The parents shed just blew apart in the current Perth storm, so I've been dealing with that for a bit. 3m x 2m metal sheets pose a bit of a risk if they get caught in the wind...

Almost had that happen to my folks shed too once. They were overseas at the time and the Neighbours had called the ses. A guy comes out said he'd grab some sandbags for me and never came back. Ended up filling some plastic bags with sand and threw them on the roof of the shed.
Turns out that was enough to hold the roof on.
For the next three years!

Better response than I got from the SES; "We don't deal with sheds."
Between ripping down and flattening the shed panels and cutting the ropes that connected two fence posts and the shed lock, it was a pretty crazy experience!

Be thankful for school as long as you can before you have to grow up and be an adult. Sometimes I wish to be at school rather than working because it ain't much fun either.

I don't get it.
The particular Zigzagoon you face at the beginning of the game is attacking the professor (Birch) and you have to save him, by choosing a starter and attacking the Zigzagoon. You can't catch him. :(
In the case you are unaware of what shiny Pokemon are, they are a different coloured version of a Pokemon that have a 1 in 8192 chance of occuring on a regular wild pokemon.
There are other methods of finding shiny pokemon more quickly, notably the Masuda Method, which is the process of breeding a pokemon with another pokemon from a different country/nation, which increases the chances of the hatchling being shiny.
The way people get shiny pokemon via Soft Reset (SR) is to save before you encounter or pick a certain pokemon and press a to select it. If not shiny, soft reset by pressing L, R, Start, Select, A and B all at the same time on the GBA. This will reset the game without you needing to turn off and turn on, taking you to basically the start screen. You keep doing this until the pokemon you want is shiny. Most people use this for legendary pokemon or starter pokemon. It can take really short, from like 2 or 3 resets to the 10,000s.
A similar enraging scenario is facing a shiny Graveler, which usually has the move "explosion", meaning it basically explodes to hurt the enemy, ending the encounter or with Abra, a psychic pokemon, using teleport, effectively ending the battle in the case of a wild encounter.
While trying to get a shiny starter pokemon, I unintentionally encountered a shiny Zigzagoon, which filled me with rage, as I have never actually caught a shiny, just from events and set encounters. :(
More info here (http://www.psypokes.com/lab/shiny.php). Hope you can understand my frustration. ;):(

Ironically it was in emerald that i encountered all my shiny pokemon, zubat, whismer and golbat. Though i've never been bothered with shiny pokemon, rather its crappy nature or IV's that i hate most, which causes me to soft reset for a better and stronger version of the pokemon.

You'll be suprised at how unboring school actuslly is. I work from home but i'm stuck waiting for the othrr end of the comissions buyer. I don't get friends over cause i don't have friends available, i can't go out cause i'm broke having spent the only money on bills or food and a few exciting days foor the little kid n big kid. many days people arn't online to chat. And the last month i have been bed ridden pretty much with a bad back. So i basicly stay inside with no outside communication, hearing repeted news or shows for the whole day as an anime collection only goes so far. I can't draw cause i have no where to keep my work out flat. I watch clouds, listen to rain pretty much 365 days a year. I have to actually keep myself occupied or else i get aggressive if no activity has happened for too long. There is no structured time, there is no change of sceneary and next to no change in activity. Its like picking a school day and only ever doing that school day 7 days a week and during holidays too. So i know school might feel like it sucks now but at least you get a change in mental and physical stimilus.
And people wonder why the hell i'm building a giant manta ray.....
little kid and big kid must keep for stimuli???

Picked up my BH Shockwave off my shelf where my Prime toys, Cybertron Voyagers/Ultras and Classics Soundwave+cassettes are for a play.
Put him back and suddenly the bolts under the shelf turned, making the shelf crash onto the one below, which, naturally, to my luck, is where my Lego Star Wars stuff is, such as my B-Wing and MTT. (Multi Troop Transport)
I managed to swiftly remove the MTT just in time, but everything, including all the lego minifigs and Transformers fell to the floor, already crushed by the shelf.
My Yugioh deck, which I'd just also sleeved was scattered everywhere and I think there's still some floating around somewhere.
Took a good 20 minutes to clean it all up and put them back in place, but I now have an incessant fear that it'll happen again. :(

