PRE order opens 8.30 pm est 12th july.

We have been monitoring social media and forums and seems due to the large number of sources showing a high number purchases from OS,

We are going to increase the limit per person to 2.

this should be good value compared to buying a couple from overseas.

and only 1 supplier run so we will have our stock around the same time as HK dealers.

They must be getting plenty if they have 2 per person limit. It would be a shame for regular customers to miss out because others are getting 2 each.

Yeah well since it appears this is going to be Hasbro Asia release stock, not the TTMall exclusive stock, it shouldn't be particularly scarce. But PC has said before that once they hit about ~200 units the shipping becomes cost prohibitive so they probably have a cap somewhere around there.

I'm not getting Skywarp as I already have it but I need further clarification on this for future orders. If I purchased 2 Skywarp's and used a $25 discount code would PC cancel the order? I don't see the issue.....1st Skywarp gets the $25 discount and the 2nd I pay full price. Am I missing something?

To me it feels like a way to stop people buying larger quantities of popular items at a discounted rate (at already good prices) and flogging them off for more.

Yes, there was a big issue about the energon points system being abused. PC's response was to limit the use of points to one item transactions only. I don't intend on rehashing reasons, they are dealt with earlier in this thread.

They've had some guys exploiting the system - something to do with bulk buying and exploiting how the energon points generated. So PC restricted the use of points quantities of 1 stock item.

Realistically it doesnt hurt us long term, you will still use your points. Say for eg you buy 2 of everything then just use the points on general release toys and make 2 orders of one of each (MP inferno for eg) since you know it wont be an instant sellout.

To be honest, I don't see how this should ever be an issue, given that (apart from their ZipPay thing), funds are required up front, months before something gets into the buyer's hands. Quite frankly, if I've paid for something, I've earned the points and at that point it should be up to the buyer to choose how to use them.

Especially if I've paid for something that I may not receive for half a year.

That said, it's their system and I don't really have a problem with it, I just fail to see how the new measures have any real benefit to the system.

I think the zip pay system was what allowed the exploitation to take place, so they chose to tighten the usage of the rewards system rather than remove a payment option

Uh oh - time to send an email to ask for this for all my pre-orders...

Does anybody know how long it takes for VIP status to be issued after making the $5k worth of purchases? Think I'm about $100 short now after Skywarp.

No just the usual paper, which is better than nothing but not as good as bubblewrap for example.

Ok I'm going to start a poll in the Discussion section to see how many of us would like this to be an option. If there is enough support then I will email PC with the poll results. Free market research for them!

I was just looking at a post on fb asking the same thing now it has dawned on me that they advertised it with a coin so unfortunately it means they are supplying the hasbro Asia re-release. Which probably means I'll be selling mine when it arrives as I already have it.

What's the difference other than the coin? The only other thing I can think of is the Hasbro Asia version maybe doubletaped due to insertion of the Chinese manual.

For what it's worth the BBTS and TF Source listings both state that they may/will be double taped. Those also come with the coin. I ordered mine from TTM so it would be strange if something released in Japan had the Chinese manual inserted but I guess we will see.

They are the same items..

Some people just freak about the double tapes on the Hasbro Asian one as they might insert the Chinese manual, which broke the MISB state.

By the way, the TT mall exclusive seeker would have a sticker on the box indicating it is the xxxth of 2,000 limited copy. The hasbro Asian one would not have this sticker..

so troublesome... they should have fixed the problem with the zip pay systems and not cause other users problems.

Or maybe discount only apply after final zip payment or something like that, or if you cancel you void your energon voucher and points, or voucher not for zip payment users

Now over a week and 4 days respectively since I've emailed P.C with no reply. I get that they're expanding and all, but when you're actively trying to reach buyers through an increased social media presence without properly serving your existing customers, it's rather frustrating.

When can we expect a customer service expansion/ overhaul, as it's pretty annoying that I'm unable to use my VIP status discount until my emails get responded to?

I really don't feel like I should have to continually hound you on Facebook, Twitter and now Instagram that seems to have become the norm to receive a reply within 48 hours.

