Target has buy 2 get 1 free on toys until Wednesday. Theres not much TF stuff on offer these days but Highpoint Target had the full selection of Beast Hunters voyagers. $33 each is probably the best price you'll find in Australia for them.

Target Highpoint has one Platinum Edition Ultra Magnus at $49. The top front left hand corner of the box has a slight crimp. Hid him behind the Voyager class Beast Hunters.

Saw on Sunday:
- Kreo Microchangers wave 4 at Ringwood & Bayswater Alternate Worlds - the Bayswater store had a complete set of 12 still after I left. $5 ea
- Generations Waspinator, Skids, Thundercracker, Hoist and a few others at Alternate Worlds too - $35 ea

Also introduced to a store called Lobo on High Street, Thornbury by a mate of mine. Sold Gen1 stuff at comparable prices to eBay. Worthwhile checking out for the vintage collector. They sell all sorts of collectibles at pretty reasonable prices in general as well. I picked up Doctor Who ships for about what they retail RRP in the UK. Some cool BSG, He-Man and Star Wars stuff too.

Hello, new poster here, I've been lurking a bit last couple of days. After looking for places to buy in melb I went for a wander in the cbd today. One stop anime didn't have anything, but the little tucked away shop 22 place did have masterpiece megatron and soundwave for 399 each, mp rodimus convoy for 349, encore metroplex for 189, and I think mp starscream coronation and ghost for 399 each too. After looking up ebay prices I didnt buy anything. Comics r us on bourke st I think had some loose g1s and also snarl and sludge g1 with boxes. They also had I think a masterpiece starscream for 189 but I wasnt sure, it looked big and g1 style but with the card/clear plastic packaging.

Might try some of the other shops listed tomorrow :)

Target Highpoint has restocked their shelves with plenty of Deluxe FOC figures (Air Raid, Ultra Magnus, SideSwipe, Starscream, Kickback) & some Deluxe Beast Hunters that I can't recall.

TF section at Toyworld Highpoint appears to have moved aisles & allocated shelf space has shrunk as well. Went in there about a week ago & was surprised to see no TF in the aisle where they always were. They are in the aisle further left to the entrance door.

When the IDW Generations were released, we seemed to have been the dumping ground for the FOC ones, as this wave has been showing up everywhere. Just a pity that we didn't end up getting the Wreckers wave after it.

Sanctuary Lakes K-mart still has about 6 Deluxe Beast Hunters on the shelves, all with the card peeling off the plastic. All of the figures are intact though, I went through them and picked some up myself. Reason being for the post, I got them to give me them for $20 each, instead of $25. You can tell people didn't do this, either they're to heavy on the shelves or dust/heat has got to it.

Image below shows you what they're like, so if you're hunting these. $20 isn't to bad of a price. They have a BH Wheeljack, Skystalker and Rachet left I think. Two of each one~

The Titans are pretty useless. I bought the two 12 inch TFPrime figures last year (Optimus & Bumblebee) from Amazon for US$10 each, and even still I felt cheated. (and the 16 inch pair were 2 & half times the price... so lucky I didn't buy them)

Compared to other TFs products, they are cheap for their size, but not for their level of complexity. And probably only bought for 3-5 year olds.

These have since been pulled from the shelf as they are not available to May. The Store Manager was not very concerned that I had had a Constructbot Grimlock put aside for me to pickup but was no longer able to, and didn't seem to care that I had travelled up from the Mornington Peninsula!!

Fountain Gate Big W has Wave 2 and 3 Kre-o mini figures. They also had one Trailcutter which I nabbed.
Woolworths has BH commander Starscream and Shockwave wave in stock,
Kmart, Target and Toy Kingdom had nothing new, Target did have a Voyager Shockwave though if any is still looking for one.

