But when I got to the register the cashier guy looked it up in the system or whatever and confirmed they were $20

I got lucky the other day getting Soundwave for $15 so I can't really complain.

Not a surprise though as most Kmarts I've seen, waaaaay over-ordered the first and second waves, to shelfwarm beyond 3rd and 4th wave at most stores.

Well looks like the TLK voyagers have hit werribee plaza's toyworld, $52.99, good chance come this saturday they'll be at the toys r us opening as well.

...I would skip toyworld though right now, they only had wave 1 grimlock and optimus, I bought both, someone else beat me it seemed so I took home the last ones, lets hope wave 2 hits soon :D

Had a look around werribee plaza, specifically for the new tru opening, wave 3 tr deluxes, wave 2 tr voyagers, HEAPS of leader sixshots, heaps of those marked down rid deployers, wave 3 tr legends, wave 1 tlk deluxes...yeah really nothing there, seeing how it just opened I expected newer stuff, did see this bug guy though who was a stand out...

Elsewhere target also in werribee plaza has had SIGNS of that revision wave, they have/had 2 quakes, almost bought one but changed my mind, if you're curious check the back of the shelving behind the wave 2 stuff, might still be there ;)

Nothing else in the cbd stores other than what was earlier reported either

Parkmore has a few TLK deluxes. Big W got the new Warriors in but are down to just new Windblade and Grimlock. They also had the RID legions up to the Blurr wave. Kmart had a clearance tag for RID warriors but none left. No new TR deluxes but did have Brawn and Roadburn. Clearance Titan Masters were Apeface and Nightbeat.

Looks like the revision wave hit myer in werribee plaza as well as I spotted the entire assortment, I want the croc, but not for their price.

So looks like werribee plaza target had signs of the revision wave of TR...right now 7 twinferno's, one hotrod, ONE krok which I bought (so he ain't there to clarify)

Seems the barcode of krok (and I assume quake) didn't work, woman did a price check...oh boy that was fun listening to her read the description to her team mate oh the phone "ah it says 2 different names gator-aid and DECEPTION quake, uh 6 inch 12cm I think", I was thinking they were gonna over charge me but I managed to fluke it for $19!

I even told them which shelf to check and names of the others they could of used (I just didn't name the price thinking that was good enough lol)

...then one of the hands snapped off as soon as I put the gun in the hand, or maybe they cut the nubbings too small, either way avoid that target unless you're desperate for a tr hotrod or one of the many twinfernos, everything else is getting stale including the shelf warming CW skywarps for $59.

Myer CBD has started stocking the new Movie figures, there's a big display by the escalator near the toy section, and they've restocked the shelves with TR deluxes, unfortunately it's that horrible revision case as far as I can tell. Everything else is the same as the last few weeks however.
The nearby Big W and Target are more of the same, Big W has a few more pegs of TFs now but it's still a pathetic selection.
I took the train home a bit further and had a quick look around the shops in Frankston as well. TRU still has plenty of Sixshots but nothing new, they have so many pegs for Titanmasters but oddly basically nothing on them. It's not as if they're not getting stock in either, they got the Marvel Legends Spider-Man/Mary Jane 2-pack in which they didn't have last week(almost picked it up until I realised was wearing that gross All New All Different costume with the glowy green chest logo detailing, blech).
Everywhere else there is basically the same as it's been for the last couple weeks, some wave 1 movie figures, some wave 3 TR deluxes and Target is the only store with post wave 2 TMs. What a waste of time that all was.

Saw Trypticon at Big W Southland today. Nothing else of interest in the centre TF wise, your typical Target has Wave 3 TMs, everyone else has Wave 1 or 2, Myer has the revision case of wave 4 but not the good one, blah blah blah.
Toyworld does have the second waves of the X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy Marvel Legends sub-series if that's your thing though I don't think there's a full set of either on shelf.

If I see more over the weekend I'll report but you'd be better off avoiding stores that had midnight openings, the turnout was unexpected but couldn't tell who else wanted trpyticon from the turnout

Visited Highpoint today.

Big W - A big TLK movie display was set up in the middle of the store. There was a nice healthy supply of TR Broadsides (I counted like 6 or 8? Can't remember exactly). There were also 6 Trypticons, but they were located in the toy section where the Star Wars stuff usually is (bottom shelf).

Target - Couple Wave 5 Deluxes (Kup, Quake, Krok), and some CW Leader Skywarps that had been discounted to $49.

tru-almost terrible, looks like they had a single case of the exclusive mission to cybertron deluxes, with just 2 megatrons remaining hidding in the normal tf section, but the front display is terrible, also no wave 2 voyagers

kmart-they had the next set of titan changers as I saw a megatron hanging around, as well as least 2 cases worth of tlk wave 2 voyagers.

After hanging around for 5 minutes I managed to get them to price match big w to grab a megatron, so if tru fails try kmart, just be sure to be aware if your big w has stock as they will check (they tried to match the assortment but the knowledgeable staff didn't help kmart much, I know for a fact they only had a single grimlock laying around and in the end the kmart guy just relied on my mobile catalog url to verify lol)

Those are probably new for Kmart, as that wave didn't get a huge release here (a lot of people were scrambling to find that Groundbuster)... but the green packaging is the 2016 packaging, as we are now getting the red "Combiner Force" packaging here this year.
(it isn't that unusual though, seeing old stock show up for the mid-year sales, as BigW appeared to get the really old 2015 blue packaged Legions for their sale this year, and got the 2014 generic Legions for their 2016 sale.)

Yep... but Gouki was talking about "standard" prices, and for Kmart that was $9 (before they decided to no longer restock that size class of Titans Return).
KMart clearance prices are like sale prices - they are short-lived, because Kmart isn't replenishing that line anymore, so they can no longer be a reliable source. It also prevents comparisons with all other retailers who haven't given up on that line, who are still at full price (outside of sales).

