Well last week I bought a protectobot with no price and couldn't be scanned. I then convinced the lady it was a legend cause thats all they had tagged on the shelf. Then she was like ok, took the tag to the counter and paid $19.

Found in local toy shop today called Okie's Toy Warehouse they had the first wave of the RID mini cons I picked myself up slipstream and divebomb but they also had the dragon one and the dog type one cant remember there names and about 3 of each character they were 9.95 each.
They only have 2 stores one in Shepparton and one in Albury so wont help most but as far as I know possibly first sighting of these in aus? unless I'm wrong...?

The Dino Sparkers are indeed new... being cleared out at Toyworld it seems.
They were on a product listing for release here with all the other Movie toys (I think as a BigW exclusive), but the stores must have cancelled their interest in those crappy lumps of plastic. (the spark feature is contained within the toy as a safety feature, so you need to roll them in the dark to properly see the sparks... and the dark coloured Grimlock is so dark, you can barely see the sparks inside it)

Watergardens Reject Shop had plush toy Moviverse Optimus & Grimlock (no Bumblebee).

The mini TF4 ones... very nice, and very recommended if people don't have them yet (especially the Grimlock).

They are about fist sized, so small enough for the desk at work or home.

I didn't see if it was still sealed but I'm presuming it was sold, opened and returned. I also don't know if Perceptor's microscope is supposed to be a working one. So I'm left speculating: was it returned complete, or did someone buy it, remove a gun or a missile or something they needed, then return it with a stupid reason (ie "I was expecting a working microscope")? Was it meant to have a working microscope and this one didn't, and TRU staff thought that this decreased the value by only $10? Who is going to buy something that is faulty/doesn't work but that is still overpriced by a minimum of $50 (based on what you can get it for elsewhere)?

The new release of Perceptor does come with slides that you should be able to see using Perceptor's microscope mode.

The original Perceptor definitely was a working microscope but a very, very basic one.

I was in the area and checked into Lobos Collectibles yesterday, there was an MP 5 for 299 and a few G1s of various conditions. Today I went past Just Collectibles and they had a MP 13 for $400 and an MP 4 for $550 lol. They actually had a few more transformers than last time I went past a while ago, the guy said they were getting ready for the expo on the weekend. I saw a G1 astrotrain with the box in pretty average condition for $85 I think and a pretty good looking boxed Scourge for $60 plus a few re-issues, binaltech and others. Good luck. I waited for more than 20 minutes after I paid for it only to find out that the girl at the back came with Blue Streak, not Starscream. During which time I asked the cashier girl why it was taking so long to get one item from the back. Got told "she is just getting something else now". Eventually they got it right, but I thought for something that they have tickets for, the staff would have a better idea of what they are. Think these are leftovers from a previous catalogue. Mostly sold out elsewhere - haven't seen at any other Reject Shop I've been to lately.

Jetfire seems to be sporadic sightings at random stores or cleaned out already.

Target CBD had 22 Stomp and Chomp Grimlocks on sale for $69. Those things just wont go away. They also had more recent RID 1 steps (Gold Grimlock, Fracture) and the wave 1 RID Minicons and some Hero Smasher stuff. Also RID box sets with either an OP figure or kids tshirt (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=21963).

Big W had some of the CW legends (Groove, Rodimus, Blackjack) and RID legions (Sidesipe, Strongarm, Grimlock) but not much else.

Don't recall seeing these before but TRU Doncaster have the platinum edition dinobots for $249. Not a great price but could have been worse.

Except, I was at Target Southland today and they had not a single Transformers toy on their shelfs. Checked the aisles twice and none. A bit disheartening to be honest.

Big W had 12 Devastators. Myer had a couple of the YOTG Soundwave, Prime and Platnium Coneheads, as well as CW Cyclonus, Hot Spot and Sunstreaker (I took a Prowl). Both Myer and Kmart had Gold Warrior RID Grimlock. Seems to be pegwarming as its more common. Kmart had one each of the CW Prime limbs and some CW Legends, including Shockwave (with Groove, Rodimus, Blackout - none of the other newest ones). Toyworld have the CW Prime limbs too and one of the staff was marking down those little bigheaded G1 statues down to $1 each.
