Having watched the vid now, I am more than just a little interested, but they were all excited about re-vamping Sonic with that abomination entitled "Sonic The Hedgehog" that cam out on 360 and Ps3. Thats why it wasn't called Sonic Adventure 3. They wanted to start afresh. Man that game was crap, I played in the instore demo and thought it sucked. If a demo makes you think it sucks, how bad must the game be? Then a mate bought it for $20 and let me have a go. AAARGH! It was THE worst SOnic game I have played and I have played them all except for Sonic Riders (for obvious reasons...):p

Im guessing i shoud post it here, anyway i recieved a copy of PS1 Metal Gear Solid to play on my PS2, and it wont let me save the game on my PS2 memory card? do i need to have a PS1 memory card to save the game. And will a PS1 memory card even work on a PS2?

Hey I have M.O.H Heroes 2 for PSP and I was registering for EA account for the online. I put in Australia, it says it must be 5 characters for the post code, but we only have 4 so what's the problem there? Also it asks for a persona, what's a persona?

I'm guessing persona would mean a gamertag, or nickname for your character in the game.

Have you tried puting a 0 in front of the postcode to make it 5 digits? If not just put 90210.:o

Gt myself Alien Vs Predator for my PS3. Having never played AVP before (just the awesome Alien trilogy on my Saturn) I must admit, I am enjoying the experience so far. I read a review that complained about how the sounds were the same as the movie ones and very little was new. But that is exactly what I want, the ping of the motion tracker, the funky noise the pulse rifle makes, alien noises and predator's stealth cloak.

So far, the gore level is fairly low. SUre you can bite peoples heads as an alien and rip them off as a Pred, but in regards to the R Rtaing it almost got, from my experiences so far, its nothing extreme. I would probably put it in the higher end of the MA rating, but the frequency of head ripping is so low and happens so fast, I would query the decision to give it an R (not the we have on), jut like SEGA did. Good on them I say!

Only 9 days until the closure of the discussion paper. I hope that many people have filled one out and sent it in. It all counts.

I would put AVP into an R rating IF we had one. Some of those Predator Trophy kills are quite full on, I love it how after ripping out the head & spinal column, he holds up the face and gently strokes it, madness! Its perfect in every way!.

I can't wait to read some of the reviews that bad mouth it, I wanna know what they don't like about it, game play wise it hasn't evolved since the first 2, but it didn't need to, they were really well made games.

I got Mass Effect 2 and Revenge of the Fallen for 360 for my birthday (I'd been eyeing RotF for a while). Mass Effect 2 is alright so far - the graphics are really crisp, but the environments are too much like KOTOR2 (Bioware's other big space RPG title) for me to really buy into it.

RotF is reasonably fun - I'm playing as G1 Starscream or Sunstorm in a lot of the SP missions because I've been reading a lot of the old Dreamwave comics in the last month and that's the state of mind that I'm in. Multiplayer is good fun - I'm usually Bumblebee on the Autobots or Sideways on the Decepticons (snipers for the win).

Re Alan Wake - what's the point of making it a 360 exclusive? I thought half the draw was that it would require some obscene amount of processing and graphics power to render the world, the weather, and the people all in real time and with obscene detail. Power that the 360 doesn't have.

I think it's just a case of Microsoft being greedy ****s (as we know console versions are always more expensive than their PC counterparts). I'm sure they'll release it on PC eventually, but not before they've made however many extra Xbox 360/360 Alan Wake sales because of the exclusivity...

I got a little further into the Pred story and decided yeh, this is pretty full on stuff in this game. I see the reasons why it was intially refised. Anyway, Yay we got it.

As for the bad mouthing reviews, none that I have read give it a complete panning, but a couple of issues I have come across that are a little annoying with the controls specifically. The aliens campaign has you pressing a button to allow movement from one surface to another (eg flor to wall) but it doesn't always work that way. The Pred, the option to leap is hard to judge what can be lept without using the leap button and targeter. SOme things look leapable, but when you try it apparently cant.

Not to sound like a PC elitist (love my PS3 :D) but I can't imagine playing an AvP game on a console. If anything requires twitch controls (esp for the multi), it's this game.

It works surprisingly well, only the marine is hit hardest without a mouse/keyboard combo. But in ALIENS vs PREDATOR, the marine is an after thought IMO.

PS3's all over the world are bricking today bcoz of and leap year programming error. So far its just the 'Fat' consoles. Apparently there's a sync error with the psn.

