Just picked up a BH Ultimate Predaking from Kmart Clarkson. $69. They had another 5 on the shelf. I suspect they have more out back, when I phoned to speak to the toy section the guy said they had heaps of them. There were also some Ultimate OP's, didn't check the price but I believe they are going for $79.

Edit: Damn, opened it and found one of the horns on his bot head was broken. Back to the store for a replacement tomorrow. Also the light gimmick didn't work on this one. :(

2nd edit: Ok, so no batteries included (:o). But replaced with another and I must say this is one awesome figure. Looks great amongst the rest of the TFPrime figures! :)

Very cool actually. Simple but very striking paint apps, terrific shoulders and the hammer is certainly impressive. The bulge on the sides in truck mode to accommodate the shoulders is very obvious, but not as weird in person as it looked in the stock photos.

I think Ultra Magnus is a much better use for the mold than Weaponizer Prime ever was, to be honest. I cringe whenever an Optimus Prime toy has a faux windshield chest instead of using the truck modes windshield, but am perfectly fine with it for Magnus.

I'll post pics in... uh.. the appropriate section later tonight or tomorrow if nobody beats me to it.

You know what, I do retract that statement. And I apologise for it.

Having worked in retail (not a department store, but a major electronics/software/big box retailer) for a few years, I'm aware at how crappy staffing limitations can be, and how demands/merching schedules/stock delays can be.

That being said, it's a bit disappointing to have no-one pick up a call five times. To then ask to be put through to a manager to be informed that the last two calls went to a manager and were unanswered. The feeling I had at this point was that the store was devoid of staff and was surviving on a switchboard operator and self-service check-outs. To then take what would be at least a one hour round trip to find that yes, the shelf is now empty. I'm sure you can see my frustration there.

Anyway, I apologise to both you, and your staff. I think that between calling around 5 Big Ws today, I found most staff to be borderline disinterested, unwilling, or unable to assist in the most basic manner (and no, I'm not specifically referring to talking Transformers to them). I found 4 Big W staff members (via phone or instore) helpful today, and two of them work in your store. One was previously mentioned, and one was a lady I neglected to mention earlier, (purely because I forgot and was killing time on the phone before a movie started) restocking shelves who I politely asked if she could check a large size box on the trolley in front of her. She was polite, helpful, and cheery. I specifically called back to the switchboard before closing to compliment one of your staff directly as, as I said, I previously worked in retail and damn well know that you hear every complaint, but rarely the compliments.

That being said, I do think it's fair to comment on customer service, pro or con in a thread that is specific to retail shopping. I just think I should have used a little more tact.

Happy to PM you tomorrow, and further, as you're the manager, I've got a letter to type tomorrow commending one of your staff members.

So what happens is, due to the amount of stock for toysale, we push everything out. If we suspect it will sellout before the sale starts or if online sells out before the in store date, we remove the item from the shelf.

To the minute no comms have come down about omega but my store was down to 4 left so I removed them until next Thursday. I do not know if this was the case at other stores

Incidentally, Target's prices for the Toy Sale started early, before 6pm. They covered all price check points (yeah, classy lying to the customers instead of merely turning them off) and the place was full of catalogue signage anyway, despite disclaimers saying prices start at 6pm (is that even legal? to advertise it in store, then have disclaimers saying those prices aren't correct?). Long story short, bought an Arkham Asylum Breakout Lego set, and returned the one that I bought a fortnight ago. Saving? $50. Also picked up a TMNT Metalhead (Target exclusive) for $12. All at 5:30pm.

Went to Target Innaloo specifically to pick up YotS Magnus today and he's already gone!! Checked with staff, all the way up to managerial level (hey, I didn't want to waste more time) and they confirmed no more stock, and no more to arrive!! Grrrr.... there were at least 8 last week!

Anyway, they had new BH Deluxes there, but it's in an aisle somewhere separate from the usual spot... and rather weird it's straight to Wave 3 without having ever seen Wave 2!! Got this big price sign as if it's on sale, but obviously not...

he is fatimus prime but if you got omega supreme, you might as well get fatimus as they can fuse together! You probably wouldn't display it like that but it's nice to have that option.

Almost all masterpieces will see so for them to bring in imports would be a good start. As long as prices are not off the market I can grab and support local. A common reminder that a lot of us check online prices so pricing way above would not sell any at all.

Empire did had some Binaltech at reasonable prices before.
I dont expect them to take too many metroplex, and if they do, it should be takara version.

Yeah, as I understand it the paint problem with Starscream's head is pretty much a line wide QC issue... i.e. you're probably not going to find a properly painted one out of the box. Haven't heard about the Wheeljack issue as yet.

A few of the new Botshots Scourge, Brawl, Op at various Coles/Woolies around Rockingham and Mandurah yesterday. Picked up Scourge from Meadow Springs. No Metroplex either.:p

It never used to be like that, The local Toyworld in the late 90's early 2000's used to get things in earlier. They even got things in when they were rare in Australia. Unfortunately they closed a couple of weeks ago:(

I had some difficulty the last time with YOTS Omega, I am unsure how this pans out. I might just go Morley tonight.

My advice? Buy it at Target prior to the sale to guarantee you get one, then grab another one on Thursday, and return one on the full price receipt.

Its exactly what I did in the mid-year sales with the Lego Arkham Asylum.

Target Joondalup had 2 on the shelf, no room for any more. I suspect they have a bucket load out the back, because I went to the service desk with one in my trolley, then went back to the section and it had been filled back up to 2 again. So yep, there should be plenty there, if none on the shelf ask them to look out the back.

I got it at bullcreek target. They only had one on the shelf but I got them to get me a new one. Guy said they had a lot outback.

Silly right? I am a bit disappointed with Bull Creek being is the regular Target I go to. Such a Toy should have at least 5 on display. The target in Morley did well. I be purchasing from them for any similar situations again.

Is either THIS or they do not want to sell this toy at discounted price. Glad I gotten mine. Thanks everyone who contributed in sighting it.
