Woolworths Sunnybank has restocked for a second time with the last two PCC 2-pack waves. So keep checking Woolies if you are wanting wave 5 for $12ish or having trouble finding wave 4 at Bigw (which are $8ish).

Big W Hyperdome had the DOTM Playsets as well (three of each)

Toyworld Hyperdome had the DOTM Activators and Gobots. Their catalogue says that they will have DOTM Voyagers for $40 as an introductory price.

Kmart Hyperdome does not even have a TF section anymore.

I was at Kmart Mt Gravatt before, it appeared that someone from this forum was ringing up about them.

When the woman hung up, she spoke to another lady and mentioned that there 4 Generations did not ring up in price.

They are out the back cos they think it is DOTM related.

Big W Garden City has DotM Cyberverse playsets around $28 each, there are two different sets, one with Bumblebee, other with Starscream. Powercore combiners $7.72, about 2 of each Heavy Tread and others.

Kmart Toowong has a couple of Voyager Seaspray for a red note each and surprisingly still 1 Battle Ops Bumblebee on clearance for 39 bucks (poor bugger has been there waiting for someone to buy him at a ridiculous price for probably close to 2 months that I know of - sorry, should have posted that earlier). They've also got an Ultimate Bumblebee and I think he was around 59 or 69 dollar but in my opinion Battle Ops BB kicks his ass!

and when I went to buy Optimus...they told me I couldn't
until the 16th...I asked why they were out on display and

Well I went to Browns Plains (reluctantly) today to get Generations Kup and Wheeljack as someone posted at 4pm yesterday that they had some left.

Unfortunately all gone.

I saw the Cyberverse Starscream Orbital Assault Carrier for $29 and decided to buy it.

Then I went to Big W and to my horror it was $23 so I promptly returned it to Kmart.

If I decide to buy DOTM TF's it will be at Big W definitely.

Mackay Target has an entire aisle dedicated to DOTM figures. I was greatly impressed.
They have multiple Leader Sentinel Prime and BB's. An amazing quantity of Scouts including Powerglide. All of those battle station sets, Deluxe figs, and so on.

It certainly can't compare with the fun of seeing new DOTM toys, but I just saw a new endcap display (cardboard) of ROTF activators in Woolworths. With this and PCC combiners, it looks like Woolworths is really supported transformers.

Toyworld Jindalee (QLD) had WAVE 3 DELUXES!!!! (A world first I think) And I guessed correctly on the checklist, as they had Thundercracker, Laserbeak, Nitro Bumblebee and Mudflap $27.
They also had Wave 2 Voyagers (Shockwave & Skyhammer) $50.
Plus Wave 2 Legion/Legends (Ratchet, Lightingbolt Bbee, Crowbar, Leadfoot (red one), Mudflap) $8.

Target Mt Ommaney and Indooroopilly had the Stealth Force Mini-changers 2-packs (one is a vehicle with pop-out weapons on car doors plus a Robot-Heroes type figurine) for $9 each (they had 5 types).

Target Mt Ommaney had the new Stealth Force Electronic Bumblebee (same size and gimmick as the Optimus one from TF2) for $49.

Target Mt Ommaney & Indooroopilly, and Toyworld Jindalee had the Cinemasks ($19 Target, $26 Toyworld).

Both those Targets and that Toyworld had Revving Robots Optimus & Bumblebee ($49 Target, $50 Toyworld).

It was a quick toyhunt though, and christalcase only decided those stores when we met up (we were either gonna check out the kmarts on the eastern suburbs or the western suburbs... we only had time for one group).
And he didn't end up buying anything movie related (waiting for sales) or Generations (didn't find the final five). And all I bought was a SWTF Thire/Republic Cruiser from Toyworld Indro, because of the impending trip.

Kmarts should have warpaths. I picked up wheeljack and thundercracker from Indro Kmart on the 16th, they were the last ones from that case left though (and didn't scan up either).
I think someone mentioned that Kmart would be stocking more of that wave next month? :/

Forgot to mention - Myer may have had an introductory discount of 25% off TFs... I bought a pack of the TF3 Snap Cards, and wasn't charged $10. I didn't question it in case it was a scanning error (the cards aren't worth $10, so didn't want to pay the extra $2.50), but when I looked at the receipt while walking away, it had printed on it 'Promotional Discount 25%'.
I cant see anything on the Myer website, and since Myer prices for TFs are higher than any other store, people here probably haven't bought anything there to know about it, or what it covers. I might ring a store tomorrow, if I remember.

BIGW Runaway Bay had only a few legends in stock, plus Voyager Megatron and Optimus. But they also have an endcap display (walk almost out of the toy section, its right on the end) with lots of lovely looking Deluxes at 23.94.
This seems to be the cheapest yet, until BIGW has its sale.

The more I look at my double-lefty Wheeljack the more I don't mind...
I think it makes him more unique... and it's not noticable when he holds his weapon.
I could even his swap the right hand from Perceptor, as the hands look identical.... and Perceptor seems more like the double molly dooka type lol

Myers seems to be the place for Wave 2 Deluxes.

Myers Robina had a full case on display. I picked up Lazerbeak (face only a mother could love) and Thundercracker, but there are still plenty of Bumblebee and one each of Sideswipe and Mudflap (or was it skids, i always get them confused).

Also, I saw jigsaw puzzle boxes (small) with art from Dreamwave covers, and a larger set containing a four pack. They seem to be brand new products, and they're made by an Australian company. Weird to get an Aus exclusive for a change :)

That's wave 3 deluxes. We still haven't had any sightings for Wave 2 (which includes Topspin - the blue racecar). It should appear again in a later wave.... but would be frustrating for those wanting to get it with the rest of the world.

