Have you tried asking Target CBD for inter-store transfer? You should be able to get it for the sale price when placing an order during the sale period. My only concern is the pot luck with the packaging. I've seen some really beat up boxes. It's as if Metroplex is trying to blast, punch, kick his way out of the box!

I went to doncaster target. Picked up a metroplex, with 10 still remaining. The boxes are pretty beat up, there are some that are mediocre maybe 1-2.

Target will send to a store for free.... if it is instock on their website, as it would still be instock at their warehouse. Don't know if they do transfers between stores though, as it would cost them money to do that. (deliveries from the warehouse are every few days, so it would just be added to the next deliver)


As for the packaging - I'm surprised that they've been showing up with heavy damage, considering they are supposed to be shipping in master cartons to protect them. The store nightfill (or the warehouse employee stacking the pallets) must be being really rough on these.

Yeah, the big box is deceiving, so it's likely to be placed at the bottom of cages/pallets... and since they have so much empty space in them, they collapse easily when something smaller is placed inside the edges.
A shame really, as the box is going to be like the original Fort Max box - a display piece on its own.

Summary of my weekend's observations:

Geelong Target has about a dozen Metroplex sitting up high, they are also reasonably well stocked of beast hunters stuff in general so if you're out west and struggling it might be worth the drive.

Geelong Big W had nothing much to write home about.

Target Northland and Greensborough are devoid of Metroplexes and anything new in particular.

Toyworld Greensborough had a lone Prime Voyager Bulkhead marked down to $30 which might be worthwhile for anyone who does not have one already. (don't really remember seeing many of them on the shelves like ever)

I thought it was a good price, as I remember the one time I had seen regular RB figures in Target they were $30 each :eek: I think I got Heatwave and Prime back then only when there was a 20% off sale as they are steep prices for such simple toys (I still couldn't bring myself to get BBee as he looked so awful).

Generations Springer hasn't been released here, so you'll need to resort to Amazon for that one. Beast Hunters Ultra Magnus has been seen here, but very sporadic.

Ultra Magnus (if it's the Beast Hunters version) was on the shelves at Toyworld, Big W and Target in Ballarat, and K-Mart out in Wendouree.

Some Target stores still have the YOTS Ultra Magnus and I'm pretty sure it has been lowered to $49.
I've seen the Beast Hunter version at both Kmart and Target.
Minotaur in the city did have some Springers for $52 about two weeks ago, I was there on Monday, didn't see any though, however they did get a delivery on Friday. The main reason I went was to pickup a FOC Blaster which wasn't on display but was out the back. Last time I checked they had them marked as In Stock online.

Went to Target and Toy Kingdom in Fountain Gate on Thursday night.

Target: The Regular TF section had a lone BH Ratchet and rest of wave 1 stuff. 2 Metroplex's on top shelf,while 9 in the "What's New" section along with a display of Ultimate Predaking and Optimus.

Toy Kingdom: Sharkticon Megatron behind a wall of BH Voyagers. Constructbots Wave 2,heaps of Thundercrackers. FOC Wave 3 (picked up Starscream,I think he was the only one) DOTM Human Alliance as mentioned before, and all of the Wave 1 Constructbots. Sadly no PRID Wave 2 (someone found my Bulkhead..:( )

11 Metroplexs left at Big W Werribee plaza since I left. They're $98 each, picked another up today. How ever they're not in the transformer section, they're in the aisle to the right of the transformers up the very top.

Also a single Platinum Omega Supreme sitting up there with them for $98 too. They box felt pretty damaged on the back, and one of his feet looked a little manged in the box. So not sure if he's broken or not, didn't take a proper look at it.

I think it's the second for our Costco stores, as they had the Movie Ultimate Bumblebee (with the golden Legends Bumblebee) a couple years back.

I was half expecting Metroplex to show up at our Costcos because it showed up cheap at the American ones... but when I asked the Canberra store a week ago, they didn't have anything on their system. So it must only show up in their computer when they receive items.

I thought it might be cheaper too, since the US Costco was selling theirs for US$78 (if I recall).... but $109 is still almost half TRU pricing, and almost as cheap as the one-off sale prices Target and BigW had.

You can just see it on her face that she doesn't want to provide good customer service and always looks annoyed. I always try to find another person to help me out.

at the Woolworths in watergardens (the one near JB Hifi) they've restocked their Beast Hunters Legions, I counted 3 Jet vehicons and 2 Hun-Grrrs if anyone is still after them

At Doncaster Westfield this afternoon, TRU has two Thrilling 30th Metroplexes; Target has one each of BH Cyberverse Air Vehicon, BH Voyager Grimwing, Shockwave and Magnus.

Kmart Chadstone has a tiny TF section now. Mostly, discounted, BH Predakings and YOTS Energon Primes. They had a few BH Legions in multilingual packaging too,

Target was better, with some deluxes (Ratchet, Skystalker, Wheeljack). Didn't check the other stores.

Picked up two Crankcases to finally complete a set of dreads.
Left on the shelf were a couple of Roadbusters, Crankcases and Jolts.

They do charge a premium for sometimes being the first to import new waves. I remember getting TF Prime Vehicon from them for only slightly above rrp.

Also at the end of my travels yesterday, I came across "One Stop Anime Shop" located near Melbourne Chinatown Hungry Jacks. They had: Kabaya Onslaught for $8, Alternity Super GT-R Megatron for $150 with 25% off, and MP Smokescreen for $80. Seems like they might be worth checking out every now and then. I do like seeing imported stuff locally :)