My (privatised) post office will only have 2 staff on Saturday, which means queuing for over half an hour... and closes on random days as if it is some undocumented public holiday.
Yeah... privatisation/deregulation is claimed to create efficiency and better value (through competition) to the public, who paid taxes to create those government-owned utilities and infrastructure in the first place... only to have it cost us more in the long run, and get less in return when those new entities are more committed to their share-holders than the general public.
Has there been anything privatised that HAS been better for us, and not the friends, donors or family of politicians who instigate these things?
Airports? Nope... parking, taxi fees, gate fees, baggage-cart fees - all excessive now at the privatised ones.
Electricity? Nope... almost doubled in the last 5 years.
Roads/tunnels/bridges? Nope... we now have quite a few with tolls, which is a second tax, as we are being taxed to pay for roads already, so why isn't it going to these projects.
Water? Nope... cost rising since it was privatised in QLD.
Rail and the Ports will be next, pushing up prices of everything like petrol does (as most things are imported or travel around the country by rail).
Our taxes bought and built these things, and now we have to pay extra so that someone else can profit from our taxes and make us pay more to pay off their debts...
Sometimes I think it is just a vocal (upper class) minority that promote unregulated/excessive Capitalism, because they seem to be the only ones who benefit most from it. Those of us in the working class certainly have the country's prosperity on our backs, but don't reap the rewards of that prosperity. :(

That's odd about the post office. My missus used to work at the Post office where we have our PO box and so we got fairly chummy with the owners. One day the owners mother died (mid week) and Australia post would only allow them to close the Post office for like 2 days or something tiny like that! I was a bit shocked.
I'd complain to Aust post about the post office, surely they have a basic level of cust service to offer and the random closing down on days doesn't seem right. I'd complain anonymously though ;)
On the privatisation thing, I agree too and you raise a good point about our taxes paying for stuff which is then being 'privatised.' I am glad in WA we don't have any toll, but I dread the day the rail service gets privatised. i don't see the point of privatising public transport as it usually runs at a loss anyway, and surely taxes go to supporting any company that buys it anyway...
IIRC, the only public transport that makes any money in the world is Japan's.
The world is a kooky place all right.

For privatization to be of benefit to consumers, there needs to be healthy competition. However if there is healthy competition, state companies are unlikely to get privatized because there is no profit in it.
It hardly ever works but it fails miserably in Australia because a lot of industries work here on monopolies so when something gets privatized, they feel they can raise the costs of goods and services and lower as much quality as much as they bloody well like because they are the only providers of it (eg Telstra).

Yep most of the biggest aussie success stories in Australia are those who have attained monopolic or quasi-monopolic dominance over the marketplace as opposed to continuous competitveness or innovation.
However there is no doubt in my mind that the horrible wastage of tax money in government owned services exists. You may not see this hit you directly in your bills as the government often borrows money or steals money from other government sectors to keep these services afloat. All of which needs to be paid back later, perhaps by the next generation or more subtlely by cuts to important things like education.

Yeah… Nah.
Yes government wastage exists. But it exists in most government organizations due to the methods these organizations have to employ on the whim of a politician trying to grab a vote. The amount of beauracracy imposed by government, onto government agencies is ridiculous. No private enterprise would operate under those conditions. THAT is usually why when an organization is privatized that the new owner makes cuts. They remove all the useless overheads.
Also keep in mind that whereas the purpose of said public entities like Auspost, Telstra (what's left of it), electricity, water, etc, is to provide a service, that service used to be provided for cost. But over the years governments (both federal and state) started demanding annual stipends off these utilities thereby forcing these organizations to start making a profit, which in turn pushes up consumer prices. I know for a fact that every state utility does this. And Australia Post now turns a profit as well. And this stipend doesnt necessarily depend on the budget that organization has either. To meet that stipend, cuts have to be made to things like infrastructure spending and jobs, thereby lessening the quality of that service.
Then before you know it, some politician is standing up crying out that that particular organization is inefficient and top heavy. Not to mention a burden on taxpayers and should be privatised.

change payment option

Ouch man. :(
When we came to China, my wife wanted to bring 6 bottles of Australian wine as gifts for friends/relos. We packed them in a Leader Class case box, wrapped each bottle with bubble wrap and filled in the space with scrunched up newspaper, more bubble wrap and those little foam things. Stuck Fragile notices in English, Chinese and also the same symbols used internationally all over the box. The airport staff told us that it was all caveat emptor and the airline accepts no responsibility if anything is damaged. My wife was continually worried about them during the entire flight, and it wasn't until we finally reached her parents' place and opened the box that she was relieved that everything was okay. Pretty intense 15 hours...
Not sure if I should pack my MP Acid Storm in my luggage case or carry it on. The box is pretty big and awkward. Hmmm... current thought is to pack it in the luggage and just surround it with clothes.

