Fountain Gate SC has finally opened their new wing and it has a toy kingdom. If you are missing any of the RTS deluxes they have multiples of perceptor, jazz, g2 prime and a bunch of wreckgars for $14.99. They also have the rts legends for $3.99 as well as bot shot launchers and one packs. The TFPrime deluxes are 29.99 each but they had a ratchet an arceeso I didn't complain. They have a bunch of Soundwave and wheeljack too.

They do explicitly say the include "Transformers technology" so I'll include the sighting here. If you ever wanted to kitbash a classics Twin Twist and Topspin, there's a tank one and a jet one that would be perfect.

Today I was looking through the clearance bins at Myer Eastland and I found an RID Voyager Bulkhead. It was part of the clearance, it looked like it had just been put there since there was no other space for it. I went back to the TF section once I found this to look for starscream but couldn't find the voyagers anywhere... kinda wierd to just have a bulkhead haha :P Anyway I didn't pick it up since it was $60 :/

They also had a dreadwing and ironhide, but dreadwing insisted on coming home with me :)

Edit: thinking about the plastic these are made from, it remind me of rescue bots optimus prime in terms of the feel of the plastic.

It was the first time I'd see that deluxe Prime in vehicle mode. It doesn't look too bad. May consider it on the sale.

I also kinda like the Weaponizer figures and might get Bumblebee. His arms are too long when standing straight, but otherwise it looks good. I also couldn't tell if the weapons can actually lock in to their non-deployed mode. That would be a deal breaker if they couldn't.

The Optimus Prime with trailer toy does lie to us though. Black Soundwave? White Ratchet? No, those are not also available! :p

I think that's a first sighting of the Barricade Remote Control car (I had to get one in America), and it was released about 2 years ago now. The Bumblebee one is the one collecting dust at a few DJs for about $60 (typical - I wait and wait and wait for it to go on clearance at DJs, and end up paying full price last month... and now they are about half that price at Toyworld/Kingdom).

The Lights & Sounds are a first sighting, as they were not meant to be released here at all. New Zealand were supposed to get them, but not us for some reason.

The other place in the CBD with a nice display shelf of G1 stuff is All Star Comics on Lonsdale St. Smaller selection than Comics R Us, but the owner is a nice hippy dude. They've only been around for less than 18 months, so there's less people traffic and I find that the comics are less likely to show marks of being handled.

I know of the dinobots, combiner teams that Gardenvale Collectables and the Gofigure places sell, but I thought CRU was pretty good?
When I've bought things from there, they usually pull out a guide (want one!) of the figure and accessories to make sure i haven't been ripped off.
Not jumping to their defense, but interested to know what may be fake.

Only one that looked dodgy (to my knowledge) was the Shockwave, but I thought it might have been a diaclone or the radioshack version?

I picked up my arcee and Ratchet as well as my FOC wave 1 toys at Toy Kingdom, which as far as I know is not in the same retail chain Toy World so I don't know that TF Pride wave 2 has made it past some smaller chain toy retailers.

That said, I saw one each of Deluxe Ratchet and Arcee at Target at Forest Hill only on Friday night (sorry guys, I picked them up for someone I knew was after them). Whenever I go to a shopping centre I'll have a wander down the toy aisles to see if there is anything new, however I've not seen anything past Wave 1 TFPride nor any FOC toys at Kmart, Big W, TOys R Us or Target, aside from Friday night, nor at any Toy worlds near me (forest hill and mountain gate).

Hopefully, if Target Forest hill had wave 2, we'll start seeing wave 2 appear at other Target stores as well.

I think it was about two years ago that Toyworld bought/merged with Toy Kingdom, but since each store is an independently-owned franchise, individual store-owners may have been allowed to rebrand to Toyworld (http://www.mytoyworld.com.au/company.php) or keep the Toy Kingdom branding (depending on which they felt worked best for their area).

And since they aren't a chain store (like BigW or Kmart), stock found in one store doesn't guarantee it being found in any or all others.

Saw TF:Prime Ratchet and Arcee and FOC Shockwave and Prime at Target Waverley Gardens. Big W Southland had Arcee (but no Ratchet). No Combaticons or any FOC at the Toyworld at Southland.

Big W had DOTM Leaders on clearance for $75. Target had those DOTM Tin book cases in a clearance bin too, just under $20.

