Its still a qc issue and still noticeable, just glad mine was tolerable to my preferences at least :)

Yeah, it's not something that's supposed to be there, but don't mind it so much. At least the lines are even and not jagged. If you see the Twintwist in Kmart Footscray, it's helmet looks like it'd been haphazardly carved out with a knife (I didn't bother taking a photo since I no longer use photobucket, but it's been there for about a week now). This defect on Slugslinger kind of adds a bit of character to the toy (somewhat reminds me of the Joker), but if it ever reaches a point where I can't stand it anymore, I guess I could try to paint over the lines around the mouth. I think it's there because the paint they used was applied too thinly.

Myer Southland has a TR Misfire and Windblade (no Twin Twist). Also RID Twinfernos a plenty and a Thermidor. Also TLK leader Prime and Megatron.

Looks like big w werribee plaza got a restock of tr deluxes, they got the full slugslinger assortment.

But at another (think sunshine plaza I completely forgot) they had a clearance tag on their legends for $12, this isn't a good sign if you're waiting on a seaspray or cosmos :c

Only store I seen the tag on though, if another can so kindly do a price check on a price checker that would be helpful as I ran out of time

Big W Sunshine had some wave 5 TR deluxes (2x Twintwist, 1x Wolfwire, 1x Misfire) when I left this afternoon.

I also finally found the wave 2 TLK Legions at Woolworths Sunshine. The display was placed at the tip of the frozen food aisle, right next to the ravioli/tortellini.

Looks like big w cbd's stock of wave 2 tr legends figures is finally moving with only 2 (now one) laserbeaks remaining (hoped for a rumble and ravage but oh well).

Only real thing of note was zing near flinders station has the 3A evasion mode optimus prime, one of the shop workers pointed me out (had an old FCUK shirt with movie prime on it) and he rushed me to the counter just to show it off, was really nice, but being an exclusive it was nearly $800 (forgot exact price) and just thought it was a bit too much considering I got mpm04 in the mail inbound.

He was very salesman like, second his supposed manager went into the storeroom he offered a 10% discount because the box was damaged (as in "hay bud I got a sweet deal but I can't tell the manager" kind), as in the box had what looked like stab marks on the bottom, I tried to throw him off the sale by then changing the subject about my desires for them to regularly carry tf mp products, might take his advice and suggest that to their customer service along with how rubbish the zing website is right now actually...

Dropped into Watergardens today. Big W were selling TLK Voyagers for $34, which is dirt cheap for a Voyager! They only had Hounds and Megatrons. However, there was a Nitro Zeus at Target. If you want a cheap Nitro Zeus, you might be able to ask Target to price match with Big W. Just a thought

I bought Movie5 Leader class Megatron yesterday from Kmart, for $65. Lucky I didn't import this myself, otherwise I would be losing money on this round.

I can't believe why this one is on sale. The jet mode is amazing!!!

Checked out the new Tarneit Central Kmart, TR misfire wave in full complete and (yet again) broadsides galore, couple of tr brawns and...couldn't remember what else other than a few tlk wave 1 B.B's hanging around, no tlk voyagers for some reason last I checked around 11am.

Oh and one optimus voice changer at eb games, last I checked they were on clearance to $60 at zing so should be the same (despite the $79 sticker) but they also have 20% off everything except hardware until sunday, I don't know if that applies to that but worth an ask

Oh and they supposedly have 4 snes mini's in stock but no discount for those, I overheard them talk to another customer about that

Nearly forgot my report, looks like big w stores are getting the misfire TR wave in with sunshine and highpoint stores stocking them (finally bought a windblade with decent paint apps on her face), highpoint tru also has some TR leader sixshots if one needs, target highpoint also has the misfire wave otherwise not much else to report.

Oh and Myer in werribee plaza has moved the tf shelves again to near the upper floor entrance as in facing the door way...iirc, been a long day

Every Target I've visited so far has a voyager TLK Scorn but no Nitro. From now on I'll be focusing on Big W. It has more promise based on what you've just shown me. Thank you.

I saw ONE target (werribee) that had both but just one of each, I shoved them up the back behind the wall of grimlocks (was apprehensive...)next day both gone and never seen ANY scorns or nitro's since anywhere, luckily I had scorn PO'd with hlj, no plans for nitro unless a movie the best comes lol.

But as said in other threads big w's are expected to be getting pallets of these, I'll have to check over the weekend if they got more voyagers but at a guess it'll be wave 2 again, deluxes and one steps however are looking fresh and plentiful :)

Gotta say after looking at takara's metalcolle figures these have NOTHING on those lol, only good ting is they have characters they haven't done yet like barricade, and the rid 2 pack with the diecast figure and robot figure is a disappointment, looks like the car is diecast but the figure is plastic rubber or...something not made out of metal.

One nice thing I did find was they still have some of the sawback TR titan masters for $5, 2 ptero's, sawback and I think a fangry, can't remember which one but just those 4 left

I had to go and recheck the sightings lists and photos, because I had thought that they were out here already... because I got them back in June, but realised that it was in HK when they were just being released.

Unless there's a Christmas sale coming up soon, it might be worth waiting for the Boxing Day sale to snap up TR Soundwave; for those gunning for one.