If you have a fairly hard-shelled luggage and there is nothing else 'hard' inside your check-in luggage that may crush the box from within that strategy should be fine.
I woudln't recommend putting MP Acid Storm in your carry-on as the crush potential in the overhead locker is too great and I think he's just a bit too big to fit under the seat?
Of course the easiest way is to not give a damn about resultant condition of the packaging :p

I've never really cared about a Hasbro MP box before, because most of them are just oversized blister packs. This will be only one of two Hasbro MP boxes that I've not thrown out (the other being MP10 Optimus Prime).
Anyway, I've already packed it into my luggage which isn't hard shelled. We do have a hard shelled luggage (bought it in Kyoto actually for the express purpose of lugging back all the Transformers I'd bought in Japan in it, and it did a marvellous job in keeping them safe ;)), but naturally we didn't bring it because my wife doesn't trust Chinese luggage handlers and is afraid that the hardshell case might get scratched or dented. Personally I don't care if the case gets damaged, as long as the contents are safe! Damn the Japanese for making such a beautiful looking luggage case that my wife doesn't want to see get wrecked! :p

On a couple of occasions I've had large TFs boxes as carry-on luggage, and they've faired better than checked-in luggage usually does. Mostly because I have more control over what it comes in contact with. I'll usually be one of the last on, so I can make space for it in the over-head, and keep an eye on it until it is closed in case someone else tries to cram something else in there.
One was the Kreo Devastator Vs Ironhide set (all the way from America - it was too big to fit in my luggage), and one was the BH Ultimate Optimus from Sydney.

Best thing to do is take as much as you can in a carry on box, such that you occupy an entire overhead compartment, so no one will even try jamming something in there. Reserve seats and get in early!

Yeah I prefer carrying TF's in carry-on myself and they have generally fared much better than items in checked-in and even posted due to the control factor. If you have a bag that take up the entire depth of the overhead locker and is reasonably rigid then your contents are safe. However I've seen some of horrible ways cabin crew and other passengers have tried to cram everything in up there thus I still wouldn't be comfortable recommending overhead lockers to anyone else.

I've faced the same problem with purchases from RK. Took over a week once it arrived in Australia according to the tracking website.
It's Australia Post that's holding it up (I believe). The courier delivers the parcel to your designated address (eg home), which requires a signature. If you aren't at the designated address at time of delivery then the parcel gets stored at your local Australia Post Office. The problem is that the collection card takes forever to reach your letterbox to inform you that you need to collect the parcel from the allocated local Post Office!!!! One way I get around this is to call my local Post Office to check if there is a parcel for my attention. If so, just pop in & present ID with name & address, such as Driver's Licence. This cuts out the waiting time for the collection card to arrive. Why Australia Post doesn't just place the collection card in the letterbox there and then if no one is home? Argh... frustrating indeed.
I find my parcel from BBTS gets dropped on my front door if I'm not at home. It's so much faster. No signature is required (but I guess there is an element of risk). One time, it was placed behind my rubbish bin and away from prying eyes. It was a large box. The guy left a quick note in the letterbox to tell me where the parcel was located. Fantastic!!!!

I don't know for sure. I'm only guessing here but they are using different Postal Services, even if the parcel originate from the same geogrpahic location. UPS Air Service, for example, 'guarantee' delivery of parcel by a set date and thus cost more to ship. RK may be using Registered Air Mail Parcel, which keeps cost down but takes a lot longer to reach it's final destination. The exception is for large parcels which require EMS shipping method.

It can also depend on which planes are leaving HK for Australia that have space available. To the HK postal service, if you aren't paying for a guaranteed delivery timeframe, they'll stick it on any plane that is heading for Australia, and then it becomes Australia Post's problem to relocate it to the city/state on the address. And as we've seen, once it gets to Australia, our postal service can take its time to send stuff interstate.

When I tried to put the arm back on and somehow took the ball off in the process. Worse is that the ball is in the joint now.
Anyone know if you can get replacements from Bandai? It was the SDCC version too.....
Failing that, any ideas on how to fix it???
:eek: i don't have any s.h.figarts figure but HLJ sell parts joints of model kits so you might be able to use them , they also have revoltech joints as well .. i twisted one of my figma joints and it snapped and so i replace it with a revoltech one...

