Don't sweat it you did the right thing :) Given the fact there was a single lonely warpath and many others remaining at around 5:30pm when I was there i'm pretty sure the warpaths found good homes.

A good scalper woulda cleaned out those Scourges.

Don't know if poeple are hunting these, but TW Rockingham has some mech-tech voyagers. Optimus, Megatron, Skyhammer, and Shockwave.
I myself am after Skyhammer, but was unwilling to pay TW's price of $52. Which is just ridiculous.

It's not a 'sighting' per se but I thought I'd mention it...the State Library of WA has quite a few TF comics if people are interested, I just finished the IDW Collections 2 and 3. They haven't got as far as 4 yet, but it's worth checking out.
You can order them for pick up from/through your local library too, so if you're dirt poor like me and want some TF fiction goodness hit them up.
It'll also do the library sytem some good, as the more 'clients' they get the better their funding and value under government budgets go. Don't forget you can order acquisitions, if a few come in for the same item there's a good chance they'll get it in.

Hunt for the Decepticon voyagers and leaders (Leader Starscream only $50 zomg) - they had Starscream, Ratchet, a few Primes and a few Strafes. Those prices are a bit much. Toyworld midland had jolt for 29.99 and DOTM voyagers for 39.99 (but no shockwaves or skyhammers).

I picked up a grapple, the last seaspray, a leader starscream, and a mighty muggs soundwave for 24.99, 24.99, 49.99, and 9.99 respectively.

They had like 10 or so Lugnuts + strafes. There's like only 4-5 grapples left and they still have ROFT voyagers! There was like 3 bludgeons, 2 mindwipes, a couple of ironhides and 1 defense optimus prime.

I was at Midland Toyworld yesterday (Saturday) and noticed only the RTS deluxes were at $15. All the other deluxes were full price ($30) - even the Bumblebee shown in the catalogue! :confused::mad:
I asked the checkout girl about it and she went on about they got different shipments that had different prices.. even though the HFTD deluxes have been there for aaaaages. :rolleyes:

- Big W had their display out with Jet prime and the Ark however no new deluxes only wave 1 - 2 :(

Using the Kmart catalogue, I went to 3 different Kmarts tonight and had to argue over the pricing of DOTM Voyagers, as the catalogue price is $12, but scans at normal retail of $23.75.

The catalogue only shows the images of the 2 Nascar repaints (which actually do scan at $12. The description does only say 'Transformers Deluxe', with no mention of Selected Styles.

Needless to say, I was victorious in all 3 bouts :D, totalling 6 DOTM voyagers, but just wanted to share in case any of you do run into this.

P.S. I am also aware of the fact that the catalogue only really applied to those deluxe figures advertised, but hey, if there's no small print and no catalogue updates, then we're entitled to it :)

I think he meant Deluxe, but you get the idea... it seems that Kmart did the same thing as TRU - in that they included their store exclusive deluxes in the catalogue, but since they used a generic size term, they have to sell to anything that matches that term.

BTW, if your kmart didn't put out their Rally Deco duo, like the one at Garden City, just hassle them to look out the back. I think that store thought they were the same as the regular deluxes, so didn't put any out because the pegs were already full of old stock.

Thanks, but I didn't even have to resort to loopholes this time! I just showed the girl at the counter the catalogue, she checked they were in the same size class, and everything was fine. Got a Crankcase, Laserbeak and Sideswipe for $36! :p

So instead went to innaloo, that kmart I picked up a laserbeak a the checkout, no problems. So let that be a lesson to you :)

Went by Innaloo after work - crazy I know, but the movie seems to have revived the excitement of these 'hunts' for me ;)

Kmart:
Not a bad range, all DOTM wave 1 Voyagers & all Leaders out.
Deluxes a little limited to shelf-warmers Bees, Crankcase, and more common ones. No Topspin.
Generations have been decimated - I saw 2 Wheeljacks only.
NB there are two areas of TFs, although this may be cut after the sale.

Target:
A bit of an eye-opener in that half the floor space has been converted into what looks like a TRU.
DOTM Voyagers & Leaders as per Kmart above.
Deluxes again mainly more common ones, although had a couple of TC & Laserbeaks (is it me or is this guy being snapped up quick after the film showed?).
Again, no Topspin.
NB as for Kmart, there are two areas of TFs.

For those at joondalup...i saw an asian edition of bumblebee at big w! was tempted to buy it! but god...the packaging was horrid! looked like it had a boxing match with the english versions of the toy. Scanned at the same price as well as the english editions.

It was great to see the difference. The main difference i saw that the chest bit on the american edition has some bits coated in a vomit like yellow whilst the japanese version uses the same yellow throughout.

Midland and apparently Kalamunda Toyworld have an in-store promotion that ends on the 16th. It's a sheet in store (one per customer) with a bunch of coupons that give either a 50 (only one of these), 30 25 or 20% discount. You choose which one.

Conditions include one coupon per item and the item must be full-priced. I used my sheet to get a RTS deluxe for $15 and another for $21.

Midland and apparently Kalamunda Toyworld have an in-store promotion that ends on the 16th. It's a sheet in store (one per customer) with a bunch of coupons that give either a 50 (only one of these), 30 25 or 20% discount. You choose which one.

Conditions include one coupon per item and the item must be full-priced. I used my sheet to get a RTS deluxe for $15 and another for $21.

I've heard about this, are the vouchers capped in value? I heard that the individual item had to be no more than $30 for the 30% discount.

Target Midland finally put out their stock... all of the shy DOTM Deluxe wave 2 spotted, with stacks of Topspin and Jolt (7+ of each) on a shelf near the kitchen porcelain (not the usual toy area).

Strangely didn't spot any of the 2nd wave Voyagers... maybe they're saving it until the last minute before Thursday sale.

Damn them for holding back... coulda saved $8 from my ebay order :p

There was a clerk watchin the transformers section. I took the one top spin that was visible from the start. There may be more behind. There were 3 or so target exclusive starscreams that i decided not to get.

Also thought myself out of buying the black cyberverse megatron n blue ironhides (these were stocked nicely).

Still plenty of meg n optimus classics 2 packs but they all had either a shoddy paint job on at least 1 figure. There was one that was almost perfect for both...but primes mouth piece was scratched!

Few jetwing primes going for 149.

I bought wwe all stars for 29 dollars as well as the sims for 35 (ps3 versions). Could have gotten the sims cheaper on ebay but...i dont like those platnium editions :0.

Ya they're all great molds... although personally I favour RTS Tracks over Wheeljack... I reckon the mold works better on Tracks, with better colours, but one can also get them all :p

Now, if only they'll tell us when Dino will be out!

If I had to choose I would go with Kup, he has a much more solid transformation and goes together better, however they are both nice representations in each mode.

Is this just the mechtech deluxe topspin? If so theres a whole slug of them at the glassware section of Midland Target. Also more Jetwing Primes than you can you can poke a stick at.

Also theres 2 copies of the Transformers Vault book in the book section :D

Kups getting a re-release in November as part of generations wave 9. A case of 8 will ship as: 2 junkions(wreckgar repaint), 2 skyshadows(thunderwing repaint), 2 kups, 1 wheeljack and 1 warpath.

Kups Gould be easy as to get a hol of then as long as multiple stockier pick up generations once the movie stuff thins out.

Thanks for the update. I was also there in Morley to watch Captain America, good movie. At least it wasn't a total loss, I picked up the Cyberverse commander and legion 2-pack Megatron vs Bumblebee. Just because I can make my Megatron display a bit more movie accurate with the shotgun-style gun it had.;)