Went to highpoint today, very little worth mentioning

Myer: Constructbots 2 pack Wheeljack and Soundwave, 1 BH Commander class Hardshell if anyone is still after him, and 1 metroplex, plus some wave 1 BH stuff. (They had a single Optimus & Gaia Unicron set but I put it on Layby)

Toys R Us: Barely anything there, although they did have a single Kreon combiner Menasor couldn't scan the price though and there are no other kreon combiners to price match him to. they also had a TON of those hideous hunk of plastic Optimus and Bee things that look like cheap KO items (Like the AOE titans)

Toyworld, Target and Big W had nothing out of the ordinary or worth mentioning

Last night, Target at Forest Hill had the FOC Deluxe wave with Starscream, Air Raid etc. Only one I didn't see was Kickback. They also had quite a few TFPrime Beast Hunters Deluxes along with FOC (Voyager?) Soundwave with Laserbeak.

Deluxes were all $29 and Soundwave was $49. I don't think they're serious about moving these along before the movie toys come in.

My boy really likes his BB and the fact that you can transform without having to rebuild is an important play factor with this line. Kreo really misses this and I have been disappointed with the releases with that line

Can't wait to buy more constructabots stuff

Just be aware that they will be hard to find, because when they were first being found (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=17973), the stores were removing them from shelves, because they aren't supposed to put them out before May 17th (the embargo date for Movie toys).

I just picked up a Beast Hunters Voyager from Target in Greensborough for $30. That's a pretty awesome drop in price. I assume all Targets are doing this across the board in preparation for the film toys.

They also had FOC deluxe figures for $20. Beast Hunters legion figs for $5 (including several air Vehicons, if you're keen).

If you were holding off buying one because you weren't quite so dedicated to those lines, now's the time.

PS: Unfortunately FOC Voyager Soundwave was still $50. :confused:

Haven't seen Generations toys around anywhere except the Starscream/Airraid/Sideswipe/Magnus wave at Targets. If you're looking for pre FOC Generations I think those are long gone.

As for Toyworlds with AOE stock, I think all the ones that did have it out have been advised that they shouldn't have and have taken it away from sale by now. You might want to see if there's a recent sighting at Ringwood before going all the way out there.

When I was in Melbourne a few months ago they had the FOC figures in the Toyworld at Highpoint. And (if you want to travel 6 hours from Melb:rolleyes:) they amazingly still has a Generations Turobo Tracks at the Toyworld in Mildura

Looks like all transformers are on clearance at target. Plus there is a 20% off toys sale going on.
Today at target in Sunbury I scanned BH deluxes and FOC deluxes at $16 BH voyagers I think were $25 but I can't remember for sure. FOC voyagers were still around $39 I think. Construct bots and hotshots were also cheap
They also had a prime hot shot for $12 and prime legion breakdown for only $1.60 ... Needless to say I grabbed the breakdown haha.
But yeah, all transformers products are on sale and on clearance at target now.
Sunbury target had wave 1 BH products in all size classes. Plus commander green prime, wave 3 deluxes, voyager shockwave, wave 3 deluxe FOC, and more voyager FOC soundwaves than you could ever want

Yeah just went nuts on constructabots. Seeing them on clearance suggested to me that they would be around much longer....picked up ironhide soundwave blitz starscream, wheeljack

Also grabbed foc starscream and sideswipe @ $16 a piece

Watergardens Coles had like two sets of the new Botshots... so jealous, as I'm finding them everywhere here in Melbourne. Can't seem to find them in Brisbane (and if I had more luggage space when flying back to Brisbane tomorrow, I'd probably have bought up some of them to sell to Americans). The BigW there almost had no TFs at all.
The Toyworld outside had about a hundred of the small Star Wars Transformers that have been showing up at Myers and Toyworlds in the last month. Only the wave one trio at $10 each.

Highpoint Myer had the First Edition Optimus, but no Gaia Unicron.
Highpoint Toyworld is closed this week as it moves downstairs.

Did a quick sweep of HighPoint this morning.

TRU - 3 Metroplex $199ea. Nothing else worth noting.

Big W - Kids size TF Prime PJs $24 (one had Bumblebee print, the other Optimus & Bumblebee print). Construct-Bots Elite class (could only see Wheeljack) on sale for $14 and BH Commander class (could only see Snotimus Prime) for $7 (as previously mentioned in another post). Could not locate Covenant of Prime book.

Toyworld - relocated to opposite Harris Scarfe on Level 2. Hardly any shelf allocation for TF stock. Located at the back of the store on the right hand wall as you enter the store. Bot Shots triple pack: Skyquake, Jetfire & Powerglide $12; Decepticon Brawl, Shockwave & Ironhide $12; Cliffjumper, Decepticon Brawl & Dirt Boss $17(?).

