It's a good thing I'm getting Paleotrex, Primal and Cyclonus from Amazon. Don't rate my chances of finding them in yhe wild considering I'm only really able to go once a week toy hunting and only to Garden City. Had to cancel my Megatron though so hoping I can find him somewhere.

These are wave 1 toys in a "new" line, so we'll most likely get swamped in them. Target looks to be getting their stock now, and considering that Earthrise was hard to find at first only for wave 1 to flood the stores and go on sale multiple times, I'm not as worried. I would be eyeing wave 2 and later more since it doesn't feel like we get as much restock for those.

One of the websites already had preorders for wave 2 up. Looks like Megatron is still going to come packaged with Ultra Magnus Earthmode when he ships to retail. If that's true it should mean he will be restocked for a while longer.

Looks like Hyperdome kmart got in 2 cases of core, deluxe and Voyager, and all characters but cyclonus are there. Someone must have already grabbed both.

Then over at Toymate, a small number of Kingdom toys left from Core, Deluxe and Leader (only Optimus, no Beast Megatrons). They also had in a very old wave of Rescue Bots mini-bots (weapon beasts), which had six different ones (it is possible we haven't had all of them released here before). There was also a lot of old stock there since last time, from Siege (2019), Cyberverse (2018) and Last Knight Movie (2017).

The second-last stop of the day yesterday was at the Kmart at the Sunnybank Hills shopping centre, which looked to have had the range of Kingdom toys there, but was left with only a few when I was there. The one tease was seeing three SS86 Voyager Hotrods, which is not one I am currently after.

And on my last stop of the day, the Kmart at Sunnybank Plaza, which had zero Kingdom toys left (which I had noted a few posts back). It seemed that the more stores I visited, the less Kingdom stock each one had... leaving me with just the toys I bought at my first stop, which was all of wave one except Cyclonus and Beast Megatron (and still, absolutely NO SS86 Deluxe toys anywhere).

And surprisingly, this was another Kmart store that had already put out shelf tags for the Buzzworthy Bumblebee 2-pack (2 shelftags), which is still about 2 months away.

KMart Caloundra had the entirety of Kingdom W1 up to Voyager yesterday. I picked up one of each of the BW figures.

Caloundra is by far the better KMart of the two we have on the Coast. Although Sunshine Plaza is generally a nicer shopping experience I find the KMart there is incredibly busy and normally the toy department looks like a bomb has hit it.

Kmart has moved its shelf and has maybe 2 old items.

Target has a Cyclonus and a few Primals.

I was there Monday and Kingdom had been and gone. So the good news is restocking is happening. But they are still getting hit hard.

GC Myer is due an initial stocking and Myer has been getting the SS86 Deluxes and Voyagers. So keep an eye on it.

This was an interesting thing that I saw out of the corner of my eye... a licensed Marvel figurine set that joins together to form a diorama, which could mean the recently revealed Transformers set, could be released here as well. These were $16 each... but the service desk had a lot of trouble finding them in their system, so must be really new.

And then Kmart at Sunnybank - surprisingly, they had a different wave of $10 Cyberverse Deluxe toys... which I have a feeling might not be meant to still be $10, as the Slipstream wave/case was discounted stock for christmas (which had that product code changed to $10 in the system), so I think these restocks would probably be costing Kmart at the regular wholesale price (at about $20), and no one there has realised it to change the retail price back to their normal $29.
It's great for Cyberverse fans who weren't able or willing to buy these figures at full price. (not so much for those of us who imported the ones that were not found here at the major retailers)

A little off-topic, but I couldn't find an existing topic for this... while I was there, I noticed some Micro Machines, but not with the Hasbro label on them, so I was curious to see if Hasbro had sold off the Brand. On the back, it was listed as being licensed to another company, so this must be what Hasbro does with Brands that they don't want to waste time on if they don't think they can sell significant global quantities... but don't want to let go (sell) off the Brands that they own.

Does anyone have any photo proof that the wave 5 Cyberverse Deluxe toys (Soundwave, Starscream, Prowl) have been found in an actual Australian store? (or point me to a post on this site that has a photo of them in a store)
I can't find them anywhere in Brisbane, and I can't find any photos online to prove that they are even out yet.

BTW, I called up the Kmart at Capalaba today, asking which Cyberverse Deluxe they had in stock (they were the only Kmart near me that the website had listed as having stock that wasn't low-stock).

Yea, I was there a few weeks ago and was surprised at the lack of toys.

