I personally never saw Overlord in stores, but there have been isolated anecdotal accounts of people who said they saw it. Same with the Ultra Transmetal 2s, MP Skywarp and Thundercracker -- I've personally never seen these toys in stores, but there have been accounts of sightings. IIRC there were also photos posted of MP Thundercracker on shelves too. Aaah, if only we had mobile phones with cameras in 1991 (oh, and the internet to upload it on... heh... of course, it'd take me quite some time to download a single image on my old 8k dialup modem at the time ).