This thread is not really winning me over.
Seems less like online shopping and more like online lotto.:)
I've tried unsuccessfully for two months to actually buy something from PC. But everything sells the moment they have it, listings never get updated (not that I can see anyhow) and I've had enough. I won't visit the site again or attempt to buy anything, it's just a big waste of time checking there.

"Expanding?" How about have a functional service where people can actually but stuff, and not just the same existing customers who already buy everything before anyone else has a chance at it?

Great for the handful of loyal customers, and great for a business to sell its inventory and not be left with unwanted stock etc. Good business model I guess, but not good customer service when it takes an unaffiliated forum thread to even explain to new customers how to actually but stuff, well that's a customer service fail in my book.

When I go on ebay I click buy, pay and stuff arrives. Simple.

At PC I can't buy anything, nothings in stock and listings don't update.
This is my last whinge, thanks to people who were helpful in this thread.
I won't post in here again, I'm glad you guys get to enjoy your toys etc, but for everyone else, not so good.

If the stock is just now and forever limited small amount PC, put that on the front page and market yourself as the ultra-niche-hardcore-website of choice, so regular joe customers who stumble across the website don't waste their time.

Well I'm off to buy toys on actual sites where I can buy things then.
Peace :)

Fair comment. I see it more of an inventory issue if anything. For the popular items they dont keep enough stock on hand nor do they restock items so customers like you will lose out. For the hardcore fans on this forum most of us are happy to pay the cheapest price possible and that means monitoring release dates and putting up with delays.

DaptoDog
16th July 2016, 07:31 PM
Batfan, that is one hell of a serve but it is not undeserving. Certainly, while you will pay more (at current exchange rates) buying from the large US and Japan/HK sites, their service at the current time is superior to PC so you will be satisfied.

I think the more experienced members here have seen PC's incredible growth in the last couple years and have noticed improvement. There is certainly plenty of areas that PC can still stand to improve in as detailed by your post. I am optimistic they will get there eventually.

In the end this is a hobby and so it should be enjoyable. Happy collecting!

We note some comments being made by members here becoming slightly more negative. Customers and Non Customers.

I really do take feedback from current customers seriously but

I do not respond to individual customers on the forum publicly.
we have several avenues in place that can support anything a member is unsure about or feels is not making their experience a happy one

going forward we will just keep any posts strictly to any news we have regarding upcoming pre orders or items that might be about to land.

it is too difficult to follow and participate in a live debate on one forum,
so we will try to remain consistent with our news and maintaining a presence

We will always remain of the view the majority of OTCA users who have been purchasing from PC support the business and understand how it operarates and in most cases order something, and they get it, Which is what service we are providing at very competitive pricing.

Debates about inventory and missing out on products is not something that will change with the level of demand we receive.

We have nearly always given members a heads up that an item is going to list for pre order.

I note many of you must see this as it seems the same members are always one of the first to get in on our pre orders without fail.

I think in most cases for a local retailer to be importing 200 odd transformers is quite a large stock amount for a online independant store to be importing.

you go beyond these numbers and you then would have to ship 100 percent of your stuff via SEA, which is why many times when you look at the major retailers they take longer than overseas to get stock in.

There is no point in a Restock for our business as there is no profit or demand for it as it seems only small percentage of customers would be willing to wait that long for a restock when it could be imported within days.

nor is there enough demand for restock to be worth doing.

I will touch on 2 points and I know this will upset a few of the members but it is just how we have always operated.

If you are not happy with our terms and conditions, and feel they are not acceptable,

we are in a free marketplace, where you dont not need to buy from us , but we also can decide to no longer sell to you if you ignore our terms of sale.

It is unfortunate this even needs to be said, but it seems

alot of the negativity is coming from not agreeing with our terms and conditions and missing out on stock because it was not ordered after we sent news it was becoming available

I feel both of these issues can be avoiding by keeping an on the information that we provide, here, social media and via customer service.

. I read many comments in the forum but never see alot emails coming through to customer service or online contact forms, asking these questions.

