Hasbro AU are generally unwilling to help in the case of lost or missing accessories. They expect you to just buy a new one.

That could have changed since 2008/9 though.

So do TakaraTOMY; their initial response is to take the toy back to the store and get an exchange. And I don't blame them for this; it is the most expedient way to resolve the issue. But once I explain that although the toy was purchased in Japan but I'm in Australia, they're more than happy to help.

I've never needed to approach Hasbro AU for replacement parts (it's easier just to exchange/refund the toy at the shops), but based on my previous experiences w/ Hasbro's customer service "generally unwilling" is very much a description that I would agree with.

Now Soundwave is in the background providing the music and instead of this every other Transformer has decided to join in and twerk on Hursti's desk.

I did it once for my Deluxe Arcee, first live action movie, and just wanted the missile. I was happy to pay for it, but they wouldn't have a bar of it. Taught me a valuable lesson about buying things while on holiday.

More companies should really be looking to Lego, and how they handle this sort of thing.

Are Blackarachnia (Animated) and Airachnid (Prime) essentially the same character or are they different. Didn't they both used to be Elita-1 or just one of them?

No and no. Only Animated Blackarachnia is an ex-Autobot. Airachnid's always been a Decep.

Correction - Animated Blackarachnia WAS Elita-1 (spoiler)
They are indeed different characters, due to being in different series... but it could be claimed that Airachnid was based off the original Blackarachnia character from BW, which Animated homaged as well, but Hasbro ended up giving it a new name instead - possibly to differentiate this "evil female spider" from the previous two versions.

    Thanks
I remember seeing that flashback where she was Elita-1 but couldn't remember wether it was from Animated or Prime show. I'm looking at buying my first animated toy (Blackarachnia) but they seem hard to find and very expensive.
