My turn to visit today! At the moment still plenty of RTS but only one 1 each of Wreck-Gar, Perceptor, and Jazz remaining, and 2 Lugnuts and 3 Mindwipe redecos. Tracks, Bee & OP all >1 available. Nil Generations at all.

DOTM figures were boring common stuff at full Toyworld pricing.

Big win for me was picking up Leader Starscream for $49.99!! Only spotted one unfortunately. Strange that it's the only HFTD figure discounted, deluxes still full price @ $29.99.

Quality is actually better as far as I have read... Takara one has better colours on the robot hands-down, but Hasbro fixed a weak rivet on the rotating leg panels (black in Takara, red in Hasbro) that tended to break easily. This was a crucial fix I reckon.

Also, Hasbro weapons and accessories have better paint apps, and you get Offshoot minicon. You don't get the trailer of course, but the figure is more Hot Rod than Rodimus Prime anyway.

Oh yeh, forgot that I also saw the Darth Vader/Anakin ship thing that changes into the 4 modes, of which I can't rememerb their names. But it was the about leader sized one. One mode was Darth, one Anakin, one the imperial cruiser (?) and the rebel ship I guess. About $80 I think for that too.

Man... Bunbury toyworld has RTS g2 prime(x2)...

I'll have to check the Rockingham Toyworld since I now want a G2 Prime after Lint's "razorbeastification" of the RtS G2 Prime.
(Razorbeastification is the Klystronverse term for when a comic writer takes a mediocre toy/character and morphs it into a "hero" figure but means of a cool comic/story/etc, thereby artificially increasing the toys overall worth. See examples - BW Razorbeast, and G1 Bludgeon).

It was me that put the Sideswipe on the top of the Devastators! It had a tear in the plastic/card so threw it back.
Had an arguement with one of the staff cos only the scanning Sideswipe was $20.99 and the others were still $29.99(scanning series). He said we can only sell the ones that are scanning at $20.99 for that price. So then went and showed him the deluxes on the back end that were ticketed at $23.99 (but were scanning at $20.99 or $29.99). The scanning Ironhides, Ratchets, BBs and SS were all mixed up with the normal deluxes.

He said that they came with some character thing inside - and since there were a couple dozen to collect in blind packaging, he thought it would take a lot of gummie eating to get the set.

Sometime later.. yeah I picked up one of these guys. Just got around to opening it.. and the dudes arm snaps off? It can just hold on by those triangular meshy joins but something seems snapped off but I can't see where it would connect. Wouldn't even consider transforming him.

Quiet day today so "KIIIIDS, Pack yer bags, we're goin fer a road trip!"

And thus I bundled the wife and I (representing the kids) and verily we ventured off to the countryside and visited Joondalup. It was an exciting trip fraught with danger and too scary for this time slot. Upon reaching Joondalup, as the sound of banjoes rang in our ears, I came to the realisation that I had no idea where TRU was.

So, putting my country town knowledge to use (i.e There is one main road and everything is on that) I explored the main road and lo and behold, the faded sign of TRU didst engage mine eye from across some bushes. A turn of a corner and a short crossing of a bridge later, I was parking my valiant steed int he carpark, after narrowly avoiding some wally in a large carriage as they reversed out of their spot without looking. :/ Welcome the the styx...

When I entered the establishment, I confirmed my suspicions that I had never been here before. 1. I had no idea where it was. 2. It was dark, so very dark. Don't they have power this far out from civilisation?

It was also fairly untidy... I circumnavigated the site (to take in the views) and found on the shelves, hiding amougnts the DOTM rubbish, two cartons of deluxes. Ooo, and most importantly two Soundwaves! Tadaaah! A quick comparison later I had the better one in my hands and I wandered off to the checkout, after checking the Voyagers of course. Yup! Megatron still looks like ass.

$30 ( !!) later I had my Soundwave and we went into Lakeside for lunch, where my ability to wield chopsticks was questioned because "You don't look like you can handle chopsticks." Mayhap I shouldn't have insulted the lowly spork she offered me beforehand... But they are truly an abomination!! Perhaps the spork has a following up in this far away land.

My adventure continues, but it gets less exciting from this point on. However the moral of the lesson is, do not spurn the spork, as it appears to have some admirers.

Now they could be entirely different things , but if they're not, i guess sporks makes much more sense. Release dates are a rough estimate, based on when Hasbro expects to get the stock, and when retailers distribute them through their supply chains. It's more of a guide as to when consumers should be able to find them easily at all stockists planning to sell them (provided there aren't any production or shipping delays).
It's just better to have them early than late though.

Interested in the humans, but I think the Bumblebee is the normal Prime bee, not FE so not inclined. Slightly Skywarpy colour on Starscream as well, with lots of Purple and even more Hasbro grey. not a great bargain either at $59.95, so still $30 per deluxe with some free squishies thrown in;)

Just popped into Kmart Morley on the lookout for a cheap DOTM Shockwave. They had about 20 Optimus, but not much else. 1 Wheeljack at $15 and a couple of random DOTM deluxes. Bumblebee (no surprise there), Mudflap, golden Optimus one and a couple of others. No Human alliance either, and a wide range of Cyberverse doohikys.

But no Shockwaves...:(

Target Rockingham had a fair few TFP Commanders (including about 3 Bulkheads), Legions and Deluxes today.

Kmart Rockingham had Generations Kups and Warpaths and Wheeljacks for $15. Kmart Mandurah had a DOTM voyager Shockwave for $29.

Reject Shops have G1 Optimus figurine with 75 piece jigsaw for $5.

Red Dot has Energon Swords which make sounds for $24.

Also those Power Core Combiners 5 packs at Woolies are on clearance. Picked up 2 from Rockingham for $10.50 each but got one for $15 at Gateways last night. Not many Woolies have them now but there was 1 each of Mudslinger left at both of these stores.