I will sometimes note on the price comparison listing if a Retailer stops selling a mainline product significantly early and is no longer being found at most/all stores by fans, but with so many Titanmasters pegwarming at Kmarts, they aren't likely to disappear from most stores before the final TR products are released (which is only in the next month or two with wave 5).

For anyone wanting to get a Shuffler/Repugnus (at the regular Target $10 price), the trick seems to be to get an older Titan Master, tell the teller that (you're a nerd who frequents a TF collecting forum and also that) you've heard the new wave isn't scanning properly, and ask the cashier to scan the older one for the price. It worked for me.

If you're looking to get a price match with KMart this may actually work out in your favour, since you could in theory check out the Target stock, get (or even just take a photo of) an older/same TM from KMart, bring in the receipt, and since the new ones aren't scanning and Target has to use old ones your chances of getting a price match are slightly better. I didn't try it with the Shuffler I picked up because with NW Tasmania's distribution I was just happy to finally have found one, and $10 isn't too bad IMO.

Funny you should mention that. When I bought Repugnus (about a week or 2 ago), I also bought an RiD Legion Drift. Drift scanned for $8, but Repugnus didn't scan. The cashier then assumed they were both the same price, so I ended up scoring a Repugnus for $8 :D

I didn't think we would see them here (Megatron and Bumblebee), so just bought them from Amazon for US$35.
Unfortunately, retailers will prioritise gimmick, role-play items over the regular line, so I guess it isn't surprising to see this here instead of say, wave 3 of the Premier Edition toys. :(

The one at sunshine also had them, but be warned the one in highpoint and the city DO NOT have them yet.

Decided to see how widespread the release is of tr wave 5/6, the pegs were empty at kmarts pointcook, altona gate, chadstone, werribee plaza and only the remains of the sighting at southland, spoke to a worker there and apparently they're expecting a shipment of toys this wednesday but considering he tried to tell me there was supposedly 5 misfires at chadstone I won't hold him to it, I only thank that he took the time to check for more stock which there was none, seems wave 2 legions have popped up at kmarts altona gate and southland judging from the hounds and dragonstorms.

Same for the myers in the city cbd (literally no deluxes) weribee plaza and southland/chadstone though the later still had some skyshadows for those who missed them.

Judging from the empty pegs in most stores, a restock is due, stick to your local stores, its gotta come :D

I don't think I have a confirmed sighting of wave 2 here as I couldn't find it on the First Sightings topic... so maybe we did miss that wave.

Kmart werribee plaza finally got the TR wave 5 in but they only had one of each from the assortment.

All that's left that's new after I picked it is a lone windblade, otherwise wolfwire and a badly repackaged twinferno are all that's left.

Don't bother with the myer there just yet, with 2 deluxes (forgot which but its the revision case I think) and how slow the place is (they still have tr blasters and a tr galvatron) it might be some time.

Oh and the toyworld there has TLK leaders for $94.99...again I urge people to let them shelfwarm into a sale, even those guys will drop prices if they sit there for long enough and considering that prime is a stripped down version of the AOE one its pretty poor

Myer CBD had 2 hotrods, a kup and a hardhead, iirc this is the slugslinger wave (minus him...asked staff, nothing there apart from those), these weren't there last sunday infact it was empty, big w cbd had the wave 4 revision wave (krok, quake and trigerhappy), nothing from target cbd, minotaur but one stop anime have those tlk japanese metal keychain gasha things for $3.50 for those interested (bring coins, minimum eftpos is $20 :C), good because they have generic autobot and decepticon logos in the range.

Highpoint stores had nothing either and no new deluxes have arrived at their myer, same for werribee plaza still (with their rubbish store layout and minimal space for tf's and only a quake and krok on display I doubt I'll see anything there ><) though they have those voice changer mask things at tru here.

Damnit, I arrived there around 4pm (because I thought highpoint would of had them in...) so I guess I lucked out, might need to try other myer stores but fuel prices are too high just to keep burning away like I've been doing :c

As for mp's in the city one stop anime sells a few, BUT BE WARNED typical aussie retail markups, mp38 primal redeco $215, same for inferno (or was it $220) but what annoys the crap out of me is artfire is $278!

They also have those gacha things (basically meant to be blind capsules but since they aren't stored in machines just have a look and grab what looks good :D ), other than them no idea who else sells anything in the city though there is a store that sells older stuff like say...generations ramjet MOSC or a loose FOC hasbro optimus prime and ultra magnus, all star comics on 53 queen st (upstairs, glass case, can't miss it) but no mp's.

Minotaur as you may know sell tf's but no mp's and with their prices I dread to think how much they would be

I popped into Target in the city tonight - nothing anybody is after. Some RID Warriors (Strongarm and Windblade), a heap of wave 1 TLK Deluxes and a heap of TLK Legion Grimlock, quite a few Titan Masters. They also had some TLK puzzles on the shelf.

Toyworld Docklands:This was VERY interesting, found some neat little things here, first up they have both the RID combiners AND the "robovision" movie optimus voyager and for the price why buy the new tlk one...I have the movie the best prime so I had zero need, prices as per picture *edit* gah even I can't see but iirc the combiners were $59.99, just bumblebee and menasor combiners

Now for some "grey" items, the first one has some history and the only reason why I'm posting it is because its possibly the only way to get your hands on them here for a reasonable price, you know those takara arms micron things where you basically build your own converting gun to robot minicon thing, well these here are oversized knock offs, at $2 a pop I decided to give them to my trio of target masters and one for krok because its basically his old action master partner (they will need modification however as they aren't 5mm out of the box, will also need plastic nippers to help build or nail cutters if feeling cheap)