They do still have a decent toy section... a fair bit larger than Target Country stores that I've been to, but Buranda had all sorts of other toys (lego, girls toys, cars, toddler toys), just no Action Figure toys at all (like marvel, star wars, batman, transformers)... which smaller Target Country stores have had. It just seemed really strange that this one store was so determined not to have any boys action figure toys at all.

Buranda shopping centre just seemed to be a bit of a backwater for shopping, as I had found a corner of their Woolworths with old stock from the last four seasonal events (christmas, new years, australia day, valentines day).

I drop in to Buranda semi regularly. It is like they are aggressively ignoring some toy lines. The last TF were the Cyberverse Seekers and Quint packs. The last Quintesson went about a month ago. Even Lego is starting to dwindle now. I double checked to see if they are on the chopping block, but Buranda Target is one that is supposed to survive.

Also just noticed today, those Rescue Bots Rescan toys were found at Target.... Target don't usually sell Rescue Bots, and only had some of the Flip Racers way back in 2017 (some of which shelf-warmed a couple years).
That gives us a fourth retailer to find them at (and use for price matching purposes, depending on who has the cheapest price and who has the figures wanted).
I'll have to check out a Target near me and see what they are priced at (I couldn't find them on the website).

Target Springwood... the Transformers shelves have moved again (twice in the last year).
They had the new Rescue Bots like people have been seeing at other stores, for $19 each. Five of each Optimus and Bumblebee, so no re-released figures in that wave.
There was also a variety of wave 1 Kingdom Deluxe and Voyager Primal, and some SS86 Deluxe figures.
Annoyingly, there was a shelf tag up for the Retro Headmasters (which they didn't have there a couple weeks ago), and just an empty space, so probably been and gone. I guess you have to be really lucky to be at a Target store just as they randomly get them, to snap them up before anyone else.

Kmart - Only Core class Kingdom and the Deluxe fossil. They had a new wave of Rescue Bots for Australia, but it is one of the waves that has all re-release figures (https://www.entertainmentearth.com/product/transformers-rescue-bots-academy-rescan-wave-7/hse5366g). Also had the wave of Cyberverse 1-steps that has Ratchet and grey Megatron.
Unfortunately for me, they didn't have the one toy I was after, which is the new Rescue Bots Featured Bot (Bumblebee) that has started showing up at other Kmarts.

Target - no Retro Headmasters or Buzzworthy Bumblebee figures. Had the new Rescue Bots Rescan toys that every Target seems to be getting right now.

Myer - only a few Cyberverse toys and Voyager Earthrise toys. No Kingdom toys.

Went to Target Garden City to pick up my 4 clickncollect Headmasters... had to refund 2 of them. Two were the same and one I already had.
I'm probably lucky I got two of the four.
For anyone wanting a Hardhead or Mindwipe, head on over there. If they aren't out on the shelf, ask at the clickncollect counter for 2 that were refunded about an hour ago.
But be quick as the online orders take stock from stores and transfer between stores (or post them), they don't come from their warehouse, as 2 of my 4 came from Robina store and 2 came from Pacific Fair.
I'll have to wait a few days before ordering more, or else I'll get these two again that I refunded.

BTW, they had the 4 Buzzworthy SS toys on shelf... 2 of each.

Toyworld Robina - Only Wave 1 Kingdom stock (no Cyclonus if you?re chasing) in Voyager size, no Deluxe. Actually quite minimal Transformers stock really, and a large chunk of it taken by a KO Converters line.

Also Toyworld is advertising the World?s Smallest Micro Action Figure line, Transformers Wave, online. I checked in store, and they only had the Masters of the Universe Assortment. You?d be ordering them blind, but its way cheaper than trying to import these. At 9.99 it?s not a huge loss if you end up with duplicates.

And at Toyworld Macgregor... despite a store that is packed to the ceiling with over-supplied stock, their amount of Transformers toys is almost all gone. No Kingdom... one Earthrise boxed toy... some Siege Astrotrains, and a small assortment of Cyberverse and Rescue Bots.
Really surprising, considering how much stock usually sits in Toyworld for years, and how much over-supply of stock they usually have above the shelves.

Also, if I hadn't have felt an unexplainable urge to wander around other parts of the store, I wouldn't have found something interesting at the back of the store - Worlds Smallest (licensed) Transformers. The second assortment of figures is finally here, and they include action figures from Transformers, MOTU and GIJoe, along with some random retro Hasbro & Mattel toys.
The Transformers were $10 each (which might seem like a lot, but on Amazon they have been $15 from America).
The really disappointing thing about the Transformers ones (Optimus, Starscream, Bumblebee) is that they all have Optimus "packaging", while the four MOTU figures and three GIJoe figures all have individual "packaging" with the figure and on the bottom strip... making the Transformers ones disappointingly lazy. As such, I only bought Optimus, as the other two didn't look right being on Optimus packaging, when the company making these was able to give the others unique packaging.