Target - 20% off (as widely announced in other posts). No interesting items worth noting.

Didn't visit Myer. :(

Covenant of Primus was on sale, and $50 would be about the most I'd pay for it as well, but the book is good, although not as much artwork as I thought there'd be. The Autobot symbol container gimmick is pretty cool too, but what surprised me is the size of the box it comes in, about 50cm square!

I'd also tried to find it at Forest Hill Big W, but the sales assistant couldn't find any in stock and it certainly wasn't on the floor. Perhaps it's currently only in a few Big Ws in Victoria?

Bought it at Waverley Gardens this morning (6 more) and also saw it at Endeavour Hills Big W (4 copies).

For those interested, Myer has the Optimus/Gaia Unicron set for $79 till this Sun. First edition shiny AOE prime is $69. If you have a Myer One membership you may have a card in the mail which will give you an additional 10% off. CBD store has quite a few of each on shelf. Looks like AOE primes are more popular though.

On Friday I found that the Toyworld at Chadstone has gone. Not moved, just gone according to customer service. Toys R Us has however restocked. FOC Deluxes, Constructbots, 12" TFPrime Bumblebees, BH deluxe and commander class and AOE First Edition Optimus. Kmart at Chadstone only has some of the Predakings and a big Lightsaber display taking up the shelf space where TFs should be.

At Southland today, Myer had 8 of the Prime/Unicron packs and a bunch of AOE Primes. Toyworld had the 12" AOE figures. Big W didn't seem to have any TFs at all.

Sad to hear another Toyworld has bit the dust. So there's absolutely nothing there but empty void? :p

(FOC: Air Raid, Side Swipe, Magnus, Kickback) (BH: Dreadwing, Ratchet, Skystalker) they also have a fair few wave 1 and preview wave Kreon Micro Changers going out for $1 each (stickers on pack say $2 but they scan as $1)

Big W Ballarat has Strafe Hound and Crosshairs in the weird simplified semi-deluxe sized moulds for $25. Strafe can do a spin attack, and Hound has a quickdraw feature. Which don't match with the pricing at the start of the thread at all. They looked pretty decent until I saw the price. I'll snap a photo later if I remember.

Ah, according to the wiki they'd be "Power Battlers".

I arrived at Kmart in Boronia just as the AoE Transformers were being put out and the sales assistant let me choose some direct from the carton! The full range is being put in from Kreo to the titan class. I walked out with evasion mode Optimus, but aside from him and a couple of dinobots thatcIve laybyed the rest of the stores allotment is still there.

Target at chaddy had some of the AOE figures, there were a few 'flip and change' i think ones that looked like larger size figures that might not transform and some that had things like 'power punch' and 'quick draw' gimmicks on them. Sorry I haven't kept up with the classes/lingo but these are the first AOE figures I've seen locally apart from the 'first edition' optimus prime :)

Target at Knox city has the usual wave 1 AoE fare, but also has the new reissues of Reveal the shield legends Optimus, Starscream and Bee for $8 each.

The artwork is killer! Although there are inconsistencies. Optimus has a picture of his latest legion class form ( the one with roller). Starscream is from the mould with holes in his wings for guns but the picture of him on back is of his original rts alt mode.

And i didnt really care enough about bee to check. Sad I just dont really care about what used to be a fave character.

YOTH Optimus is at Myer Doncaster. They are not being put out on the shelves yet but just ask a friendly sales person and they will hopefully be able to grab one from their downstairs storage. $149. Apparently not that many available and will be featured soon in a catalogue soon. Other Myer stores except the flagship CBD stores may have quite limited stock and could be holding back for the catalogue feature.

Went to minotaur today in Melbourne today. They seemed to have the full range of the AOE figures apart from the deluxes. Even the leaders at recommended prices. Sadly grimlock had a unfortunate encounter with my wallet.

Myer cbd have redone their toy section. Nice and big again. They have a number of shelves dedicated to Transformers fully stocked with all the new AOE stuff including the Leaders. They also wheeled out quite a number of YOTH Optimus Primes. Do not pick up the legends figures as they had a $19.95 price tag?!? Think target was $8.