I have put the address on quite a few posts, and happy to do so again.

cservice@premiumcollect.com.au. it is not premiumcollectables.com.au for the customer service email.

I note the amount of orders we get from this forum is long and and many times repeat. And I have made comment on the fact the group contributed to the success we had in our very early days.

it also helped improve our access to products like exclusives etc.

something that is not at all supported locally.

I hope there will be even greater benefits of the members efforts once the GST on imports changes in 2017. I have already made comments regarding this earlier this year. But it will give the members who support local even cheaper pricing compared to overseas buying.

many of the suggestions I see and read from members. if some were implemented it would lead to something I think no members would want.

And that is pricing increase. I continually try and keep that a point of difference between us and elsewhere and the things we have in place now
allow this to be maintained.

We know for every 100 customers we have who are happy , it will be the minority who have issue with how we do things that will make the most noise.

I have made concessions recently, such as restricting numbers of TTMALL product to provide a fairer dispatch service so customers who order 4 months after the initial pre order can expect items close to when the original pre orders go live. But we cannot always change the way a business runs for the small number it upsets.

I also want to thank the large number of members who help other members in the group with basic PC questions. Where the information is accurate and on point I do not see a reason to intervene or fill the thread with repeat information. I feel this is how a good community runs, and The members who do sometimes share information have received recognition for doing so from us . because I am proud of how many customers have adopted to ur model and once being across have enjoyed to money it has been saving them over the last 18 months.

I think members helping members is a good thing on OTCA, and I feel we only need to intervene if the information shared is false or incorrect.

This is prob the longest post you will ever see from me here on OTCA and prob what you might consider the most negative toned.

however I am not here to rant and scream and abuse people for there opinions merely to point out some more information and reasons behind what we do.

We are not or will be anything like what many people consider a hobby business.

we want to get better , we are not content with our position in the market,

we really are only in our second year of trade, so much more growth and improvement to be had, and as I said, feedback is welcome, not always will it become the result of change , but we do take notice

I am not happy if people feel ignored or that we dont care about them.

I might not know each username on otca. but if you are a customer of PC Its pretty safe to say I have heard of you before or know something about the type of orders you are placing.

We will continue to post here with news and updates to keep our customers not on social media informed, we will not take our bat and ball and leave because we dont like we hear.

Thanks to all those who support us and those who contribute on the forum page for Premium Collectables.

I remember seeing this a few months ago and being super keen, but for $100 I'm not so sure I love it that much. compared to other sources, it's a good price, I just think the asking price should be lower from the manufacturer for this one.

Swings and roundabouts.

When you order multiple items at once, they send them as they become available but you're only paying for postage once (or not at all if over $100).

Sometimes you win, sometimes they win.

Of course, no harm in asking for credit...

Business sense wise is not making sense to pay more shipping.
Considering shipping is low cost already, pulling this type of requests is actually what will eventually make the store fail.

Remember you agree to their terms and conditions prior to purchasing.
I think it is very reasonable of what they been doing.

Else why not I just combine all I have ordered now and make shipping free?

You paid for shipping because it was bellow $100, it is unrelated whether they decided to send in one box.

If you paid for FedEx and they send Australia post, yes by all means make a fuss.

The problem with PC is that shipping is free over $100, yet things sell out so quickly that you cannot risk waiting to combine items into one order to take advantage of the free shipping.

Nor can you create a pile of loot (such as with BBTS) to minimise shipping costs.

If you've paid for shipping on items that, ordered individually, cost less than $100, yet they choose to ship them together, i think it's a fair gripe. That said, would it be something they can accommodate in their system going forward? No idea.

Personally, I would use PC more if they charged when the item ships, rather than months in advance. We've seen with TFI what can go wrong with paying in advance and, while I'm not suggesting that could be the case with PC, I think it's the business' responsibility to ensure their cashflow/credit situation is sustainable, and not the buyer's responsibility to do anything other than pay for their products.

There's been times I've ordered from PC where I've bitten on the shipping charge, but there's been more times I've passed up things because of that charge. If I could bundle orders together for shipment, I'd be more keen to buy from them.