Hey guys, Myers QLD definitely have wave two Kingdom in. Just nabbed the deluxe and voyagers. They still are up for recall but the staff are aware and manually entered it for me.

Further, the lady who runs the North Lake toy section advised.me thet is NO MORE stock coming to them. She said they are getting one drop and once they are gone won't be back in stock. She didn't say I'd this was for every store or just this one.

Kmart - had the new Rescue Bots Featured Bots (the larger transforming figures). They must have got in quite a few of them and sold at least 7 Bumblebees, as there was at least four cases worth of Medix figures, but only one Bumblebee left (each case has 2 Bumblebees, 1 Medix and 1 Hoist). I bought the last Bumblebee.
They also had the newest wave of Cyberverse Deluxe toys. No new Kingdom though.

Myer - Had Cyberverse Iaconus, which I think is new since I was last there a couple weeks ago. Everything else was old.
None of the Kingdom toys were out, so I asked at the only desk with a staff member on the ground floor (they have really been cutting down on staff at that store).
They looked up on their system and noticed that they only had Deluxe out the back. They grabbed them, and when scanning one up, it said "product recall"... so they refused to sell them, because they said that they were required to send back items listed as "product recall" because they could be unsafe and a lawsuit if they sell them and it injures a child.
Since they only had the Deluxe Kingdom out the back, they said that they would hold the 3 new ones for me, to sell to me later if they are allowed to.
(side note - they said that there was a "Kingdom 4-pack" in their computer system, which was leaked on the American fansites a month ago, but it isn't expected to come out until around September)

Myer Carindale - Yep that's right... after striking out at Garden City, I went straight over to Carindale. I tried calling them first several times, but the phone kept ringing out, so just had to take a chance that they had the new Kingdom toys, and would be able to sell them to me.
When I got there, they only had Huffer on the shelf. Bummer.
I took one to the checkout, and sure enough, it scanned up as "product recall".
Since the lady on the desk was already aware of them showing up as "embargo" in the last week, she went out the back and asked someone (maybe a manager) to see if she could sell me Huffer. She came back and said it was okay... and so I asked her if they had any others, or were they already sold or being held (I saw two Deluxe toys on the bench at the back with a piece of paper on it). She said that they had Voyagers and Deluxe, looking to a box on the floor at the back, which I could see was filled with Kingdom toys (it ended up having 1 case of Deluxe and 2 cases of Voyagers).

Kmart - had the new Rescue Bots Featured Bots (the larger transforming figures). They must have got in quite a few of them and sold at least 7 Bumblebees, as there was at least four cases worth of Medix figures, but only one Bumblebee left (each case has 2 Bumblebees, 1 Medix and 1 Hoist). I bought the last Bumblebee.
They also had the newest wave of Cyberverse Deluxe toys. No new Kingdom though.

Myer - Had Cyberverse Iaconus, which I think is new since I was last there a couple weeks ago. Everything else was old.
None of the Kingdom toys were out, so I asked at the only desk with a staff member on the ground floor (they have really been cutting down on staff at that store).
They looked up on their system and noticed that they only had Deluxe out the back. They grabbed them, and when scanning one up, it said "product recall"... so they refused to sell them, because they said that they were required to send back items listed as "product recall" because they could be unsafe and a lawsuit if they sell them and it injures a child.
Since they only had the Deluxe Kingdom out the back, they said that they would hold the 3 new ones for me, to sell to me later if they are allowed to.
(side note - they said that there was a "Kingdom 4-pack" in their computer system, which was leaked on the American fansites a month ago, but it isn't expected to come out until around September)

Myer Carindale - Yep that's right... after striking out at Garden City, I went straight over to Carindale. I tried calling them first several times, but the phone kept ringing out, so just had to take a chance that they had the new Kingdom toys, and would be able to sell them to me.
When I got there, they only had Huffer on the shelf. Bummer.
I took one to the checkout, and sure enough, it scanned up as "product recall".
Since the lady on the desk was already aware of them showing up as "embargo" in the last week, she went out the back and asked someone (maybe a manager) to see if she could sell me Huffer. She came back and said it was okay... and so I asked her if they had any others, or were they already sold or being held (I saw two Deluxe toys on the bench at the back with a piece of paper on it). She said that they had Voyagers and Deluxe, looking to a box on the floor at the back, which I could see was filled with Kingdom toys (it ended up having 1 case of Deluxe and 2 cases of Voyagers).

