If you are having so much trouble, may be an idea to ask someone from another state for assistance, as we have seen quite a number in Sydney, mainly Blacktown where there were apparently mountains of him.

I saw this post on Saturday. I was in charge of my work that day so I let everyone go early at 4.15 and raced off from Northbridge to Midland. Got green lights all the way to Bassendean, which has never happened before. Got into Big W with 20 minutes to spare and there Bludgeon was.

He's gone now. :D

Thanks again guys, sorry if I have the wrong forum for this post. I am particularly fond of the paintjob of the original dropkick figure (decepticon logo over hood and bonnet). I've seen a pic of the red repaint (blowpipe) but not the blue one. I will prob persist with obtaining one through ebay, on that note I think I've found one for a reasonable price...

Autocon I'm pretty sure I recall seeing a couple of recon ironhides at kmart or target at joondalup a couple of weeks ago, not sure if they are still there but could be worth a check (or if you live far away maybe another member could check for you?) Think they may also have had some red rampages, but can't be sure. If not Kmart Clarkson may have one (again I'm sure I've spotted these somewhere and I usually don't go to many other shopping centres...)

For the seventh time in this thread, I'm so glad that my local Toyworld is reasonably out of the way. I went back two days after the figures were put out and most of them were still there - all the ones down on the flats got cleared out fairly fast.

I realise in saying that that I may draw scalpers attention to it but to be honest if they're that desperate that they're going to drive all the way out here to make marginal profit on a $30 dollar action figure they probably need it more than me.

I was actually waiting to see if the employee would open up all those boxes he brought out, but upon closer inspection, the visible boxes did not have Transformers labels on them and I was in a rush anyhow so I left quickly. Hey guys, just got back from Joondalup. BigW had about 3 Seasprays (after I took one), 2 Drifts (after I took one), 2 Brimstones (after I took one - he looks kinda cool), 1 Gen Thrust, a couple of Bludgeons (Target had a couple too) and a couple of Voyager Ratchets and Ironhides.

not sure if this helps but we will definitely NOT have HA Mudflap in July, but at the end of the year. Since the Toyfair 2010 report said that three HA will be available in mid year (Sideswipe, Skids, Bumblebee?) and the last three (Barricade, Mudflap and Jazz) at year end

A huge bunch of HFTD scouts too.



The starscream toy is pretty awesome in bot mode but suffers the same fate as jetfire with the kibble in jet mode.

His audio gimmick is pretty lame imo.

But other then that...his bot mode is just too cool!

On something completely different and quite exciting (to me anyway), is the new Hunt for Decepticons Leader Class Starscream! (a.k.a. upcoming MP Movie Starscream) and on a lesser note also the Hunt for Decepticon Leader Class Battle Hooks Optimus Prime

Also saw TF: WFC Optimus Prime and TF Generations Thrust.

All the above TF were sighted at David Jones, Perth CBD.

I got the last HfD Starscream on the shelf but they may restock later on for those of you who are interested!

Really liked HfD Starscream he's a very solid robot mode / accurate jet mode with nice lights and sounds (disappointingly the Starscream voice is not the real actor in the movie!)

Lots of restocking going on - I'm considering picking up another ROTF Brawn.

Still nothing new though (ie we're still at wave 1 of PCC, Generations, and Autobot Alliance), although the Autobot Alliance deluxes (yellow box stuff) have filtered through to all the shops now (were previously only seen at TRU).

Empire haven't got anything new going on, same shelf of a few Japan Animated Megs, Primes, Bees and Screamers, and a bunch of Alternity Primes and Megatrons.

Yeah he actually reminded me more of Slapdash than G1 Leadfoot. If he had a headsculpt more like either of them I'd be sold, but alas no.

okay went down to inalloo shops this evening and found:

Kmart:
about 10 each of haman alliance bb, skids and sideswipe- i would have purchased them but i just think $50 is way to much for the figures.
alswell as a heap of hftd deluxes( ravage, bb, ironhide, and that plane one(i dont recall the name)
other than those they also had a bunch of ultimate bb's and 2 big devastators aswell as the hftd scouts and a few of the legends(no new ones at all)

Target:
the same hftd deluxes and scouts and legends as kmart aswell as many many more ultimate bb's. they also had some of the 2 pack deluxe sideways and wheelie, and the 2 pack voyager optimus with i think it was deluxe bb. the also had a bunch of legends devys

out of all of this i only picked myself up a deluxe ironhide which i must say is a great figure. highly suggest him for any fan of the character, a heap better than the voyager as he has no floppy chest pieces, it all tabs into place:D

"Warriors of Three Worlds" scout 3-pack $35. Interestingly the pack advertised Universe Sideswipe and Galvatron as "also available". I guess this pack has been around for a while

Kmart have a stack of TF Generations: Warriors from 3 worlds 25th anniversary gift packs. On top of that Big W also has a bulk lot of Human Alliance Sideswipe in as well.

Warriors from 3-worlds is just 3 Cybertron Scout toys. It has the 25th anniversary bit on the box, but is actually Universe, not Generations (easy mistake, since it is over a year old, while Universe was still being used).

Generations Drift had hit Kmart Morley last night. There were two on the shelves.

There were also the latest RPMs... I think they're called Speed Stars or something like that.

Toys R Us have Marvel-Transformers crossovers with a $35 price tag on the shelves but they scan as $20 at the price checker and register...:cool:

I just can't justify the 150 for that given it's a full $50 more than the seeker mold, which is more complex.

I think it's more to do with the fact that he's an electronic figure as well.

I think he has more diecast parts as well (not too sure but...is it me or is my skywarp/starscream like 95% plastic? i'm not sure which pieces are diecast lol).

also the takara edition is like 150 and 48 dollars for postage on ebay and iirc...this edition of the figure doesn't come with "waiterbot" (the apron, metal dish with the cups).

Don't forget RK guys, their price works out considerably cheaper at the moment!

Remember both MP Prime and Megatron had electronics as well, so i doubt that's entirely the reason for the higher cost of Grimlock.

MP prime and megatron cost more then any other cos they were huge as well. secondly...megatron won't see the light of day outside of japan unless imported (which i did :D)

Also wasn't the hasbro anniversary prime a similar price to grimlocks?