Error code is 8001050F. You can't connect to PS Network but you can still browse online with the PS3. WTF right?

Bioshock was an awesome game to play. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Got called in to work today on my day off, so instead of getting paid for the few hours the boss gave me 'Final Fantasy XIII' for the PS3. Should have seen the grin on my face. About to finish Chapter 2, and apart from a toilet break and posting this, I haven't been able to tear myself away from the screen since I got home. This game frakking rules. :D

Sucks I have to work for the next five days otherwise I wouldn't leave the house.

I just got Sonic and Sega allstars racing. Not bad at all. Pretty good fun although obviously a great homage to mario kart, but it is copied well. Lots of fun and REALLY fast! Have noticed a bit of the jerks going on in the PS3 version when things get hectic, the only let down so far.

They have included some cool characters that I was pleased about. I had a little fangasm to discover that Fanatsy Zone's Opa-opa was a playable character. They have lots of nods to other Sega franchises in the trophies (altered beats, afterburner, outrunners, wonderboy etc) but it wuld have been better for there to be less Sonic Characters and others istead. I mean they included Big the Cat... WTF?!??? I would have much preferred Ax Battler/Tyrus Flare or Wonderboy, or even the Daytona car (which before you laugh was playable in Fighters Megamix). The ninja from Shinobi would have been pretty cool too.

Aside from that though, the game is ace. Sixaxis control for those who like it like that and lots o people can play. I also picked up the DS version coz it was $40 and its very stipped down. Compared to DS Mario Kart, Mario is superior, but that would have been developed from scratch, not just as a port. Still fun, online works well, just grphics cut down somewhat, but if that was the only you had played it would be fine.

I got Sega All-Stars Racing on 360 today, its good fun so far, I am disappointed that Sonic dominates the character and track choices, but its great start to a (hopefully) new series. the items suck (visually, they work fine on a mechanically) with such a rich history to draw upon its sad to see generic missiles and boxing gloves.

My PS3 phat has long suffered with a problem whereby the fan goes nuts after about 15 minutes - even if just watching a DVD. So yesterday I pulled the thing to pieces, removed the factory thermal paste from the CPU & GPU (I got to see the CELL, ooooh ahhhh) and applied some Arctic Silver 5. Slapped it all back together, crossed my fingers and started playing a DVD. Once again the fans impersonate a harrier jet after 15 minutes, just like clockwork. :( Just ordered a Thermaltake USB fan which I'm going to try and use to suck heat from the back of the PS3, will see if this helps at all!

Anyone else had any fan noise issues with their PS3's (I hear even some Slim's have this problem)?

I havent noticed the fan going nuts on my slim, unless I have had it on all day. A quick touch and I notice that the PS3 can get really hot, so I have an uchiwa (hand fan) to blow some air onto it as its in a cabinet.

I've noticed some frame-rate drops on the 360, but they aren't jerky, its appears to go from 60fps to 30fps on occasion, its barely noticeable.

Oh, yeh, thats what I meant. Its till playable and doesnt affect the game at all, just looks sloppy. Rarely happens though. Just wanted to check if both versions did it.

Watch when you kill the centaur, his intestines spill out!:D Also when you rip off that guys head, there are some arteries(I guess) that wobble around! And Kratos gets covered in blood when it sprays on him. I am tempted, but I can wait.

I might get the first 2 on PS3 first.

To be honest, I don't know. I didn't really look at those. I know I have some e.g. 50 kills with AK47, but I couldn't give an exact figure on how many I unlocked.

You do get access to unlimited ammo and one-shot kills when you finish the game. You can actually buy the rocket launcher and walk around with it :D The game won't let you use this unlock during the 'tank' level though...

No sign of towns, NPC's chat to or even shops. Looks to be lacking fun and I think it would be overflowing in tedium and therefore I would be struggling to bother with it.

I hope its not like that considering the budget they had to make it. The graphics were excellent, but the gamepley looked drab. Its not all like that is it?

Bought a copy of Thief: Deadly Shadows from ebay (PC version). :D Finally, I'll be able to see what all the fuss is about re: this Shalebridge Cradle level, supposedly one of the most disturbing/frightening levels in any game. Bring it on!

TC... NPC chats are more like running over to them and listening in. You don't really interact with them.

In terms of towns, I haven't got (that far) to Gran Pulse yet but there are towns in chapter 11 I think (only at chapter 4).