Sucks man, that Airazor and Ractanite were the 2 being held for me, after being told they had no Huffers... Huffer was the one I wanted. First thing in the morning I called Chermside, they said they had none, later called North Lakes who were selling out as I was on the phone so the lady called around for me, told me yeah Chermside had sold out and found some at Carindale for me.

After work I decided not to go to Carindale as they said they'd hold them til Saturday, and instead went to Chermside at 3pm... to find multiple dinobots, arcees, an airrazor and a ractonite. They wouldnt sell them (razor/racto) to me but put my name on them for Saturday (so I called Carindale and cancelled the hold there). Should've just gone to Chermside during my lunchbreak and I might have gotten lucky, but either way came home to my Inferno/Dinobot/Ultra Magnus from toyworld online.

Anyway... Chermside had nothing new anywhere else, except a core Starscream at kmart.

In other words, today was a big waste of time with no toys to show for it... and to top it off, I go to the post office because something from Amazon was supposed to have been delivered today, but I find out that it was sent to a post office in the next suburb (same postcode), and it had already been sent back to the sorting centre to try again at getting to my post office, so that I couldn't go to that other post office to get it... I now have to wait until about Wednesday to hope it gets to where it is supposed to be. At least they didn't send it back to America... yet.

Was at big w. Didnt get a chance to take a photo, was in a hurry. Important thing is that there was at least 3x blurr, 3x Kup and most importantly, 2x jazz figures (there was 3, took 1 home. For those wondering, it cost $23.20, less than all other stores at chermside). I can recall there being NO ss voyagers and/or leaders, nor any kingdom figures, as there were mostly cyberverse figures.

There was 1x kup, with 1x blurr behind it. Nothing else in studio series, neither voyager or leader, as well as kingdom figures. There was at least 2x cyberverse deluxe “seeker strike” starscream, along with battlecall bumblebee and starscream. There was also suprisingly (since i havent seen it until now) a bunch of siege “aimless” and “caliburst”. There was also a bunch of rescue bots academy figures, along with other figures. There was one lonely core class optimus prime hanging there as well.

At the myer store in the cbd, there was a ton of ss86 delixe figures, including multitudes of jazz, kup and blurr figures.
There was also at least 5x earthrise grapple, 1x ER and 1x kingdom arcee (the only kingdom figure present), 2x ER airwave and a bunch of ss62 soundwave (satellite mode). There was also a bunch of cyberverse figures, dont know if anyone cares about them, but if anyone wants to know, there was 2x cyberverse grimlock ‘seismic stomp’, a bunch of battle armour bumblebees and shockwaves, and a bunch of small energon armour wild wheels and bumblebees. Reminder that there is a 20% sale at myer if anyone is interested, which does apply to ss deluxes.

This afternoon while checking out the EB Games site for any new listings, I notice the Netflix wave 3 Leader pack on there, and in-stock for pickup only. The only EB Store that had one was Carindale, but on the Zing website the Garden City store still had it... so I bought one and since it said it was ready to pickup in 15 minutes, I impulsively headed on down to the store because it was late-night shopping (otherwise I would have gone tomorrow after work).

And there is still one left on the shelf... along with a giant sized Pop Vinyl Optimus (and I thought the regular ones looked disturbing). They also had one regular Transformers toy.

Been swinging by Kmart every few days on the lookout for Netflix wave 3. Today was different, Kmart North Lakes has shrunk down the Transformers section basically to nothing. There are a few single units on the shelf (outside of Core classes and Siege Target Masters). All the tags remain on the shelf pushed together with "temporarily out of stock" stickers. None of the new Bumblebee figures listed online are in stock or have tags on the shelf either.

Toymate - they are now sitting on a lot of wave 1 Kingdom Deluxes and Voyagers, which will probably end up shelfwarming. (probably annoying all those other collectors in other parts of the country, who can't find them because Toymate bought up so much stock, other stores around the country have bare shelves because of a set amount of stock brought into Australia)
Annoyingly ironic though, the 20-odd Kingdom Leaders that they said were on order a few weeks ago, are still "on order" in their system, so maybe that size class has also got supply issues in this country... and it is probably a good thing that Toymate didn't end up with heaps of them, as it would annoy so many other fans who don't have a Toymate near them, to see them shelfwarming at one retailer.
As soon as I got home, I ordered Beast Megatron from Amazon, as I was tired of waiting for them to get it in.

