WA Transformers Sightings.

Sighted in the past few days: VW Bumblebee wave of Studio Series (VW Bee, Raider, and DOTM Ratchet) at Target Bull Creek, Big W Midland, and Target Cockburn. It seemed to be a bit random what each store's getting - some seemed to be only getting the Jazz and Lockdown wave, some seemed to be only the VW Bee wave, some seemed to be getting the Jazz wave then VW Bee wave.

The Big W stores that I've been all seemed to have the starter set of the new Transformers collectible card game available now.

I’ve just been to 3 Targets and 2 BigWs looking for Bee and Shadow Raider and nothing.:( Went to Bullcreek on Thursday and there was nothing

Just got Studio Shadow Raider, VW Bbee and Ratchet at BigW Joondalup for $29 each. Glad I didn’t find them at Target now considering they are $5 dearer. Still 2 Bbees left if anyone cares.

Toymate Cannington have a fairly decent Transformers section. Even though most of it is old stock. TR Skyshadows for $40. POTP terrorcons were expensive. And a heap of TLK deluxe Sqweeks, Steelbane, Drift etc $20 each

I'd go as far to say that this is THE LARGEST Transformers section I've ever seen anywhere in Australia... only in Asia during the height of movie popularity did I see larger.

$40 stickers were smattered in front of those leader Sky Shadows, Rodimus and OP, I didn't check whether it was just the Sky Shadow that's $40. $8 POTP Legends, $20 TLK Deluxes, and $25 TLK Voyagers are pretty darn good... only a small selection of each of course. I got a TLK Megs and "masterpiece" Squeaks :)

Also plenty of SS Jazz and Lockdown which I have only ever seen in Kmart once before. Full $39 price though.

I picked up the 2-pack, so only the single #18 left. Curiously didn't see any Shadow Raiders, which is weird as I thought he would be left behind more so than the Bee.

I meant did they drag them OUT of a warehouse as they had like maybe 1 or two of Nitro Zeuss at Phoenix last many months back (or a year ago, whenver it was) nothing since, now they havewhat - piles and piles of that toy never saw shelves? Like Cosmos and Seaspray for example.


Also, the last clearance stuff they had (octane and blitz) at Big W phoenix didnt sell - well maybe two of them.
They sat for several months then were gone overnight - presumably back to a distributor / warehouse or whatever they do with unsold old stock that nobody wanted?? I mean it didnt vanish into thin air and nobody in the WA thread picked them up.

Yeah agreed! I was lucky enough to get a SS BB from Kmart a while back but I have not seen another one since. To be fair there are plenty of BB Movie toys on the shelves I see in every store, just not the ones that us adult collectors are interested in! Maybe the fact is that the kiddie toys are where the money is??

Welcome aboard mate, I'm on TFW as well with this same username. The wave 5 SS figures I saw were only a small assortment, 2 Barricades one Rusty Bee and that Dread. So only 4 figures, it was over a week ago now so dunno what the hold up is restocking them. I'm pretty surprised to see this wave around the same time they've been turning up in the US honestly.

Thanks guys! I went to Karrinyup the other day and went to Maddington today. No Wave 5 Studio Series figures, either sold out in over a week or stocked up. Karrinyup still has plenty of Cyberverse and Bumblebee movie toys, I saw BigW workers re-stocking items across the store but none of them were Hasbro boxes for Transformers. Maddington has the usual Megatron and Brawl shelf warmers with one of them half-opened. Other than that there weren't any new toys.

Yeah, wherever I go there's usually no Transformers at all or very little. I'm trying to get my hands on the new Wave 5 SS and there's only been far and few - also quite literally far from where I live. I feel like there's more but they just didn't put them out whenever I went.

I dunno. They're smaller but denser. I'd rather have a smaller scale figure like Siege Magnus that feels solid than a larger hollow figure like CW Magnus.

I went to K Mart in Belmont Forum on the weekend that they'd managed to pull 2x SS ROTF Megatrons out from somewhere but aside from that didn't have anything that wasn't Cyberverse stuff or the wave 1 POTP Prime Masters.

Why does Toymate put all of its toys on the racks backwards? Struck me as odd.

I think the deluxes went reasonably quickly from TW Kalamunda. There were none at TW Midland as of last Friday. All they had was a Shockwave and a couple of the legends figures.

Some older stuff like RID Bludgeon, Twinferno and Thermidoor on opposite side of aisle.

Ironic to see Blackwing and Moonracer on shelves after I finally imported them about a month back. Still the ONLY time I've seen them anywhere (toymate cannington).

In the floating/end of aisle they also had last knight voyager megs for $20 or $25, Steelbane for $20, and Leader Last Knight Meg for $50.
Was tempted by the megatron voyager, might grab one next time.