I'm not too concerned about the DOTM range (bring on more Classics/Universe 2.0/Generations style TFs), but I did see Topspin at Toyworld Redbank yesterday evening - he does look pretty cool with a don't f**k with me vehicle mode! I guess he'll start appearing in other Toyworlds. There was also alot of Nitro deluxes - not sure what this wave is as I haven't looked too much into them. Laserbeak was there too along with the ARK - I must admit, I do want the ARK, but 60 bucks seems a bit steep.

Saw this morning, wave 3 Deluxes (Thundercracker, Laserbeak, Nitro Bbee, Mudflap and w2 re-releases Barricade, Sideswipe) at Kmart Sunnybank. They didn't appear to have any Wave 1 Deluxes left other than 3 Bbees, so that size class seems to be moving. And still another 3 weeks until the Movie starts 'advertising' the toys.

This is what I hate about Hasbro AUS not adjusting their mainline prices since last year... the new lines that they have to generate a price point for (like store exclusives, these HAs and the small HAs) end up having oddly 'cheap' pricing that's a lot cheaper than the regular existing sizes.
This time we have the HA toys that is priced at US$30 in America (twice their retail price of the Action Sets), which shows shows us what our toys should be priced at if Hasbro Australia wasn't profiteering on the exchange rate... :mad:

Transcan Series (translucent) - Bumblebee, Mirage (Does that mean I'm the first to own a DotM Mirage toy here?), Crumplezone.
Stealth Force Series (weapons) - Optimus Prime (this one is really heavy), Bumblebee, Autobot Topspin.
Beast Machines Series (animal paint apps) - Optimus Prime, Bumblebee.
Night Attack Series (mostly black) - Optimus Prime, Crumplezone, Bumblebee.

These weren't detailed at BotCon this year, and I haven't seen them on foreign fansites yet, so I don't even know if this is the entire first wave (it was 11 different figures, which sounds like an odd number).
Back of packaging lists 2 more Stealth Force Vehicles (Leadfoot & Roadbuster) and 1 more Beast Machines Vehicle (Lockdown), which may have already been bought, or are released in wave 2 with other themed series vehicles.

Not sure why we now have 3 Crumplezone Speedstars cars now - it's almost as if it were originally meant to be a character in TF3.

The old lady staff member I spoke to was either really tired, or just rude... I tried being really nice, because I know to her I was just a grown up looking for kids toys for myself. Kmart Browns Plains had almost 40 of the last assortment of Generations toys, with all 5 figures still available. No HA Sideswipes yet.
BigW there had some older figures though - Thunderwing, Red Alert, Skullgrin.
Target didn't have any Ultimate Primes yet.

Half the Legions toys were Bumblebees (4-5 deep) next to the rest that were only about 2 deep. And all the Voyagers left there were Optimus. Just a little too many of the two main Autobots in the early waves... hmmm?

TRU Pacific Fair now has Masterpiece Rodimus Prime, with TRU exclusive stickers, for only $79.99

Given this price, it will likely sell out quick. When I went back in the afternoon there were two less of them, and I bought one for myself.
Given that I'd paid nearly one fifty for Grimlock just six months earlier,I am just floored by how much "markup" must have been on masterpiece figures earlier.

Also, and here's the strangest thing, when I opened mine a set of sticker decals fell out. I can see the shoulder strips for Hot Rod, but weirdly there was an Autobot AND a Decepticon logo on the sheet as well, and nothing about it in the instruction pamphlet. I don't ever remember Rodimus turning evil in the cartoon or comic fiction, so it seems bizarre to have a decpticon logo decal. And even an autobot one, as his faction logo is pained on already.

Big W CBD has the new Star Wars scout sized Transformers for $15.64, they are pretty small though (a bit smaller than the size of previous scouts but bigger than the current Commanders). Only the two styles there with about three of each.

Kmart has a bunch of the human alliance sideswipe and icepick sets along with a bunch of generations (but no scourge).
Toys R Us has 6 Rodimus on the shelf, and 10 more on overstock, along with Jetwing Prime.
Myer has a few rts items.left (but overpriced at $35 each) and also the activators? megatron and topspin.
Target was useless, no stock of voyagers, jetwing prime or any Lego advertised.

TRU Garden City have 24 Rodimus toys in their system, but not on shelves yet (so they are either in the shipment they just got in, or it's in transit to them).
They also had the TFs Playdoh set for $30.

Headed out to Robina today, Target had some of the Rescue Bots - the human packs and Bumblebees garage. Kmart had a couple of Scourge on the shelf, but otherwise all stores pretty boring.

They did have MP Starscram for $90 but that came home with me.

I spied a new Transformers item (and the first DOTM one!) at my local
Woolworths today. Its a Transformers Dark of the Moon "Mystery Bag".
Each bag, from what I read, contains up to five items, out of a selection
including stickers, badges, jigsaw puzzles, squishie balls, plastic ten pin bowing, tattoos, etc.

While the items probably won't be of interest to many, unless you have kids, its wonderful to see a kid-friendly package like this. We missed out on a Transformers Dark of the Moon showbag at the Ekka this year (only a knock off transforming robots bag with artwork of Armada minicons), so hopefully it will make some (not so big!) kids happy.

Cut back on the collecting for awhile, but still kept up with the fiction.

Purchased some AEC stuff, while still getting G1 re-issues/originals I didn't have.

Alternators really got me excited again, and then it re-blossomed, and recemented fully by the time of Classics 1.0