I thought the store might have gotten Wave 2 given the online stock indicator showed in-stock instead of low stock (given that they only had one Deluxe last week). I couldn't be bothered going today but wished that I had now... If I apply the same logic, there is potential for Calamvale and Browns Plain to have wave 2 stock as well as they are the only other Kmarts that is not low stock in the vicinity.

I'm not sure what is going on in this country right now, with all of these toys suddenly showing up here before scheduled, or before the rest of the world. In this case, T-Wrecks was scheduled for release here in June, and we are only a week away... so I guess this is one is on-time... it is just surprising that it wasn't out already in Asia and America if June was its official release date.

Okay... Went to Kmart Northlakes in hopes of Netflix wave 3, still nada. No pics as there is no change since last time, just less stock. Funny enough, they still have all 4 SS72 Starscream on the shelf, while they sold both SS86 Hot Rods. And a massive 22x BB Bumbleebee and Spike (Twenty bloody two!).

Big W Northlakes has no change... just even less stock than last time. Although they did have a ticket up for Kingdom Leader assorted figures now - but with zero stock.

MrToys Rothwell Haven't been in here in a while as I didn't see any stock sightings etc.. As of now there is a fair bit. 5x Leader T-Wrecks, 4x SS86 Leader Grimlock + Wheelie, 1x Deluxe Ractonite, 2x Arcee and 2x Voyager Snapdragon if anyone is still chasing him. They had multiple of all wave 1/2 Kingdom Core figures and then a few each the SS Dino and B-127.

My local Big W has a whole end of Sky Lynx, should be still for the sale. We I saw it my heart sunk, where?s Rodimus Prime. He was close by, but unfortunately the display was half empty which is a sign these wont last for the Sale. Last year I waited a while for Sky Lynx, cause I missed the sale. After reading at lunch today that Carindale BigW had Rodimus (15 of them), I headed over there after work, stopping off at Toyworld on the way (since it is outside the main shopping centre).

Toyworld at 2.30pm - 8x T-Wrecks for $99 each (seven left). Plus two new licensed Jada figures that I hadn't seen there before, of robot modes this time (they usually do vehicle modes). The Gen1 Bumblebee has light-up eyes.
Can anyone see what is wrong with the back of the Bumblebee box?
Their licensed micro sized figures are on a display at the front of the store.

Then at BigW at 2.45pm - a big empty space where 15 Rodimus Prime toys were just 4 hours earlier (or at least 10 less than 2 hours ago).
I really hope they weren't all (or most) grabbed by one person to on-sell for profit. This is a toy aimed at the more dedicated collectors, who should be able to go to a store and get one at the lowest regular retail price here in Australia, and not have to pay extra to a scalper or wait for the more expensive stock is released in July at other places.

I dunno what's going on yeah, see lots of sightings on facebook but went to Taigum and the woman looked up the item then kinda stepped back so I couldn't see the thing, and called someone up and was kinda like hmm, um... yeah... um... we don't have them. I'm assuming it might be something like holding them for a certain date, and when I told them that Carindale, Garden City and Browns plains already had them, as did NSW stores etc. she called another person, and then still said they didn't have them (which makes me think they do, but she was being told not to give one?).

I went to Chermside as they had a tag on the shelf already (just had 149 commander class) and they looked it up, told me they couldn't find any and maybe it was on the list for the week but in a different load (I thought maybe all sold out). I was with my kid and he looked upset (different reason, hah) and so she took my details. The next morning she called and said wasn't in. The next morning called again and said they had one on hold for me as they are in now. I picked it up, however there were none put out and I didn't see any over the weekend either (picked it up 2pm Friday).

Did a quick round of North Lakes.. No sightings. No changes. Might head out to Toyworld tomorrow.

Big W has zero new stock on shelves, and still only has 1-2 Cyberverse figures. It would appear they are saving it for the sale.
Kmart has even less stock. The Transformers section has now basically been taken over by Beyblades and other figures.
Zing Still has some Wave 1/2 of Kingdom including Arcee, Ractonite, Paleotrex and a few each of the Core class figures. Still some SS Starscream in store.

Also, a Mr Toys Toyworld is coming soon to LVL 2 of the Myer Centre. Not sure if it's in addition to the Queen Street Mall one or replacing it, but seems weird to open it on the quietest floor of a pretty dead shopping centre.
