Saw the Ark at Greensy TW as well.

Target Greensy is packed to the rafters. They've got a massive front section on the 2nd floor and then a standard massive TF section in the normal toy section. Was very impressed.
Target the Pines had standard DOTM. nada special.

I just took a big w catalogue with me and there was no problem to price match. Before he confirmed it he checked it on the screen, I am assuming to check cost price, but I am not sure. Myer I think price match unless it is below their cost price. But yeh no problems when I did it.

Target had stacks of the Vault, and as the prior post, it is worth it. Couple of things I learnt, but damn I wish i never lost my japanese "Generations" Book. Still the best tf book ive ever had.. (I have have some good jap ones =) ).

Myer Southland had Laserbeak and some wave 2 DOTM, but I'm really not following it. Soutland Target also had lots of powerglide

Could be guns already released in the that TRU Scanning 4-pack.
Megatron is said to have purple on him as well, as if it were a homage to Motormaster. (but I haven't seen for sure yet)

Leadfoot has the Target logo... which is probably why these are Target Exclusives (seems that Target US and maybe here too have Leadfoot in 3 different sizes as an exclusive - Legion, Deluxe, Human Alliance)
That added deco though makes me happier to get these sets, as I was fearing that the Legion figures were just the same as their regular releases.

Price is a bit steep though - a $7 Legion with an $18 Commander (at Target's prices)... should be $25 or less.
Hope they are on sale soon, or before they sell out.

I was there today to meet Grimlock531 & pick up a couple of Generations figures. I then went into Toyworld proper & picked up Wreck-Gar & Solar Storm Grapple. Grapple has to go back as his legs joints are way too loose for my liking.

I am new to Melbourne so I have only been to Eastland twice.

As for the price, it is another example of how Hasbro was ripping us off with keeping the regular sizes at the same price as last year...
As each one-off item is being priced based on the current exchange rate, its retail price gets cheaper and cheaper than the same-sized regular items that are still pegged at pricing set years ago when the exchange rate was US$0.50.
If Hasbro ever claims that they aren't taking advantage of the exchange rate, the prices of these one-off exclusive items are proof.

Big W Westfield Geelong Has wave 1 & 3 deluxe, as well as their exclusive Deluxe Optimus. He's not bad, need paint apps badly though. Also Wave 1 and 2 Voyagers and Leaders.

Kmart Belmont has many (read: many) of their rally deco exclusives, wave 1 and 3 deluxes, wave 1 and 2 leaders, and the megatron and optimus cyberverse bases. still no deluxe wave 2, as is being reported in a couple of NSW kmarts. BUT they do have generations kup et al. including one scourge, if anyone is still looking.

i think those dont come with the dvd and also the paint app look a bit better than the original, not sure tho.

Went to a Big W and saw the Bumblebee/Soundwave/Rodimus three pack for the first time. Nice but not at that price.

Then I went to Target and saw a lot more exclusives I'd not seen on my travels: the Jetwing Prime (yeah might get that), the Megatron/BB & Ironhide/Leadfoot 2 packs, and the Voyager Ratchet and Starscrean with comics. They also had a few Powerglides, A few Leader Ironhide, the Prime & Megatron commanders with bases and plenty of wave 2 Voyagers.

I was very tempted to buy another Powerglide simply because this particular Target store is where I purchased my very first Transformer (Powerglide) 26 years ago. :)

This wouldn't have been part of the toy sale, as this is the first sighting of it.

And they wouldn't have got a 'good deal', as these one-off items are being calculated into AU$ at the current exchange rate. It's the established size classes that are stuck at old US$0.50 exchange rate values, making these current one-off items look really good in comparison. When in fact it should be the reverse - the existing lines should be the same price as these one-off items if the wholesale prices were ever adjusted to reflect the exchange rate.

BTW, it's nice to see that one here. I was thinking that and the Bumblebee one wouldn't make it to Australia... and this is the one I don't have either. :D

So far as I know. I found it in Parramatta, and told a few people as soon as I saw him. A few people have grabbed him form there I know. Could just be that they put them out early. You never know, you might find him when you get there on Saturday :)

I went to highpoint tru today about 2 o'clock. Still no mp hotrod.

Lots of movie stuff and heaps and heaps of battle ops bee. Ghost starscream was labeled at the regular price again but I didn't scan it.

I have a cold and wasn't up for looking much, I just woke up again.

I probably can't make it befor closing tomorrow so for me anyway, I hope they don't show up till Wednesday. ;)

I just called them and after being on the phone for up to 20 minutes, they finally said that the stock is out in the pallets at the back. The lady said she'd put two on hold for me (one for Paulbot) and that I should come to the front desk and she'll grab them. So if they're not out by tonight, definitely 2moro :)

It had been clearly opened & by the look of it quite carefully. The bottom was slipping off the main plastic case & it looked all complete but I was not going to take a chance.

If it was creased or crushed I probably would have grabbed it but I was suspicious. In retail nothing would shock me though.