I'm guessing it is this one (http://www.toycollectors.com.au/transformers/2014/aoem15.jpg) (reusing the TF3 Leader Bumblebee (http://www.toycollectors.com.au/tftoys/mt10.jpg) - the Battle Ops Bumblebee was a TF2 Leader (http://www.toycollectors.com.au/tftoys/hftd19.jpg) - which is still two too many over-sized Bumblebee toys).
It's a lot better than Kmart's $89... and cheaper than the DOTM version which came with a big, heavy/expensive electronic weapon/backpack. (it was $88 at BigW, and as high as $100 at TRU & Toyworld)

^ Its definitely the Battle Ops BB from TF2 movie. The old style packaging with the voice gimmick on the chest, that silly cannon for his right hand, the face visor & the year 2009 on the box. (hence the :rolleyes:)

I was on Chapel st today, went into that shop next to Subway and opposite Greville st, usually has astroboy t-shirts etc in the window. Wow, they had quite a few masterpieces! I could see Megatron, ghost starscream, sunstorm, coronation starscream, rodimus and either MP-4 or MP-10 with the trailer, couldn't see. Cheapest one I think was $349 and the Optimus was $499... :/

They also had 3 voyager class optimus primes from one of the movies, but each had different paint jobs. One looked clear/translucent, one looked green/brown with some gold details and another was green/brown again but with gold flames. They were $59 each, I don't know if those were special editions or knockoffs or anything.

There was also an encore Sky lynx, a big boxed Sixshot, a few other types of optimus prime and some other random figures. I was surprised with the variety! Can't really justify getting any of those however :(

I went to chaddy today and myers has done up the toy section with a display similar to the cbd one in those photos, not quite as big and flashy though. I don'
t think they had quite the full range of movie toys, but they did have 8 YOTH Optimus so I nabbed one (I had some vouchers so didn't really cost me anything, I had been umming and ahhing for a while but caved in!).

One of the staff there said there would be a sale next thursday (didn
t specify how much, or possibly this thursday, I don't remember) but I grabbed him as I was going interstate for work this week and wasn't sure if there would be any left at the sale price when I get back.

Had a few Lego star wars super star destroyers there at $699 when I asked, which is when the person mentioned the sale. I've got an unfinished collector's series regular star destroyer sitting inside so don't think I can justify adding another one until this one gets finished :p

It was the Deluxe size that Hasbro had held back, but they did mention that middle of the year "could" see a return of Generations toys, IF a retailer was interested - before the Jetfire "wave" of size-classes... which we are supposed to be getting here around September.

Knox Myer has a heap if YOTH Primes @$119 and the TF4 voyager 2-pack with OP and Grimlock. Not sure I like the look of them though, it seems Hasbro either use no chrome or too much indiscriminately.

TRU has TF4 wave 2 deluxes and voyager Hound (didn't see any Galvatrons though).

Actually there were 8 YOTH Optimus Primes there. They had 5 up on the far wall under the Avengers stuff. They had the $149 price tag and didn't seem to have the $119 price. There are 7 now as there was someone eying it and I mentioned that it should be on sale. Should have gotten some commission from that sale :D

The rescue bots epic Optimus Prime was at Big W in the city. $48 for pretty much a near 2 foot tall door stop. BBTS are selling him for $35 I think. Not heavy but bulky so shipping will be a bugger. Very much a G1 look which is why he came home with me. It's for my son but think daddy will have to borrow it. :D

Mini review:

Very big but mostly hollow. Chest opens up to store figures or one mother of a matrix if you have one. Back portion of arms and legs are cut away to store more figures. Head rotates and arms can do a full 360. Full wrist swivel too.

Big W Karingal had quite a few last Thursday. They have them on sale from this Thursday for 65 or earlier if you have an Everyday Rewards Card. Also Southland Big W, Kmart and Toyworld had them also.
Kmart has them for 59 in the catalogue soon as well.

Kmart Moonee Ponds have FOC Wreckers for $15 a pop! Bought myself a Top Spin to make myself a custom Galaxy Shuttle! On a side note, got my TFSS Ironfist the other day, wondering what custom combiner I could make? :D:confused:
