Target Universe Voyagers - for those wanting to take advantage of 15% off $25 for Universe Voyagers, Target Perth has a fair few Blades, Blaster, and the ubiquitous Dropshots, while Bullcreek is the place to go for Inferno, Leo Prime, that Cybertron cement mixer repaint, and also Dropshot (and they have heaps of them all). Both have new RotF stock too, but Big W has the best prices as usual. Target Bullcreek had a few Human Alliance Bumblebees too.
The Ice-cream twins are nowhere to be found, sadly.

Target Freo has the new RotF stock, and one or 2 Stealth Lockdown packs on clearance.

Found a Universe Sidswipe in Myers Perth, but 1: that was midday and it may well be gone and 2: aside from that there's not much there you can't get from other stores for less money.

Toyworld Freo has new stock, and is so far the only place I've seen that has RotF Ransack and Depth Charge (didn't get either, Ransack looks interesting but I'll wait for sales down the track) - everywhere else had heaps of the other Scouts (Dirt Boss looks to be the slowest mover thus far) but not them. Also of note are that they've priced Movie1 Voyager Megatron, Animated Cybertron mode Megatron, and 2 Voyager Bulkheads at $30, as well as a few other bits and pieces.

Kmart Kardinya had Leader Prime and Megatron for $79 today, I wasn't there myself but my father who I sent to get me one stated he saw 6 Megatrons and 3 Primes of which he bought one. My God the new Prime is just a stunning example of engineering art. If you are on the fence got off it and go buy one!

They are idiots, I work at Big W and the hasbro rep was in on Tuesday and told us that the official austrailan release date was Thur 28/5 but obviously they couldnt change the sign on the boxes that states 30/5. This was communicated to all Big W stores

Toyworld Freo has the HA BB. Pretty cool lookin but for $40 (or was it $50, dam, cant remember, sorry) it was well beyond my means at the moment.

They also had at least some wave 2 deluxes (saw Smokescreen (jazz repaint)) and wave 2 legends (picked up Megatron).

Target Freo still has lots of TFU Infernos if anyone is still looking for him. They still have most of wave 1 ROTF, didnt see a Sideswipe though.

Saw pretty much all of ROTF wave 1 at Rockingham Kmart today. Whole isle full of TF stuff (inc FABs and all those other lines that I dont pay much attention to :o). Also TFA 2-packs: Shockwave/Bumblebee and Sunstorm/Rachet.
Was pleasantly surprised -- not expecting to ever see TFA Shockwave/Longarm on shelves in Aust. Was in a bit of a rush (spent alot of time with ROTF Starscream :cool: in my hands going "...ummmmmm...") so didnt check price of TFA 2-packs.

Seems to be the norm - Kmart Garden City has Voyager Mixmaster and Megatron, plus Sunstorm/Ratchet and Purple Shockwave/Bumblebee.. heaps of both, together with pretty much all of ROTF Wave 1 still.

I believe only Toyworld stores have wave 2 scouts, most likely because they got a condensed wave 1 & 2 assortments. It is all a bit over the place considering:
K-mart - All Wave 1 + Wave 3 Voyagers
Toyworld - All Wave 1 + Wave 2 Scouts + Half Wave 2 Deluxes (Basically, a Wave 1 revision assortment) + Wave 2 Voyagers.

Also, personally I count Soundwave and Bumblebee as a Preview wave, therefore Sideswipe, etc. are Wave 1 and Skids, Chromia, etc. are Wave 2.
The Jazz repaint is Smokescreen. If you do see Skids, a green car make sure you tell me before anyone else.:p:D

Yeah... I'm not really sure about that. I read some sources suggesting that Ratchet & Fallen are kinda 'Wave 1.5', whatever that's supposed to mean.

With toys held back for a 'release date' I guess it meant that the first 2-3 waves have been backing up at Hasbro by the time they started releasing them to stores. So some stores got just first wave cases, and others have been seen with wave 2 and 3 cases of some size classes.
I think in this first month, look around the different store chains (if possible in your area), as you will find different items in different store chains. But by the time the movie comes out, we'll probably see most places caught up as they restock.

The recolour of Jazz is a sad attempt by Hasbro to be Smokescreen, but yes, would look more like Skids with that dark blue and little bit of red...

You've probably seen the catalogue - spend over $100 and get a free voyager.

I picked up 2 Ultras I don't have - Darkwing and Countdown - 59.99 each and got to pick a free Voyager

Now - they didn't have anything I don't already have so I picked a Tread Bolt to open but they had Heavy Load, Dropshot and TreadBolts (lots of TB's)..

And ofcourse the new ROTF range which I'll pass on until further down the track, but I did pick up an OP Voyager a week or so ago in the Target sale @ 15% Off. The $99 ROTF Leader OP's @ TRU are overpriced.

Wave 1 Voyagers all still there, but oddly only 1 Ironhide - I would've thought most would pass on the remold/recolour.
Wave 1 Leaders, Wave 1 Scouts, Wave 1 to 3 Legends all available.

Thanks for this INSANE tip-off! The Japanese transformers were from the galaxy force and robot masters line. I only got what I coveted so theres plenty left for others :D. They close down on Tuesday so get in quick.

Belmont K-Mart has a 2 full shelves of ROTF now, at the seasonal section/front of the store. They had Interrogator Barricade, Brawl, Cannon Bumblebee, Smokescreen and both variants of Breakaway at the same time.

Belmont Big W had one of those merchandisers Griffin posted about elsewhere - stacked with Mudflap, Ravage, Cannon Bumblebee and i think Barricade as well. Hope there's still some there next week!

i ran right past Kyle got my 2 jetfires went to pay, and they REFUSED! i argued with the guy and asked for the manager... and she basically said im full of shit and they dont price check unless it is already in their own catalogue.

i used you bumbl3b33 as a refernece that you already got one and Kyle, and she wanted me to prove which register and they shoudlnt of done it in the first place.

I even showed them the image of someones reciept from Liverpool target, and she said this is BULLCREEK MATE!!!! :mad:

When I went in the girl at the counter was very nice, I asked can you price match and she said yes, I showed her the Big W brochure and she processed the sale. I am wondering though if maybe she rung it up as an Optimus Prime because I heard her think out loud as she processed the sale and said something like "hmmm optimus...".
I am looking here at the receipt, she made the deduction of $32.26 using "Reason Code 3" not sure if that means price match on the Target system.

When I went in the girl at the counter was very nice, I asked can you price match and she said yes, I showed her the Big W brochure and she processed the sale. I am wondering though if maybe she rung it up as an Optimus Prime because I heard her think out loud as she processed the sale and said something like "hmmm optimus...".
I am looking here at the receipt, she made the deduction of $32.26 using "Reason Code 3" not sure if that means price match on the Target system.

Even though the sale is still about 3 weeks away, Jetfire should be out in force by then, and Target's sale price will be within a couple dollars of the current BigW/Kmart price. And even if your Targets somehow sell out before then, but you find them in a TRU, you only need the Target catalogue and they will price-match it. And maybe even Kmart and BigW if your lucky.

But yeah, it will be a painfully long wait (for me too...) :(

as soon as i saw this post i was pumped!!! i got in my car drove 45mins, 1/4 tank later i got to bullcreek target.

when i ran in i saw Kyle with 2 jetfires already, so i knew its FOR REAL!!!

i ran right past Kyle got my 2 jetfires went to pay, and they REFUSED! i argued with the guy and asked for the manager... and she basically said im full of shit and they dont price check unless it is already in their own catalogue.

i used you bumbl3b33 as a refernece that you already got one and Kyle, and she wanted me to prove which register and they shoudlnt of done it in the first place.

Kurdt gave me a phone message about the Bullcreek sighting while I was doing groceries this morning (Thanks heaps buddy! :D), and I got there within an hour. Took the Big W catalog with me but the checkout girl was a young one and had no clue about price matching so she called her superior. It took about 5 minutes for her to show up while all the customers behind me were waiting. She said "we don't price match" then just turned around and walked away. I thought it was pretty rude. :(

I was weak and bought the toy though (and I bought 2 :o ). Really have no patience at all to wait any longer haha. Thought it was funny the plastic bag cost 20c and they gave me a receipt for it.

Went to target Carousel and K mart Carousel, nothing there cept Target now having stock of the FALLEN.

So i gave in and went to Bullcreek target and spotted 4 of the 8 jetfires found earlier by u guys.

Snapped one up hoping someone there would give me a price match with Big W's awesome price; didnt' get approached by the manager with the mole like u guys did but instead someone about the same age. She explained that Target only does price matches when the product they have is on sale...

Target Rockingham had at least one Leader Jetfire that I saw (it was over by boys' clothing (I think)) All their TF stuff is spread out in 3 or 4 different spots in the store. But it sure does look like they are gearing up for their upcoming sale.

Kmart Innaloo had quite a load of Jetfires out for $69... at least 8, probably 10+ on the display. Also had plenty of Megatron & Primes. Crap thing is that there was almost no new stuff in Deluxe. Or Voyager for that matter.

Target Innaloo was most dissappointing. Allegedly Aust Biggest Toy Sale, but the TF section was still kinda stripped (well, OK, they had early wave Voyagers). And no special display... just their usual small section.

lol i chose a good jetfire, probably can't give u a photo but i can tell u what to avoid.

u know those whisker like things that come out from the side of his head? Some of the jetfires had chafed whiskers. Just look for a jetfire where his whiskers are uniform in colour (perfectly all black). Kmart would be the best place for jetfire as many ppl have been duped into thinking he may be a target exclusive since he wasn't released anywhere else but target before today (or maybe this week since i gave up looking for jetfire last week :p)

Went to Target Carousel yesterday... boy, I'd wager that this one tops the warzone descriptions easily!

Aisles were literally strewn with toys, and at one stage something flew by me and crashed into an opposite wall. Twas a couple of 8-9 year-olds, and I think it was a GI Joe something.

Anyway, looks like someone took a bazooka to the TF section, as I only saw 2 ROTF deluxe Sideways, and a few Leader Megs, and pretty much absolutely nothing of interest... except there was one Animated Samurai Prowl (which I'm not sure qualifies as 'interesting').

Found 2 Voyager Longhauls and 1 Grindor at Kmart Kardinya at about 9:15 this morning (all 3 still there when I left).

They changed their action figure section to the next aisle over. No Leader figures at all, tonnes of BB Helmets where I would assume the Leaders would be. 3 deluxe figures, Brawl, 'Bot Jet (name?) and a Trax-plated Mudflap.

TF stuff is back in its usual spot at the back of the store. Nothing new that I spotted. There still seemed to be plenty of TRU exclusive Darkwing (Dreadwind? I get the two confused) and Countdowns left.

Spotted Power Bots Optimus Prime ($79.95) tonight at Success Toyworld, I don't think this has been spotted in Perth yet has it?
They also had plenty of Jolt, Deadend, Sideswipe, Breakaway, Rampage and Bumblebee (Deluxe).
They also had quite a few voyagers, Ratchet, Demolisher, Starscream, Mixmaster and Long Haul.

I also ducked into Cockburn Gateway Big W, they had plent of Jolt, Deadend and Blazemaster. They also had plenty of Scalpel, Dunerunner and Reverb.