I did something like that to my original Akiba Yellow. Thank god she was a non-exclusive release, because it was not fixable (I ended up buying a replacement for $25 from amiami.com, because I stupidly assumed there would be no chance of help from Bandai--in a way it was a good thing because I used to buy Sentai Figuarts from ebay and yesasia like a moron paying the ridiculous mark ups), but after dealing with the Good Smile Company for replacement Nendoroid pieces, I think Bandai would be pretty okay as long as you took photos, and it was with in 12 months of release.
Of course, being an SDCC one, it's distributed by Bluefin instead right? So hit them up on their Facebook page and they should help. They're pretty quick to reply to thing.

Basically destroyed my hands turning an area on our hobby farm the old owners had as a tip into a big vege patch for all my vine veges such as watermelon, cucumbers, pumpkins, rockmelon etc.
Came out this morning and bloody rabbits have been at my new seedlings!
My first thought was 'Oh cute, bunnies!!'
Guess I don't have what it takes to be a farmer.
BUT I do know how you can stop the rabbits.
Ditch the veggies, grow cows and sell meat.
That way, rabbits won't eat your cows.
You can thank me later.

Actually, we are fencing off our 10 acre paddock at years end and we are either going to chuck in a dozen sheep or a couple of cattle. The only problem being that my wife doesn't want to eat the offspring if she gets attached to them, and there isn't much other purpose to having them otherwise so it's a matter of determining which she will find the least cute.

The prime reason why I hardly go to the movies anymore. I have 2 young kids of my own and would never put other paying customers through that. It shouldn't be their problem to deal with.

I have seen that a lot. I have also seen it happen in R rated movies too - Come to think of it, I don't think I have gone to one where some loser doesn't bring in kids under 5. To me it just restates how stupid the average human is.

An all too familiar scenario. I don't want to point fingers to any particular demographic but I have a feeling that some Asian families don't understand the rating system. I have seen them bring in the whole family composed of up to 3 small kids to watch movies like The Conjuring, Evil Dead or other child inappropriate movies that have generous amounts of sex, nudity and violence.

you could have probably asked for a partial refund at the box office. if it's an adult film, they shouldn't be taking children in to see it. And the cinema shouldn't be selling childrens tickets to it.
Ratings don't seem to matter so much to a lot of people, my brother in-law has let his 5 now 6 year old son watch Transformers DOTM and iron man 3, multiple times (at home) but I wouldn't think either film is suitable for him.

I believe new release DVDs in this country actually have a high Recommened Retail Price, but generally nobody sells a DVD at RRP due to all the store discounting/competition. JB is one of the few stores I've seeen that do sometimes have them on shelf at RRP, but they would have been selling Iron Man 3 for something like $20 when it first came out, and if you wait a bit longer it'll be in a 2 for $30 deal or things like that.

Kids are not necessarily the problem. I made the mistake on going to see it at the Shire and during the film, there were 4 walk outs from the 'surfy jock types' and a couple of bimbos behind us (adults not kids) could not stop giggling and carrying on because they did not understand what was happening in the movie. I had to tell them to shut up.
It is really depressing as it shows how dumbed down Sydney society is becoming. I can understand the walk outs as at least they were polite enough to do so if if they didn't like the movie but the ones that remained just to make fun of a movie because they couldn't understand it?

reamaining to make fun of a movie at the expense of others enjoyment is also related to a very common problem of selfishness in todays society. "I don't like it so no one else will either".

Also venting about the price of dvds, I was looking to buy Thor recently just to refresh myself while awaiting the new one coming out soon. $34 it was, so I left it. I also noticed Ironman 3 was quite expensive also. This quite annoys me. I guess if you really want something its better to buy it when its first out at an introductory price of say $19. I notice after a few weeks some go up in price to around $34 or more. It must be some kind of marketing strategy. I hate it of course. Instead of buying Thor I picked up 3 other movies for less than $30.

At least with DVDs you can get away with ordering from Overseas. You can't really do that with Blu-rays unless you know it's region free which is always a risk.

Thank every deity for sites like regionfreemovies.com , which is pretty comprehensive with foreign releases.
Sometimes you still end up taking a gamble, but if you know the company's usual stance on it, and you're willing to take the gamble because 80% of blu-rays are region-free, then luck is generally on your side.