There's even chocobo riding! and treasure digging!

From the current experience, the battles seems to get more technical and in-depth.

One more thing, chapters seems to be longer and longer (ie. Chapter 1 took me 1hr, Chapter 2 I think was around 2.5hrs, Chapter 3 was 4hrs, Chapter 4 has taken me so far... 5hrs)

All this talk about new games got me thinking, I want to play all the old games I used to i.e. DOS Games. Thanks to my good friend Hursticon, I can :D

Played a bit of Halloween Harry, gave up coz I couldn't do it lol.

But best of all, I got to play BLOOD :D:D:D:D This game is still freakin awesome. I love all the horror movie in-jokes, such as when you first start and rise from the grave, your character says "I live again" from Army of Darkness. And you go through the level and end up in Morningside Mortuary from Phantasm. I could go on, but argh I love this game.

After I finish this I might go play Monster Bash (little kid in pijamas killing the undead with his sling shot trying to save all the pets) or maybe something else lol. So much nostalgic awesomeness.

God Jill of the Jungle, I haven't played that in so long ay, I gotta try hunt that one down as well. CK was difficult, I remember swearing at the computer alot of times because it was hard, when I recentley played them lol. Captain Comic is difficult as well, but god they are fun. Damn I wish they would release all these retro games for Windows XP or something.

The game I want them to release the most is Star Wars: X-wing, and/or Tie-fighter, those were awesome fight sims. I feel old just thinking about all of this :p

The amount of effort I went to so I could play early Ultima games was incredible! I had the game, then I dl'ed DOSbox (dos emulator) then since I didn't know any DOs commands, I had to get Dos shell. 2 progs for a game from the 80's! But it works a treat and can run on Vista as well.

Luckily for me there is a good prg for Ultima VII called Exult which does a great job of running it on newer computers. Then I discovered Ultima V Lazarus which uses the Dungeon siege game to play through Ultima 5. Nicely done as well, and its free (but you have to have a copy of Dungeon siege.)

Played the first few levels of GoW3 last night. Very impressed with it. The graphics are incredible, perhaps even better than Uncharted 2. Action wise, it is the most violent game I have played in a long time. Can't wait to get stuck into it this weekend.

Yeah i have. All textures are shiny and smooth. Framerate is smooth. Better controls due to the dual sticks. If you were a fan of the original than you have to buy it. Now with online multiplayer, you can't go wrong. but overall it just looks so much better and runs so much smoother.

I'd never played it on N64, but considering it's just female Goldeneye with a lot of the same multiplayer levels, I loved it. Also because I had a 23-kill streak in one of the 4-player matches. :D

If it weren't for Mario Galaxy 2 and the best version of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories I would have thrown my Wii onto ebay a long time ago. Consoles are defined by their games and when you sit the Wii next to its competition it's an incredibly average system with predictable games, waggle or not. Sony is now just scraping the icing off an already stale cake, and what's more, they're adding extra tiers and candles. And Naughty Dog expect/want the PS3 to be around for at least another 5 years. Think Wii will last that long (factoring in its weak third party support)? Who knows, maybe all the non-gamers will keep the dream alive. ;)

The biggest problem I have had with SS and HG is that once you defeat the elite four there are very few areas to continue training in order to gain levels to rival the gym trainers in Kanto. The Kanto wild pokemon only end up being levels 3-30 or so, and with not that many trainers worth retraining, you'll be spending alot of time on victory road battling the wild pokemon (great for Feralgatr).

My brother in law has been waxing lyrical about GoW3, and how many times he has needed to change pants because of how good it is.

I started SoulSilver on Friday, my last game save is 20 hours and 2 minutes and I'm on the S.S. Aqua. Some days have been without play but some I can get in a few hours on end.

I traded over a Lv.1 Bulbasaur and Totodile from 'Diamond' straight away and pretty much did the entire Johto region with them, Cyndaquil and Mareep. Bulbasaur was the only one I didn't evolve, for the sole reason I don't want to, and the others I only did once they'd learnt their final moves. For the Elite Four I swapped out for Lugia, Raikou, Entei and Dragonair and traded over an Arceus.

Yeah you bread any pokemon besides certain pokemon like legendarys and non sex pokemon's

The wild dog levels are insanely good for when you can catch them, and even Lugia is no slouch. the lvl 70 Ho-oh and the ruby/sapphire legendaries are pains to catch due to their levels, and beating Red is a true challenge.

