fort Max in Big W in SEQLD? I've had a look in a few stores and called the ones on the sunshine coast and none have them. Nambour refuses to even talk about them, which was funny.

Edit: scratch that. Went to Kawana today and they had 6-8 fort maxes, tucked in behind monster high playsets. If you find Victorion they're in the next big section along, to the right, tucked in behind everything.

I found RiD Legion Ratchet and Blizzard Blue Prime in Woolworths. I think this might be the first Aus sighting of Ratchet? There was only one, but two blue Prime so got.one of each. I didn't realise it until I got home, but I don't think he's just a repaint of Strongarm - the head looks spot on for TF:Prime Ratchet. So I'm almost certain the head is a remold. Shame they couldn't put siren lights on him in vehicle mold though.

Big W Runaway Bay still has Victorion and Fortress Max (down to six), and the advertised Fast Action Battlers is the Junkheap wave we got last year at The Reject Shop. For five bucks I picked up a spare, because Junkheap is cool!

I found Tiny Titans Wave 6 at Coles Runaway Bay. Thought it was only wave 5 until I opened it up at home. Assorted characters include Minimus Ambus and Unicron, apparently.

That's not really a fair comment. I'm the only one on the staff currently posting the first sightings postings, which often means a group posting of items from a week or two beforehand. This means scrolling through EVERY sightings posting, and I know (and have acknowledged it a few times in the past) that I sometimes miss something... which is why I recommend posting a photo if it is something new so that I can better see it and can post it as proof to others (here and overseas (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-toy-discussion/953417-newly-released-upcoming-toys-hasbro-edition.html) who follow our first sightings topic).
I'm sorry I missed yours, but it has now been added into the first sightings topic now.

With the greatest respect, I do think you might be missing the point of the sightings thread. It's not about who gets recognised first, but rather letting people know which stores things are appearing in.

It's kinda funny that Junkheap (and the other two from that final wave) were so rare at the time of the movie in 2014 that it would fetch huge
prices on ebay (not so much two years later), and now we have had heaps of them being dumped in Australia for cheap (at the Reject Shop and BigW).

At the QBD bookstore, I impulsively went inside remembering the TFPrime paper-craft book... and not only found it, but saw that it was on clearance at $8, from $35.

They had this shelf tag up saying that they were on clearance, but I haven't seen it at other stores, so this could just be for this store.

Picked up Hardhead from TRU Mount Gravatt today. Only 1 Blurr, 2 Sweeps and 1 Skullcrusher left. But they did also have 2 Leader Primes and at least 1 Blaster.

They were, but perhaps Hasbro got in more stock and ToysRUs didn't want them... so offloaded them to Toyworld instead. (or just MrToys Toyworld, who seem to have a good relationship with Hasbro already, after getting the SDCC Devastator last year)

TRU Mt Gravatt (Garden City) had only a few Wave 1 Titan Master head dudes left, but someone had stashed a full set on one of the top shelves. After a little climbing, I finally had my CrashBash.

There is one Horibulk, one Nightbeat left on shelf, and as a nice surprise three full sets of Mini-con Weaponizers. I don't know which wave this was, and interspersed with previous waves. Includes Lormdoomitron, Bashbreaker, Slipstream (but not the old slipstream, he's a blue autobot binocular set) and Dino dude Tricerashot.

Also spotted Alpha Trion, Astrotrain on top shelf, and the big Rid Hyperthing flying Optimus. Sadly no Computron, which I'd come up to pick up.

It was fleeting and from the other side of the road. Will try and get a pic on the way home. I couldn't tell what was actually featured on the poster... it was quite dark (I thought it was a movie poster at first; I got that kind of feel from it...)

TRU Aspley just put out their stuff to stock the shelves tonight, noted super bumblebees, power surge optimis prime, 2 cases of wave 1 deluxes (so 4 of each), and 13 cases of voyagers (didnt think to check what waves sorry they were closing). No titan master restock unfortunately, i got skytread the other day and theres still a brawn and clobber left, I was hoping to find an apeface in the restocks. Also a blaster there.

Kmart aspley got wave 1 titan masters the other day, around 8+ of each and i picked through with the ones with the least noticeable sprue marks, there's only about 2 or 3 of each now. Heaps of legends too, 1 hardhead, and 2 of each other deluxe. Very tempted to grab 3 scourge to be sweeps for my future takara one. (Edit scratch that as i walked away a guy grabbed the hardhead).

Myer North lakes had 2x wheelie and 2x the other legends. I don't care for those so can't give names, looked like cassette types.

About that for the TR on sale. I grabbed wheelie, hard head, blurr and galvatron because they are definitely the best looking ones and were pretty much the ones I really wanted from this line. :)

As for the Voyagers, it looks like ToysRUs might have a revision case for wave 2 that doesn't include Astrotrain, as I couldn't find any Voyager Astrotrains, but quite a few of the other three (Galvatron & Sentinel Prime from wave 1, Alpha Trion from wave 2)... and it is really unlikely that they would have this much stock and sell out of just one of the four. Often a revision wave will include previous figures, but tries to avoid having multiples of the same mould (like Astrotrain & Sentinel Prime).

Myer at Garden City pretty much had no Transformers toys at all now... at least, no Titans Return toys, and just like the Hyperdome store, the staff said that they are not expecting to get in the Leaders at all.

Fortunately Kmart and ToysRUs were willing to price-match to the Myer sale catalogue, for me to get the two Leaders and three Voyagers I was after. From that $90 of savings, I bought myself the RID Powersurge Starscream (which is $60) as well.

They did have Skullcruncher yesterday when I bought my Mindwipe and Chromedome.

Chromedome is a good toy but it uses the same engineering as the CW cars, so not much new in terms of transformation. It does have some fun gimmickry though.

Toyworld Macgregor (down the road from Garden City) - had a few of the TR Leader Soundaves, wave 2 TR Deluxes, wave 2 TR Voyagers, plus the old TRU/Myer exclusives (Insecticons, YOTG Optimus, Evolution Optimus). They also had a LOT of the TF4 (big) Flip-n-change Drift toys, which Hasbro must have offloaded recently.
And for those in the area, this store had one of their SDCC Devastators from last year, back up for sale due to a layby that wasn't paid off... and I was told that it was $250 (which was their regular price in the store, despite them getting a fair bit of it paid off in the layby).
(the sale tag in one photo that says $29.99, is actually for the TR Deluxes... which are obviously not on sale at that price... it's actually a bit deceptive)

I think that's the first Rescue Bots toy at Toyworld, but I could be wrong. If it is, it certainly shows how successful Hasbro Australia has been this year in getting almost every other Retailer to take on the toyline, as it was just Kmart for a while being the only store with them.