I was a meter reader too, although it was water meters. Wow, the number of dogs that chased me and missed me by millimetres as i just made it over that fence/gate. I also was bitten by 2 dogs, luckily they were only foxies and shih tzus, i was too quick or smart for the bigger ones (or lucky). Good times. I didn't mind the job, i only left coz i found a better paying job 2 minutes down the road.
It kept me fit as i'm a fast walker and once you learnt your regular routes, i could do a days work in 3-4 hours, or complete 2 days work in 1 day and have the next day off, as i had already earnt that days pay. EWON. With an N. the are pretty good, but slow. Like months slow. Have you tried talking to your retailer? They should be able to look at your history and see that that bill is really unusual. Also check your meter reading with what is says on the bill. That will be a good indicator. And don't pay it until it's sorted out. If you lodge a case with EWON, they can't disconnect your power for non-payment over this dispute while it's being investigated.

Fortunately I managed to get myself out of there without putting a knee or elbow though the Gyprock but to do so required that I use my neck as a lever, use my knees in a way that means they no longer have any skin left on them and bruised most of my ribs. :(
And once I got down I was sweating heaps and forgot and proceeded to wipe my forehead with my arm, that was covered in fiberglass from the bats. GOOD ONE TRENT!!!! So I had an itchy forehead for a few hours

I actually asked the postie to place my big boxes in the back yard they don't mind but you have to give them written confirmation to enter your property(If you have dogs they wont). They also usually leave the smaller ones at the door or if I need to sign they put the collection card in the mail box mind you I always thank and talk to the postie(If im there at the time, offered him a coffee once lol) to get him on my good side so I guess he doesn't mind but everywhere different I guess :)

well, that's it, i give up. we have to pay the entire amount. they wouldn't even waive a little bit of it. looks like i've gotta have a talk with the meter man next time he comes around. i'm gonna be telling him he's gonna be paying for most of it cause he was to lazy to do his job properly.i want to know why the couldn't walk that last 5 metres to the front wall and open up the box and read it. there is no fence and no dog. the bastard was just plain lazy. there's a lesson in this... don't bother working hard or doing things properly because at the end of the day there is someone usually there waiting to screw you over..old saying i use"don't steal the government hates competition."

did you call the ombudsman, do that before you pay, if its anything like the TIO they can force them to check or quantify the bill. call the ombudsman (previous post) and see what they say before you pay the bill, at least then there is a record of the problem with a third party

Definitely go to The ombudsman. It Queensland it's http://www.ewoq.com.au DON'T PAY IT! have you checked your actual meter reading and compared it to the reading on your bill?

already rang the ombudsman. apparently there is a loophole that they got around, so we're pretty much left holding the bag. i've already had a bloke out to check to make sure the meter wasn't faulty and gone through nearly everything i could do to get it wiped or at least lowered a bit.

i wish i could take it to court to dispute it but can't afford to. i haven't been back to work since the accident and i won't be able to get back for a little while yet. our bills are usually pretty good about 600 a quarter plus we also have solar hot water so we never really get hit by high bills but this 1 is just BS. it is like they just plucked a number out and went with that.

You could try calling Legal Aid or similar as well. Get as much legitimate legal advice as you can, many firms will even offer a free initial consultation.
As others have said, DON'T PAY IT until you have absolutely no other options. I think a court hearing is around $300-400.

legal aid won't help as i'm not a crim facing court and because i have job to go back to. well the court cost ain't to bad actually. if it is 300-400 that's pretty reasonable. i might ring a few firms tomorrow about and get hold of a few of the news stations and newspapers.

First thing is to get in touch with your state member, John Hathaway (http://www.johnhathaway.com.au/). Give his offices a call and say you'd like Mr Hathaway to look into it for you and you then follow it up with a letter.
If it's anything like NSW, he will then seek an explaination from the Energy minister who will go "WTF?" to Ergon.
When you contact My hathaway, be sure to explain your personal circumstances and emphasis how this situation is placing you under a great deal of stress and you don't know how this can happen. Don't threaten them in any way but be sure to let them know that you will go to the media if this isn't resolved as you are desparate.
Hopefully that helps.

The Sydney to the Gong bike ride was on as well and to get to the trail we were going to ride we had to join the pack of spandex wearing Kool-Kats for about 400 metres. Anyway, my brothers went a slightly different way with me sailing down the road in the pack. There is a woman on the side of the road with a mega-phone that is some sort of info person. She sees me with no race number and starts yelling at me saying that I'm cheating and robbing from sick people because if I didn't have a number then I didn't pay the entry fee.