You know me so well. :p Unfortunately I was never able to get one on Diamond, and considering you can only find Houndour on Route 7 in Kanto, I've had to wait. He's the last Dark I need to finish off the collection.

The problem is going to be getting Rayquaza. Ruby and Emerald are the only games I never played so I've never had any of the legendaries from that series, and they've made it ridicously annoying to get him in this game. I wonder too if Nintendo will offer Wi-fi Events for guys like Jirachi and Deoxys.

If memory serves, you have to get the R/S legendary from your game, and get the other legendary from the other game into the one game in order to get rayquaza.
Not an easy task to do without buying both games, but much easier than getting a bonus Sinnoh legendary.

I got the twin pad when I got my wii last week. Works more or less fine for me. I was a bit worried at first as one charger went green, the other stayed red for another hour, but another hour or so the next day, it came green.

Gave house of the dead a blast today, (the overkill hand cannon is awesome), got them back on the mat, same again, one is green, the other still red, will check later.

Does it charge on the pad with regular rechargeables in the remotes? Or does it need the packs the pad came with? (I think they have a metal induction plate in them).

Actually I would want em' to be on DS Platform because GBA graphics and audio are terrible... the DS will top everything of with it's 3d engine and make a masterpiece of the Hoen region.

Steel? All you need is fire. :) IIRC the hardest one is the 2nd one, the steelix. Just melt that mutha. I also don't like the steel element, seems strong against nothing. Steel claw is the most useless move ever, hardly any damage, and magnet bomb, it's shit. Sorry for the rant, I just find steel to be the most useless element. It can take damage, that's it. Wanna attack with it, forget it. I came across this steel "problem" back in platinum, and it's still crap.

I finally caught raikou and entri and got the 8th badge. If anyone wants to know how, (catch the legendaries), let me know. 8th badge was a walk in the park. Gyarados with that one particular move......

Currently leveling up to beat the kimono girls. Jolteon got me as I had no ground types with me. Otherwise I think the hardest one was the first one, the dark one.

Neither Krabby nor Kingler can learn Rock Climb.

Krabby and Hoothoot got me through Johto. Hoothoot for Fly, Krabby for Surf, Strength, Cut and Rock Smash. I taught a Tentacool Surf as well once I did Whirl Islands so I could also fit in Whirlpool and Waterfall for later on.

Now I'm in Kanto I've brought over my Staraptor from Diamond because he has Fly but I also use him to fight, and I have Machop with Rock Climb along with Smash and Strength. I just switch it up with Krabby when need be.

EDIT: For those that don't know what entails 3.21 release and as Kyle mentioned, Sony has removed the ability for old PS3 owners (ie. fat PS3, not slim PS3) to install Linux (or Other OS) on another partition.

I thought, this must be a April Fools joke (it was released on the 1st April).

No doubt they will be heaps of old PS3 owners kicking a stint for disabling a unique feature.

For me, I hadn't done the firmware upgrade just yet until they put out another firmware as a .01 release isn't going to stop me from playing games offline.

My console is the old version with the ability to install an alternate operating system such as Linux. I thought it was annoying that Sony is forcing old users to remove a feature that was included with the purchase of their console. Sony did offer the option to back out of this update, but then all the network functions will no longer work! So either way, whatever you do, you have feature/functions removed from you. I hope they won't ask me to remove my PS2 backward compatibility next. :(

I did go ahead with the update though, as I won't ever need to install an alternate operating system. I actually had no idea what actual new features this update brought to my console... :o

Apparently you couldn't even have the option to install linux on the slim anyway. They removed it due to it being very close to hacking into the core system, so they pre-empted it and got rid of it. Reports are that it was too slow running linux anyway, and you couldn't really do that much with it. Plus really, it would be only like 10 out of all the users that would be affacted anyway. Out of all the noise, noone used that option to seriously use it as a linux box.

And fairly simple to play too. Gotta get more than 20 minutes to play so that I can start career mode. Only way the Knights will make the 8 this year! :p

For Silver and Gold, I used Noctowl for Flash/Fly, Slowbro for Surf, whirlpool, stength and Waterfall (Surf really only used for transport) and Meganium for cut, rock smash and strength. Ferligatr has surf and waterfall for everyday non dungeon use.
I find with Johto that you can choose a TM slave to suit whatever dungeon you are entering, rather than the wonderful Bibarel in P/D/Plat.