Target had the new DVD volumes Prime "Alien Threat" and the Remastered G1 2.2 collection (nice "exclusive Australian" cover on it too with the new s2 characters).

Possibly - they did get Wave 1 FOC figures relatively early, they don't seem to regularly restock, and there isn't many other Hasbro products. Hasbro does sell to small independent shops though.

Yes, they import TFs through the same distributors they get comics from. They've been doing this since at least the Universe/Classics 2.0 line. The toys are for the American market, the giveway is often they will sometimes have stickers promoting the US network the cartoon's on that Hasbro Australia toys don't have.

Minotaur 2 days ago had Prime Rumble (looked cool) i just couldn't justify paying $30 for a small figure but it did look a lot better than the Prime Ironhide they had. They had 1 of each and some older Prime figures.

Think Ill hold off on all Prime figures until next year because the Beast Hunters line looks so much better than the current prime line and I'm not a fan of double dipping. Ps, Beast Hunters Wheeljack looks amazing!:D

Is there one good Target with the whole set available? I live in the CBD and would prefer to catch the full team in one outing via public transport.

Chady pretty much empty on new stock but on the off chance you want to buy 10000 BumbleBees then go there cause they got a lot of them.

TRU Chady had three MP-10's this morning when I called, two which were reserved. I reserved the third and picked it up this afternoon.

The staff didn't know if they would get any more but said that if they did it would be unlikely that they would be put on the shelves due to the number of people asking for them!?!

Best to save yourself a trip and just call the store.

hey this mp10 prime is it the same mold as the 20th anniversary one that came out in 2004?

Anyways sightings wise..... non of them in frankston tru, though they had a legends class soundwave and the optimus maximus playset down to $40

No this Optimus is an entirely new design. It's smaller than the previous one (about the same size as MP Rodimus and Grimlock) but far more cartoon accurate.

Hey guys, just been to the Chatty store and pickup my MP Prime on reserve and there were two left on the shelf so if anyone still looking for them there are a couple left. I rang this morning as well and the guy said they had 9 in store but I'm not sure if it includes the ones on reserve though.

probably mentioned back somewhere but just incase i missed it, TARGET GEELONG WAURN PONDS has the kreo mini figures out now for $4 each. these guys are numbered with a serial on packet. so if you get a different number on each packet you will get a different kreo(n) in each as oppose to what i just did and get 3 scorpies. And deluxe FOC bruticus combaticons where there also. $28 each. damn they look cheap and nasty.

It does help actually, thanks! :) Seems like I've missed the boat to nab the set at $18/piece when they weren't scanning up (sighted by Cluthkick and Chileno20). May skip on them now unless a really awesome X'mas sale comes along since I'm getting G2 Bruticus and the Wreckers/Xaaron repaint.

Yer i know, it makes me sick when i see videos or posts of them saying 12$ for a deluxe is over price when I've only ever got a deluxe for that price once during the DOTM run when kmart screwed up on pricing and i got TRU to price match. Its not just how small the figures are these days but how incredible cheap the plastics are, I'd say almost half the figures I buy I have to take back because of defects or just plain broken which is annoying. Same at Kmart Fountain gate, all 5 FoC Combaticons with a couple of double ups, $23.95, (only I left them all there:)). Target had 3 of them, but not ranged in yet.

FOC: LOTS of Shockwaves, 3ish of Jazz and around 4-5 Primes, 0 Combaticons which makes me a sad panda.
Prime: The usual to many Bumble Bee's, 2-3 Wheeljacks, 1 Arcee, 2 Ratchets and I think a couple Cliffjumpers. The weaponizer (i think, leader class for like $50-$60) Bumble Bee.
DOTM: Leader Bumble Bee and quite a few Optimus Prime with the flight tech (forget what its called) for $99. They will probably go to around $70 in the next month as they have been slowly going down in price laltey.

Everything els had the usual ridiculous Target pricing.

Watergardens (Big-W/Target/Toyworld) had some TFPrime figures and some FoC deluxes (Optimus Prime, Jazz, Shockwave). Also saw some Roadbusters warming the pegs there. Toyworld also had some DOTM deluxe bumblebees and one each of FoC Brawl and Swindle. Didn't see any of the other combiners.

Myer in the CBD had an Air Raid and some TFPrime figures. Guess I'll pass on the 3-for-the-price-of-2 offer which they were advertising in-store.