I got mine cheap off eBay for $60. Personally I wouldn't pay Myer's full price for TR Soundwave (unless I was a hardcore Soundwave fan who didn't collect anything else).

Yeah, the thing about TR Soundwave is that it's a relatively old toy compared to Sixshot or Overlord, but it's just taken a lot longer for for it to finally turn up at local retail. Zing might've stocked it at some point, but Zing is really more of a novelty shop to me.

Don't normally mention but they got themselves the current set of takara legends transformers, thats broadside, misfire and doublecross as well as anime+ mp sideswipe and the normal shelf warmers mp artfire and mp primal toy deco version, the problem is unlike their gunpla and anime goods they're a tad overpriced as I assume they were bought as consumers, case in point misfire was $65 and mp sideswipe was $140+, so best to look before you decide to buy from elsewhere (seems legends broadside's aircraft deck is straight grey plastic rather than painted, works for me), they'll never be competitive with tf's but good for a last resort

I guess since Paulbot found them at a Kmart (which you checked already), maybe see if you can get to other Kmarts... but be quick, as the Activators are on clearance at Kmart, so will probably disappear fast.

I’ve been checking every big w, Kmart, target, tru and toy shops I can to try and find them. Which is why I was asking if anyone knows where they are. Trying to pinpoint an exact locTion I can go get them instead of constantly travelling to find them. Having said that I did find the optimus Prime one in a big w today so just need to find a soundwave

Took POTP to bring me back, heh, these are my findings from yesterday

Checked out toy world werribee plaza, whoever got there first took all the dinobots, there was just a lone starscream, few decoy suits, had 2 jazz and one dreadwing (I took one) in deluxe, and maybe one windcharger and 2 skrapnels left (took a windcharger).

Odd thing, all but the deluxes are priced like standard generations retail (with the deluxes at $35 each) price, so lets hope other stores aren't going to share the movie deluxe prices.

Anyway I checked out toyworld highpoint, they were much better stocked but as I suspected only one carton of each, I left the leaders alone and took one of each dinobot (didn't see any jazz) and took a beacomber (left slash), I saw a leader prime but didn't check further for a rodmimus

So far other stores aren't stocking and still have TR stuff clogging spaces.

WORD OF CAUTIOUS TO MISB COLLECTORS WERRIBEE PLAZA STORE HAS SECURITY STICKERS ON BOXES AND HIGHPOINT HAS OPENED THE BLISTER AND PUT THOSE LONG THING SECURITY TAGS INSIDE, the time is insane now but if required I can post evidence if required (although it was a pic of my beachcomber opened but if you inspect blisters you should see them rattling around)

As of 10 minutes to closing time they had

Legends: 2x Skrapnel, 2x Windcharger, 1x Slash, 1x Beachomber. (the other Slash and Beachcomber came home with me) $19.99 each
Deluxe: 2x Jazz, 2x Slug, 2x Dreadwind, 2x Swoop. $36.99 each!! That’s MORE than they charged for TLK Deluxes!
Voyagers: 1x Grimlock, 1x Starscream. I believe they were $50 each
Leaders: 1x Rodimus Prime. Think it was like $90 or something
Didn’t take a very good look at the prime masters so I don’t remember what’s there or the price, but the pegs were pretty packed with them so I assume none have been taken yet.

If you go there looking for them, they aren’t with the rest of the transformers. That said, you can’t miss them, they are literally right there at the end of the nearest shelf as you walk in.

Bit disappointed I walked out of there with only 2 legends. But I wasn’t looking to buy anything bigger than Deluxe today, and I am NOT paying $37 for a deluxe figure. Hopefully places like Kmart and Big W will have them for cheaper when they finally get stock.

It looks like K-mart will be the go-to retailer (excluding online ones) for the deluxes at $30 (hopefully). They were the best for the TR deluxes.

Went by Toyworld Watergardens again. No Leader PotP's but they did have Voyager Grimlock & Stascream x2 @ $49.99. Only x3 deluxes Dreadwings (no other deluxes) @ $35.00, at least x3 of each Skrapnel, Windcharger & Slash (no Beachcombers) @ $19.99 and a stack of all 3 Prime Masters @ $9.99.

No PotP's @ Big W and I didn't check Target. Happy hunting.

West finally has some semblance of POTP again with target stocking the voyagers, a single case and someone snagged one grimlock (not me) from the case, that's it apparently all tf's were on the shelves so we're stuck with the TR legends masters and deluxes for sometime

Visited Southland shopping centre today and saw four each of Swoop and Slug at Toyworld as well as two each of Jazz. Dreadwind is the most plentiful of the POTP deluxes wherever you look. Legends class is also plentiful between Toyworld, Target and Myer. Also saw a Grimlock at Target.

The biggest news though is the leader class ones. You'll find 3x Rodimus Prime and 1x Optimus Prime at Myer.

PotP-wise, I can personally live without the deluxes (though the Dinobots and female Autobots are super-tempting and cool); but the bit that irks me is how difficult it is to find the Leaders. I've only seen Rodimus Prime once (it was during a sale, so I regret not picking it up), but I've not seen a single Optimus Prime, and that's the main PotP figure I'm gunning for. It's strange because Optimus Primes are usually abundant. Ah well, hopefully when Kmart and Big W stock PotP, they'll order a lot of Optimus :)