I have to agree. The only thing I would find egregious is if items were being deliberately held back to be shipped with others rather than just shipped as soon as they could reasonably be expected to ship. Of course there is no way of knowing whether that's the case.

drifand
12th August 2016, 04:25 PM
They stated this before in their very long post, you are most welcome to place your orders from those sites if you are not happy with their current terms and conditions.

I get what you are saying but I am not supporting a pay later postage feature when it is a perk atm above $100 which mind you it was $150 when they first began. They need to earn money not give freebies away else they won't survive.

End of the day, we all pay postage for under $100 regardless we argue that they sell out fast. It's part of the deal, you do your best to combine orders to make that quota or you pay the shipping which is pretty low anyway.

As it is they already gotten feedback and they felt comfortable by running this business as the way everyone is happy.

I also agree with this. I expect PC will institute something like a POL eventually. This is a young business so it will take time.

Upfront payment is also an issue I have if there is a 5-6mth lead time to receiving the order (eg Cheetor). On the exclusives, which are usually a 1-3mth lead time, I've been more relaxed about pre-paying, particularly given that PC's pricing seems to be well below competitors on these, whereas the regular releases appear more or less in line with the Japanese retailers. I highly doubt they will move away from the upfront payment since their whole business model is based on this for cash flow reasons. Their solution so far has been zipPay, which is not really what I'm looking for.

I have gotten a lot of partial orders ship when they got stock. Yes they do hold back once in a while because part of my other orders items were just coming the following week which I had no issues.

When they stock items at $99.95, you've got to question their commitment to the 100 Club. The $xx.95 is nothing but grocery store horseshit.

As I said, it's more the fact that it is exceptionally difficult to place orders for different items due to either a) popularity or b) inadequate stock levels to meet demand.

I'll be blunt, paying a $10 shipping fee for a $20 figure makes that figure $30. Multiply that by four figures and you've missed free shipping and paid $40 extra for the process, for products that are months away. If they had more product availability, it wouldn't be an issue but given that even non limited items sell out so quickly, it is a bummer.

PC is a great site, but its frustrating in that regard (though you can't really blame them for popularity) and products are often delivered far slower than the ETAs provided (but again, given the price on products, it's a small thing to whinge about).

I think if you've paid for shipping on items and they choose to bump them together to make it cheaper for themselves (even if we're talking about stock going out on the same day) an email on their decision to do so would not be a bad thing - even if it's a quick note on the shipping notice - something I've had Tony from Chimungmung do on numerous occasions. It makes a difference to perspective and is something that (IMHO) goes a long way.

That said, I dig PC. I just wish their business model allowed me to order more from them than it does. I felt pretty burned buying a $25 Ghostbusters figure from them because I literally couldn't find anything else in stock/not pre-sold-out that I wanted to buy.

I'm buy more and more from PC, and am happy to pay up front for items when they're at a significant discount. If it's an item that's an impulse buy and I might reconsider, then I can wait to closer to the release date and order elsewhere.

But there's often a HUGE price difference. Case in point the Ehobby Combo bat. It was $74.95 AUD plus shipping (which might be free if you orderedth another item). I had a migraine so didn't go online last night to buy. It was sold out, and I had to order it from RK for $125 aud shipped. That's almost double priced.

So rather than be upset with PC for selling out so soon (they can only get so much stock, it's a really limited release, and we were lucky to get any), I'm upset with RK for such a huge markup and I STILL had to pay up front.
But hey, first world problems right?

If that doesn't sum up most of the posts on OTCA, I don't know what does, right? ;)

Guys I don't care if the item is $99.99, we can see it. You can always do some homework and see if the extra $10 is worth it. Example cheetor can be bought from Japan stores for slightly cheaper. You weigh it up which suits you best.

You have points as well which I think they been very generous.

Try getting amiami points in comparison is no where near.

Thanks for your thoughts.

My two orders were placed three months apart. I severely doubt the items I wanted in the first batch would still be available if I decided to see what else became available to reach the $100 mark.

There's nothing that I could see in the terms and conditions along the lines of combining postage for separate orders, or what happens to the amount customers are charged when separate orders are combined. If there is please show me - an informed customer is a happy customer.

A pile of loot system such as that used by BBTS would seem to be the ideal solution.

As I said in my initial post, I was weighing up what to do.

I've got no strong feelings about PC one way or another. I'm certainly not in a raging fury over it, but I am curious what PC's reasoning is and what other members thought.

Actually, they agreed to pay for shipping that order and again for a different order, if we're splitting hairs. This would be going off the invoices/receipts.

Got what you mean now! :)

With TFI, I don't think it was that sudden -- there were definitely signs that they weren't doing well. Plus PC's emergence took a massive chunk of market share away from them, and if anything, that competition was the major factor in TFI going down -- TFI was only able to function when they were the major player and when that got taken away from them they couldn't respond.

I'm buy more and more from PC, and am happy to pay up front for items when they're at a significant discount.
^This. :)

PC's main competitive edge is their low prices, which comes at a cost and they may sacrifice this edge if they were to offer additional services. But yeah, if you want a toy sooner with fancier packaging etc., then go elsewhere. I really like having a low-cost local retailer!

... but longer delivery times are one of the prices with shopping at PC.

If you play the refresh game and buy as soon as the listing goes up (or at least that night) then your wait times are pretty much nil.

For example, the release date for the Asia Edition of Ramjet was the 31st of March, and PC sent out mine out on the 31st and I got it the next day!

I like buying from PC solely due to the low price and it's in AUD which is a huge bonus. They have been very prompt and proffesional when answering my emails within 24hrs.

My only suggestion would be to have an ETA on the product you order. I mean if you're paying for the first air shipment or a sea shipmen then maybe people wouldn't be so anxious waiting for their transformers. All the MP's I order from PC I've always recieved them later then if I ordered from Robotkingdom which is fine but an ETA would be really nice I know it's hard to make ETA's but maybe a blanket statement on the product saying you will not recieve this before X date or something or if you're paying for an air or sea shipment and which batch?

When Ratchet came out for preorder I played the refresh game and I got it within minutes of it going up. My mate orders his ratchet days later and he recieved his more then a week earlier then myself and we live in the same area. As with Ramjet I ordered very late and got mine last month he ordered after me and is still waiting.

On the whole I will continue using PC as I don't mind waiting for my Transformers and they provide adequate service.

All they need to do is a monthly newletter with rough etas on items so that customers know that they haven't been forgotten about. I'm still waiting on MP Ramjet myself but ordered mine very late in the game also waiting ob UW Bruticus. Which is fine but if there was a bit more communication on when things were getting shipped Inwould be whole lot happier.

Or just update the page for the individual toy. Their page for TR Sentinel Prime (http://www.premiumcollectables.com.au/products/2016-titan-returns-voyager-wave-1-sentinel-prime) still states "2nd Qtr 2016" and we're in the third Quarter now. An ETA update would be appreciated.

drifand
14th August 2016, 04:18 PM
Probably might be too much work to do the ETA as they have to update every inventory. I do support ETA suggestion but I know it may be a lot of work.

I think many have forgotten how TT delayed their MPs in the past.

In short if you buy from PC , you considered the waiting times. You Will See some people having the same items Earlier THAN You. This is normal and quit whinging about it. Don't like it, don't order from them.

Free shipping is at a wonderful $100 mark. Complaining about your item being $95 is stupid, you either buy more to get free shipping or pay the shipping for that order. More to add, if you are not able to calculate using your discount coupons and you end up paying for shipping because it totals less than $100 , is Your Fault. I see people complain about items at $85 and scream no free shipping. If you took a step back and go to other online stores and add the shipping it totals as PC still being very competitive if not just a bit dearer. It's not a daylight robbery.

If you were to purchase items seperate under $100 but if were to combine adding to $100 for free shipping,(on same day) I think you can shoot them a message early to discuss a rebate on shipping charges but is up to them.
As far as I can see if you made orders on seperate occasion and days and under $100, you be charged. They are not a non profit organisation so if you are not happy with this set up, shop elsewhere. Bringing up an issue now just shows you were not attentive to your orders and you didn't care about the $10 charge that you agreed to pay in the first place. They wil ship whatever items that you have whether combined or not. And unless your order is a specific Express service, it's considered a paid shipping from them.

Packing suggestion, it's been discussed, don't like what you see, then is elsewhere.

Any questions, email them. Not Facebook or any other means you think they will respond faster. As they have stated, they don't entertain complaints here on this thread as official communication.

I am not targeting anyone in particular, just giving my input on what has been happening. You should be knowing how they work by now which I think a huge majority are happy.

Please feel free to read page 207 on owners comments.

I'm not complaing about prices or competiveness. I'm happy to pay a little less and wait for a bit longer. But the biggest complaint I see about PC is when stuff is getting sent out. That's why I would think a newsletter wpuld be good for example MP Ramjet every month they could just say were expecting shipment in 3 months time then the next month they can just update it to 2 months and so on just a tiny bit of communication would keep alot of their customers happy and then they would get less questions about when items are arriving that's just my 2 cents

Then mores the pity for them, honestly.

You can be wholly supportive and appreciative of an entity while still being critical of it. This is natural (and good!) and I don't think it really does anyone any good by you coming in here and continually pouring cold water over what are, by and large, legitimate concerns/suggestions/critiques that are expressed in calm, reasoned and mature way and not in the sorts of hysterics that would deserve the lectures you're giving.

That being said, there's a feedback thread and maybe it could go there *shrugs*.

Big yes. EDMs are quite simple/comparatively easily manageable for early ecommerce sites, and will help them gain a consistent following that they can track and gain further insights.

I did too, and then I got the Cassettes separately, which in total cost me about $200. But then again, I got these toys before the Hasbro version came out - so at the time that I pre-ordered these figures I didn't know that Hasbro would be releasing their own version, and I certainly couldn't have known that TRU would've released it here for just $150 or that it would be reissued 3 years later for $170. We're not clairvoyants and pre-ordering or purchasing a toy ASAP usually works out cheaper, but not always.

But let me put it this way, it's not often that being an early bird works out dearer than being a slow poke. The majority of the time has worked out cheaper for me, so in the bigger picture occasionally paying higher prices for being an early bird isn't so bad. We gain more than we lose in the long run.

Getting toys early will probably be cheaper than getting them later, but it's never a sure guarantee. But 99%* of the time it will be cheaper.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
*99.5% for me (I just did the maths ;)) But yeah, I'm not gonna allow myself to feel about about the few remote times when getting a toy sooner has worked out dearer than getting it later, because it's only happened 0.5% of the time for me. If I really want a toy, then I'll get it early and accept that there's a 99.5% chance that I will have saved money over purchasing it later on.

I was late to the party and just missed out on TRU soundwave. I just cant stomach paying $50-$80 for 2 cassettes especially after TRU's release.

But it's true rarely would you lose money if you buy early instead of later. Soundwave was a big exception. I'd still buy TT releases early rather than wait and see if Hasbro release theirs.

Or one single page that list every item as plain text with an ETA next to it. Once a month update would be plenty on items that are going to be outside the original state window.
It would be like ten minutes of work once a month, hardly seems impossible to achieve.
Only items that have changed would need updating, so 90% of the list/page would not need updating, just the stuff with changes. You'd get all the I do on every item o. One page, plain text, updated statement dates, it would look like a spreadsheet.

Cue inevitable"it can't be done!" Comments:)

It's a reasonable price compared to what we might see it for at Myer or similar. I just don't get Hasbro releasing this set?
I don't mind the galvatron myself, I can see where it would have been better as a larger figure, etc and the rodimus is neat since it's the first space Winnebago to completely transform to robot, but these two toys are nearly unanimously maligned by the wider collecting community.

That it was the movie anniversary and they had no later updated models of the two leads in the same line to re-release

You't got MP rodimus, not known for being in two packs, and then Titans Return Galvatron with a wacky head, I don't see those two selling together. These two are in same scale, line, look at least a BIT like the characters so it makes sense to me. If you don't like the toys fair enough, but what else COULD they re-released right now to tie in?