Finally solved the 'my 40GB PS3 Phat sounds like a wailing banshee' problem!

I once again stripped the PS3 down to the mobo then applied Arctic Silver 5 to the CPU and GPU, this time using the 'line method' of application. End result? A near silent PS3! :D Last time I tried fixing this issue I put a paper thin coat of AS5 on the CPU and GPU but I later found out this method is useless as the chips don't make contact with the heatsink. Playing games/watching BD's now without the sound of a hairdryer in the background is pure bliss...Now to install a 500GB HDD and buy Play-TV!

It looks shoddy, there are jaggies everywhere. I think they should have either stuck to the same style or redone the engine, coz i'd rather it look pretty.

I think the jaggies might be from it being zoomed in a little. I'd say it's hit the texture memory limit to be ds/dsl compatible. They should release a memory card for the gb slot with it, although I already have a 32mb memory expansion that came with my ds real, so it is possible.

Having the R/S/E legendaries available near the end of the game only makes me realise how much cooler the Silver and Gold legendaries are.

And Red is an absolute son of a ***** to beat if you dont do any outside trades, as levelling up is painful, and he has blizzard and whatnot on top of a mountain...

Black and white is a nice lazy step backwards in terms of naming from the girly diamond and pearl. :p
The whole "3D" thing is just a retake on the "dimension" place in platinum.

My 2nd XBOX 360 in 5 years died yesterday. It had the Red Rings Of Death and got repaired. Now it suffered the Green Screen of Death :confused:

Instead of suffering, I went out and purchased a new Xbox 360 Elite from Gametraders. As they are a family owned business, for $459 you got the Xbox 360, Forza Motorsport 3 / Halo 3 ODT as a pack, Assasins Creed 2 and a Xbox 360 charging stand.

I asked if I could forgoe Assassins Creed 2, pay $5 and get Final Fantasy on the PS3 to keep my girlfriend happy. They said yes....

NOTE - I purchased the PS3 version so we will not argue about who plays the 360!

Overall disappointing, but what can you do!

I have too many peripherals for the 360 to turn my back on it....

Man that rrod is a spectacular fail from micrsoft. You'd think after all these years they would have been able to sort it out. IMO since its a design fault, surely even after the xbox is out of warranty they should fix it. After all they are selling a flawed item in the first place.

On a happier not, I have been playing Dark Void. I was interested in it from the start, but the demo and reviews only made it feel like an average game. Lickily I bought it for $30 from kmart. That was a much more ameanable price and I am enjoying it.

The game has the old duck and cover system as core game play, but you can forego it and use your jetpack. Fights consist of this thinking.. "Man this is tough, baddies all over the place.... Oh, hang on a sec! I have a jetpack!" Crazy flying and strafing stunts then ensue with my flying the dude all over the place.

Great stuff for $30!!:D

That has some nice 2.5D going on - i especially liked the 'blast possuming' line in the trailer! The original was a good game, though i seem to remember it being a tad difficult (was there a huge robot 1 on 1 scene at some point? Maybe i'm thinking of Megaman X2?)

Does anyone here ever play fighting games online? Man, i have HAD IT with online fighters. Even with my ADSL2 connection i'm still stuck with 1-2 bar opponents on SF4 if i'm lucky. Even when the match is seemingly running smooth, there's still that minute bit of lag that's enough to screw up all the timings a game like this hinges on. I just had a losing streak against one of the lamest players; repeating the same bloody obvious tactics over and over, yet all my attempts at punishing were met with delay and mistakes. There's nothing more frustrating than eating fireball after fireball because of delayed blocking or jumps. TOTAL JUNK! IMO they shouldn't even bother putting online into these games, it just turns a highly technical game into a pile of crap.

Tets, we definitely have to make a more regular thing of local get-togethers (and you need to buy VF5 and Tekken 6 since it seems no one plays them but me!) I took your advice and am getting that joystick from AmiAmi btw, so 2p arcade style gaming is on the table for SSF4 launch!

Yeh, Blast possming got a chuckle from me too! I think the game was quite hard as well. I remember having to cheat to finish the first one and the sequel (called "Sparkster" after the name of the main character) had the 1 on 1 robot fighting was very tricky to play. The SNES version was muh different to the megadrive one as well, which is a bit of info I find interesting.

