I saw universe inferno yesterday at the usual comic shop. Looks really awesome but I opt to wait to grab it in retail. Seeing it in boxed plastic, this is one toy I definitely wouldn't miss! - a likely candidate for toy of the year in the classics line. :)

Honestly don't bother going to Kmart 24/7 where I work (I just came back from there). All they have is old stocks of Animated Deluxes and Leaders and one lone Acid Storm - no other Universe deluxes.

Overload is a repaint of cybertron defence Scattershot. Cybertron scourge has been repainted as Bruticus Maximus. He is ultra class and I have not seen him at retail yet.

Checked out Highpoint TRU - Nothing but the same old Movie Inferno and Mudflaps galore. Movie DS Starscream and stacks of Animated Leaders, 25th Primes but they did have Bandit Lockdown and Megatron Activators. No Marvel wave 2, just the same 6 Green Hulk's shelf warming.

Target has a few things on sale. $20 for Movie Bumblebee two pack and Animated Stealth Lockdown & Rescue Ratchet packs at $25. Tags were put up today but I think the sale is officially on tomorrow.

Myer had the same old, only noteable was Megatron Activator and the following:

But found nothing new there except for a couple of animated swindles @ Kmart.

They had somewhere between 20-35 Movie Voyagers from the last wave (OR Ironhide, FS Optimus Prime and EVAC), about 60-70 Movie Legend 2-packs (crazy yeah?) and a whole bunch of those Ultimate Bumblebees that have been flooding the shops down here (sigh...)
The Movie Voyagers are going for about $20 a pop at least until the 14th. In store signs had the legends at about $7 per pack

$60 Movie Thundercracker and Rescue Ratchet at Myer! Ridicilous. They also had the $40 Animated Deluxes (including Blurr and Swindle) and $32 Universe Deluxes (including Dinobot and Smokescreen).

Sounds like some naughty employee must've shelved the toys before the official date (which is printed on every case) and then a manager must've noticed and pulled them off -- otherwise they can get in trouble from Hasbro. I got my first Revenge of the Sith toys like 5 hours before the official release date - the store manager told me not to tell anyone about it until after midnight. ;)

dirge called me at work from Chadstone to tell me what he'd found -- I was joygasming so hard at my desk that my colleagues were shocked and looked at me as I was gasping all the oxygen out of the staffroom. They thought that someone just had a baby and their looks of baited mutual joy quickly changed to stunned shock when I told them that it was over a new wave of Transformers toys; they'd gotten themselves excited for nothing. :D

A Target store in Geelong has already released and started selling ROTF figures, I saw demolishor, bumblebee, soundwave, prime (voyager), most of the FAB's, lots of robot heroes, and voyager Ironhide which is no longer there due to med buying it!!!!! I dont know how many are left but if anyone is planning to go to geelong soon...it is the Wesfield Target store.

Jaydisc, that display is interesting. It's like the one they had for the Robot Heroes a little while back. Have others found the ROTF toys in Target stores on the actual shelves or only in these special displays? Or a bit of both?

It's the same selection....

From my knowledge of store receivings, this is probly only a Target related display, with a set number of each figure on each stand. That's why we aren't finding the Wave 1 deluxes.

Also, stores i've seen it in DIDN"T have shelf space, and stores with shelf stock only had this stock with no display stand....

So what happens is they move it onto the floor to save space out the back, or break it down if no space on the sales floor for it.

But i've also noticed it's the stores doing stocktacke atm that have the figures out, and if they aren't doing stocktake they don't have anything out.

THis could be why release date was broken....

Just went there this morning. They have an overflowing end cap full. Between this lot and the new ones at Reservoir, basically any Universe Voyager (besides Treadbolt) can be had for $20!

Also, I had bought 3 x Infernos yesterday because I thought the sale was ending, but the $19.99 is still active today and has a date of 28/5/2009 written on the price tag.

There's been no sightings in New York, or anywhere else for that matter. Devastator isn't schedule to ship until about November, in time for Christmas. AU pricing is not known, but I'd expect anywhere between $140-200.

Southland has been pulled I've been told directly by the Hasbro Rep I chatted with at Doncaster. Kmart prices are in the ROTF Guide thread in Australian news. The only sale item starting tomorrow (or tonight after 10pm) is Leaders for $79

Now, I've had a BIG day:

1. Epping - Nothing of interest but a couple of $40 stormclouds at Toyworld. Nothing at Big W or Target

2. Greensborough
Nothing as well, although I had a chat with a Target employee that said they expect to have stuff out this afternoon when the Hasbro Rep arrives. I asked if he knew where she was, and he said Doncasster, so I headed there.

3. Doncaster
Hasbro rep was putting out stuff at Target. She said they started early because of the magnitude of the event, and she was going on to Doncaster next. I asked her about Kmart Campbellfield, she said her colleagues was taking care of that. I asked about Northland and she didn't know.

4. Northland
No ROTF, but TRU had Universe Countdown and Darkind for the extraordinary price of $80!!! I'll pass, but they had an end cap full. They also had homemade signs stating ROTF stuff would be out on the 28th.

5. Northcote
Have all the ROTF stuff out, but surprisingly no Deluxes beyond the 2 x previews.

Just got back from Kmart Burwood 24/7! Super happy and excited they have the full ROTF range of the first waves!!! (So much for waiting for 30 May release! :rolleyes: Never trust the staff)

- Leader Megs and Prime (I layby-ed them, you gotta choose Megs properly as I realised that some of the chest switches do not go back up properly and get stuck)
- All the voyagers, deluxes, scouts and legends, about 3-4 of each of them!

It was like being in dreamland again with all the TF goodies surrounding you! :p

Wow. Big W prices are clearly the best. They had '07 Movie Voyagers for $39.83and Deluxes were $23.83, so only a $2 increase for deluxes, but an $8 increase for Voyagers!. Poop.

Last night at Target Forest Hill:

Also full range of ROTF figures:
- Both Leaders: Megs and Prime
- All 4 voyagers: Ironhide, Demolisher, Prime and Screamer
- All 4 Scouts: Dead End, Roll Bar, the other 2 I can't remember
- All 5 Deluxes: Rampage, Bumblebee, Soundwave, Sideways, Breakaway
(P.S I took the last Sideswipe, heehee :D)

They also had the Robot Heroes, Gravity Bots and FABs plus Powerbots. Make sure you look at the main aisle where the toys are facing the books as the TFs are places in 2 different places.

As of 9am Saturday, Kmart Northcote had set up an endcap with ROTF figures, plus more deluxes, FABs and Gravity Bots on the pegs in the aisle.

Scouts: Dirtboss, Rollbar, Motorbike and red car (Ransack and Dead End?)
Deluxes: Only Soundwave and Bumblebee, absolutely heaps (5 or more pegs worth)
Voyagers: Ironhide (1?), a few Starscreams, Demolishors and Optimus Primes.
Leaders: both Prime and Megatron.
Didn't pay attention to the FABs or Gravity Bots though sorry.

Not sure if anything has changed since Jay scouted it out unfortunatly.