But crap toys that shelf warm for ages are a disincentive for retailers to stock such things in the future and also discourage Hasbro from taking chances with future releases. Hence less chance of those toys you do want being made.

It's very difficult to judge when you're "supposed" to get something with PC. My (perhaps incorrect) understanding is that they get mixed shipments in from their suppliers regularly. Some via air, many via bulk sea freight.

They may have sold (for example) 100 Hasbro Fort Max, 20 of those may have come in during the second week of July, another 40 in the first week of August, etc. Besides best pricing, they treat their customers right in exchange for their patience. Using TR Fort Max as an example again, they stated that everyone ordering one would get either a bonus sword or exclusive decal sheet, neither of which were available with the retail release here in Australia.

There are many factors which may affect when you get yours. You may have ordered an item in the first 2 minutes it went live, but there may be 20 people that paid for the super express service shipping which would put them ahead of you.

I've trusted them with a large sum of my money, and I still feel confident in the service they provide. I believe they've heard customer requests for better communication, and I think they're taking steps to try and improve that (ala PCTV later this month). Let's wait and see.

Same.

For me they've delivered 18 of my 29 orders without a hitch (with the exception of one order where StarTrack stuffed up but rectified it), so they've not failed me; and along they way they've given me free bonus items that other stores either don't have or charge you for.

I have been informed that their stock is not connected with Hasbro Australia (Hasbro US I think) hence why some of the orders will come in at a latter time. I don't know their set up for TakTom items though. I personally am still waiting for CW Computron, Astrotrain, Alpha & Sentinel. But in the end if it keeps the pricing low, I'm more than happy to wait.

Didn't they state this ages ago? I thought it was common knowledge... but yeah, now that Australian distribution has improved, I've cut down on ordering Hasbro TFs from PC. I'll just stick to using them for TakaraTOMY stuff and get my Hasbro toys locally. :)

I don't know their set up for TakTom items though.
My guess is that it's an East Asian source outside of Japan - I suspect Hong Kong. Cos all the MPs that I've gotten from them so far have come with coins (except Ramjet which I believe never had one anyway). Not that I care about the coins, but every MP that I've gotten from a Japanese based source (e.g. HLJ, Amazon Japan etc.) have never come with the coins. AFAIK the coins are exclusive to Sinophone countries.

I received Blaster (with prime) quite early, but not much else from CW and TR.
I'm still waiting for one bot that most seemed to received in June. :/

I think they just get things in waves, and long delays would only effect a few customers out of many.

It can feel a bit strange when you pay for something months ago, only to see the item already out on shelves before your online order comes in, but it's the nature of different supply chains.

Hopefully some of our preorders will start coming in soon. :)

Yes I know, I've made a number of purchases from them and I've encountered both sides of the spectrum in terms of delivery times. Majority of the purchases are for my kids which I hold for birthdays or Christmas etc so I'm pretty relaxed about the waiting times and aware of their business model. I also am measured when asking for updates, I.e. I ordered Galvatron pretty much the moment it went up in February this year and only chased it up in July for an eta which they told me August, and only chased up for an update in September since The initial eta had come and gone. Only reason I posted was due to the fact that I normally get a response from their CS within 48 hours however this time it's been a week without hearing back from them. I was just genuinely curious for an ETA that's all which I have been able to gauge from everyone else. In this instance, So long as I get it before Christmas I'm fine

Again thanks everyone for the responses

If there's a real risk of something selling out (as in, they know they will have limited stock) then I think that they set aside some stock for VIP customers if they don't have time to send out emails before it goes live.

As for delays in responding - I can't offer any information.

My feeling is that this is going to be a long wait. PC's supplier didn't fulfill the promised order, so they're stuck trying to find excess stock in a market that is quickly shrinking. I know they've offered refunds to those that want one, but for anyone still keen on the figure, I doubt they can offer any absolute timelines. Right now everyone in Asia is hanging on to stock because it's selling for a high price. Once the KO is released we might see the price drop and distributors might be willing to part with more stock.

Has anyone had problems ordering though their VIP program. The emails I have sent them in the last week to place an order have not been processed in over a week now. Really frustrating and lucky the item hasn't sold out yet but it's pretty horrible VIP service

They seem to still be working as some items shipped over the weekend for me but I'm at a loss to understand why my VIP orders have not been processed

I just joined VIP recently, can I confirm that you're getting advance notification/ invoices prior to sales listings going active on their site?

No, it's only going to happen when there is an extremely limited stock item.

Example: TT Mall exclusive Thrust, EVA Prime, etc.

Eva prime was so limited it didn't went to VIP mail group but probably to VIP member who asked for it first.

If there are too many VIP members and cannot cater to them then they should raise the bar unfortunately otherwise is as good as no VIP status.

It's a perk, not an entitlement.

Besides, I'm sure they'd gladly let you pay full price for anything you want to buy [in protest].

They've posted an update on FB (https://www.facebook.com/premiumcollectaus/posts/1204678286220424):

TF HASBRO UPDATE -
Computrons will start arriving this week, more voyagers will be here in about 2 weeks, likely many who ordered wave 2 will get wave 1 shipped all together, Wave 2 deluxe will be also arriving in about two weeks.
Some Enquiry About Sound Wave Leader,
Due to this item already in Australia, we have decided to pass on offering this product

Shame about Soundwave. I had been waiting for them to list him instead of going and grabbing it from a store. Now to try and find one in my area.

Regarding VIP invoices, if they are not responding why don't you just email their normal customer service address. Could be a problem with the email if multiple people are having this issue.

I ordered at 9:08pm on the 7th of April and got my Max on the 19th of August with sword -- if you ordered at that time, then you should've got one (or at least something), but if you ordered at 10pm, that's pretty late all things considered, and probably too late to get at least a sword.

DarkHyren
15th September 2016, 10:15 PM
I think the swords and stickers went out with each order as they were posted out rather then in order of when you placed your order.
Maybe send PC an email and just ask if they still have any of either bonus and see if they might send you one, I know swords would have been a lower quantity but sticker sheets should have been plentiful enough?

What I find really difficult with PC is there cart and inventory process

You go through the process of adding to cart and then getting to check
Out only to find that the item is sold out

Surely there would be a more customer friendly way to show an item was sold out.

I went through the process of adding kultar this morning only to find that it's completely sold out

Anyway just a gripe of mine with the site and it's always a challenge to guess if they have the advertised item actually available.

Dude everything has it limitations, I am glad it says sold out there and then rather than you paid to find out sorry it was sold out?
Hlj is the same, it allows you to add to cart but if inventory has been updated then sorry you missed out. Kick a chair lol

Just take it easy and look elsewhere, no point venting.

Calm down bro.

Was just identifying a process that I thought wasn't very user friendly or helpful to the customer? Can I not do that?

I'm not allow to raise this? It was just a frustration that I had experienced with the site that's all

Yup I am fine, I am just pointing out whether you guys realised it is already pretty good as it is. PC had stated very limited numbers for that item. And was pending after VIP orders of any was left. Being on a regular item I can place an order under a minute when all in stock, I say it's done its job.

Gofigure

With any business endeavour online or not there is always room for improvement regardless of how well that business is operating

My personal experience was this particular part of the business was not as efficient. Going through numerous clicks on the website for an item to eventually discover it's sold out is not ideal. I have just found that has been the case when navigating the website for last few months.

If this is the only way it can be done that fine. However if we can flag a potential issue for the customer that could be rectified and make for an improved customer experience, should we not afford the opportunity to the explore this for the operator? Just a thought

PC has indicated (https://www.facebook.com/premiumcollectaus/posts/1210600515628201?comment_id=1211246158896970&comment_tracking=%7B%22tn%22%3A%22R0%22%7D) the issue is because of unpaid orders -- so probably either unpaid VIP allocations or bank deposits.

Not sure how it works on the back end of their software and whether they can change it or not.