I am tired of 1 on 1 online fighting. Been trying to paste some chumps on Tatsunoko v Cap, but using the classic controller is a pain when fighting some noob with the normal controller and their 1 button combo into aerial into super. Menawhile, I am trying to quarter circle punch and some lag gets in there and cancels my quater circling.

Only had a tiny bit of trouble on SFIV, but tend to avoid it a lttle due to recieving serious kickings of the buttocks for some reason....

Sorry Kurdt, Tekken aint my cup o tea. Virtua fighter on the other hand....

In the old days of PS1 vs Saturn, the Saturn's below average arcade conversions led me and my mate to PS1 - and thus Tekken prior to VF. I played a bit of Tekken 1, but a lot more of Tekken 2. I could never really get into it since i'd been playing SF for so long. The first few games had those enormous jumps and fricken huge damage! I also had a problem with continoually getting beaten while you were down! Tekken 3 fixed some of that, but by that time i was in N64 land!

When i got a PS2 very late in it's life, i hunted out Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution on the strength of it's reviews and with a desire to finally 'get' 3d fighting games, since 2d was seemingly dead. VF4Evo has without a doubt, the best training modes of any fighting game. It makes me wonder why fighting games don't have more than just a 'move list', since i find it odd that developers spend years perfecting minute aspects of the gameplay and then just *hope* players figure out all the intricacies.

I was never any good at 3d fighters until i learned VF4, but once i was better, i felt like trying Tekken again, and sure enough it comes more naturally now. That's how good VF4Evo's training mode is, it actually makes you better at ALL fighting games! Tekken 6 still has some of those 'problems' of the originals, but it seems like those are just it's defining characteristics now.. ie juggles, bounds etc. After 15 years i can finally accept it :eek: The games have so many characters now, just trying them all out presents load of value for money. It's also a lot more fun to play the game on a joystick instead of a pad like i did in the PS1 era.

VF5 is now my preferred fighting game/series, but after trying once to play it online, i'll never try again. So if anyone in Perth plays at all, hit me up on PM! Contrary to popular belief, i think the VF series is a lot easier to play/learn than other fighters. SF4 in particular, i have a big problem with the difficult of executing FADC moves :(

With SF4, if you are using a wireless connection, you will almost never get a decent connection with online players. Using a wired setup is the way to go when playing SF4 online.

Only a few more things to get in the Japanese version of HG, then I can start playing the game in English, so I finally can find out about and use all the new additions! :D

Yea, I accidently killed snorlax the first time with a move that was too effective. I think I criticaled him with typhosions flame thrower. Luckily I found him a few days later further down the road, so I made sure to finish him with scythers (now scizors), false swipe. :) But yea, was a PITA to catch.

Thats pretty awesome. The Tets is most definately gettiing this one, I loved both 1 & 2. I just hope that they keep some classic Capcom chars. I would LOVE to have Arthur as a playable character, up from his support role in MVC1 and a lovely polygon form for Strider Hiryu would make me a happy chappy indeed.

I just havent connected to some of Capcom's more recent charcters like I did with the old.

Looks like a comic might be in the works as well, considering how they intend to put a story to it.

I loved the Capcom series of Marvel games back in the day....

X-Men vs Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes, Marvel vs Capcom 1 & 2.

They were quality games which when a licenced comic product is involved rarely occurs e.g Iron Man (though Batman: Arkham Asylum was pretty good).

I remember playing MVC 1 & 2 to death on my Dreamcast. I didn't know another sequel was in the pipeworks so this was the best news ever. My dream is still for Capcom to do a Marvel Vs DC crossover (fanboy drool!) but highly unlikely but not too unrealistic considering the comic crossovers they've had.

I too haven't connected with recent Capcom characters so would like some of the oldies such as Arthur to have a more prominent role.

Super-Skrull and Deadpool look like good choices. Though I hope they bring in more new blood instead of just bringing back the main cast line up from the previous games.

Super SF 4 should be out very soon too right? SSF4 and MvC3 will both go on my list of first games to buy when I get my PS3. I just hope MvC3 isn't as hard to get as MvC2 was.

I love using Deadpool in Ultimate Alliance 2. When I was playing it, my wife would laugh at his comments. Although with all the intense action going on she couldn't work out which character was saying the funny lines

Well with the advent of online play and add on packs, hopefully the cast of 30 in MVC3 will extend out even further with unlockables and content to purchase.

Would love to see Iron Fist vs Ryu :D