This vent is on behalf of the wife. As she was toy hunting today (cos I'm on business travel in regional Vic), she noticed pieces missing from toy boxes as can be seen through the clear plastic 'window'. The only one remaining Voyager class Megatron at three Big W's she visited happened to have a missing weapon. Looks as if someone removed the weapon through the hole in the display window.
At Kmart (Altona North), someone removed Buzz Lightyear from a box of Toy Story six figurine pack.
Why, why, why.

Why do sellers on ebay have a tendency to add "What you see is what you get" referring to the photo in the item description but when you actually receive the item, it is clearly another of the same toy but damaged or of a noticeably lower QC standard?

If you didn't receive exactly the same thing as what's in the photo, you have the right to ask for an exchange/return/refund. "What you see is what you get" should mean exactly that. I would let the seller know so that he or she can offer a resolution, before I left them feedback or took it to the Paypal Resolution Center.

I tend to forgive 'vendor' type sellers for this as I know what to expect since they copy and paste descriptions over multiple listings.
If it was a more 'private' seller I would be crying fraud.

i don't forgive that type of thing, as a vendor or private seller the sellers responsibility is the same.
selling too many items or being too busy is not an excuse for misrepresenting an item.
sure use the same picture for 5 of the same MISB item if all the boxes are in good condition but five of the same loose item should all be individually represented.
Sounds like you got a good resolution Kup, kudos to the seller.

So my front screen door, a 3yr old $700 Crimsafe with 3 latch locks is borked. The top latch dangles outside of it's hole preventing clean shutting and opening, and getting worse to the point where it'll be impossible to open the door soon.
My wife contacted them and was informed "this sometimes happens" and "it's not through misuse". Sounds good right? Then she hit us with "$150 to fix it, and you have to detach and return the door to Westral or pay more for a guy to come out".
Their guarantee says "a full warranty against faulty products irrespective of age" and "The guarantee does not extend to damage caused by accident, misuse or abuse of the product and does not cover depreciation through ordinary wear and tear. This guarantee is in addition to any rights you may have under any relevant legislation."
Obviously we've only ever opened and closed the door like a normal person would and considering there's an identical latch at the bottom of the door that continues to function normally, it's not bloody wear and tear either!
I've written them an email now so hopefully the wife was just speaking to an idiot, but damn, can you believe it?
Anyone have a link to 'relevant legislation' that i might throw in their faces should they still try and charge us?
Edit: someone's coming to 'have a look' for free on Friday now ... we'll see how that goes

At 87 years old and having lost his wife earlier in the year to an aneurysm; we're preparing for the worst, whilst hoping for the best. :o
I hope the best does come to be.

Security cameras don't deter stubborn people. Some people are irrational & have no sense of respect thy neighbour.
I recommend you put these phrases into action: :p
Peace through tyranny.
Everything is fodder.
Lesser creatures are playthings of my will.

Cheers guys; he's currently in a semi-conscious state at the Royal North Shore, he simply wants to "go" though... to be honest I'm not surprised by this, nor can I blame him. :(
Whatever happens, I just hope it's as painless as possible. :o

organising payment for something i ordered over the net and found paypal to be the way to go, but, I am find all the verification of cards and such both cumbersome and outright annoying.
the reloadable cards for use on the net for purchases are a good idea but they take a while to update and I find them generally cumbersome. Have attached one to the paypal thing but waiting for verification. Painful. With computers it should take only seconds.
thoughts? experiences?

I had an uncle who departed 'on his own terms' earlier this year after his asthma/allergies and Parkinsons became unbearable.
There is only so much you can do. :(

Did you have to scan documents and that sort of thing? Yeah, it can take a few days.

Luckily I didn't have to scan documents. But I do wish that Australia had some kind of universal identification system, where you didn't have to have a billion points (center link) or half a dozen passwords with all the silliness and restrictions that go with them. Many will disagree, but maybe something biometric (and painless) and instant. Thoughts?:D

Just went to buy Ace of Spades 75% on Steam ($3.74) and it was at 2 minutes left when my Dad went to buy it. Guess who didn't get the game. :(

So I went for a ride yesterday and at the last second decided to hit up a jump but didn't really leave myself enough time to set up for it. Anyway, my feet weren't properly positioned and one foot slipped. Lets just say that the pedals I affectionately refer to as 'shin shredders' lived up to their name :(