I think that was still there actually, but I haven't seen Lockdown for a while now.

Also to note: annoying while the single pack BotBots are near the checkouts, the multipacks are on an aisle next to the proper TF aisle, next to some other collectible stuff (Roblox or something) not far above floor level on pegs.

I think that the Lockdowns and Jazzes came and went fairly quickly. I only ever saw them once and quickly snaffled them up.

Since the middle of last year I've only seen Blackouts at some of the more outlying Toyworlds (Kalamunda, got forbid Northam). It might be worth your while to purchase online if you're keen on it.

Did another pass by Kmart Carousel today... oh my goodness I finally managed to find the BotBots! Why the heck don't they keep this in the same place as the other TF toys!?!?

All this while I assumed they just didn't have it but just happened to think to check stock online, sure enough it said in-stock at Carousel, so with my eyes peeled I spotted the box of single packs on the next aisle over from the usual TF spot. Granted it was with other blind-bag types of toys, but those are also found elsewhere.... GRRR!

So i should not be complaining that ACT Toyworld has Botbots 5 pack for 15.99 (which is fine) and 8 pack 29.99 (which i was expecting 25ish and tag if i remeber was 28 something). I don't know how much luck you'll get tracking down any of the wave 1 figures anymore - I think they went fairly quickly. I can vouch for Toyworld Kalamunda not having any remaining at all as of this week, Toyworld Claremont only having a single Shockwave and a Cog as of about 5 weeks ago, and Toyworld Midland having a single Shockwave left as of 4 weeks ago.

Kmart Warwick Grove had the very strange thing of having only a single Siege Voyager Starscream with no other Siege toys I could spot anywhere. Couldn't even find the $49 sticker on the shelf.

Kmart Carousel finally had Siege Deluxes wave 2 (as per Sharky McShark doesn't look like they got wave 1 at all), but zero Voyager or Leader. They did have the Weaponizer figures though.
Also had Studio Series Wave 5 Deluxes, all 5 available on shelf.

There are 5x each of the wave 1 WFCS leaders, 5x each of the wave 2 voyagers, and 5x each of the wave 2 deluxes. That's the good news.

The standard pricing for deluxes seems to have gone up to $40aud though. I went in prepared to buy Prowl for $35 but at $40 it was too dear.

Went by the brand spanking spiffy new Subiaco Target yesterday... they had a few of the latest wave SS Deluxes, including 3x Scrapmetals.

Also had quite a few each of WFC wave 2 Voyagers... I wasn't going to get the Soundwave but they happen to also have micromaster Laserbeak & Ravage (1st time I saw these together) and the pressure was too much :)

The POTP Legends oddballs were still there for $12 - Battleslash, Beachcomber, Dinobot Slash, Cindersaur (not sure why they only have multiples those 4 and nothing else!). Last I checked cheapest Roadtrap on eBay was like $$40, but somehow today was available for $20 so I snapped up a Battleslash!

As the site was down, couldnt post earlier - but on Friday, Toyworld Midland has a few Siege shockwaves and 1 Ultramagnus for $69. I moved Magnus back behind a shockwave for anyone interested. They also have a heap of wave 2 deluxe @ $29 for anyone still chasing them.

Target Midland also had two Bumblebee Optimus Primes ( I dont think they are there anymore). Looks like a really great figure but I'm not collecting.

Big W had 1 chromia left, no other sign of $19 deluxe.

Had to go to Freo for work this morning. Target Fremantle is surprisingly still there and has almost no WFCS figures. There is a single Starscream and a few packs of the Micromasters. No Studio Series (or even POTP).

Toyworld Fremantle has 1x WFCS Shockwave, a couple of the wave 2 deluxes, SS Stinger and the wave 1 Dread, and 4x TLK Hounds for 40aud.

EDIT: Went to Belmont Forum for work last night. K Mart has no WFCS Soundwaves left but FIVE Starscreams still remaining.

Target Midland has a bit of stock.

WFCS: I saw Refraktors and a Red Alert but was in a bit of a rush do didn't check on the rest. Plenty of wave 2 dlx. 1x Ultra Magnus and Shockwave.

Studio Series: Long Haulx2, Rampage, KSI Boss and SS-05 Optimus Prime (the first one released last May). I bought one of the Long Hauls and the Rampage. The KSI Boss looks incredibly shiny, but I already own that mold twice and don't really fancy a third.

Midland Toyworld has the usual gamut of WFCS wave 2 stuf. The only out of the ordinary stuff is a POTP SG/Unicronus Hot Rodimus that wasn't there last time, and a bunch of the TLK final wave Cogman deluxes (not the Studio Series ones with the shiny paint).

A few days ago Belmont Kmart had three Starscreams and a Chromia, while BigW had only one Car Dropkick left - since I took the other one and Helicopter Drift. Today I went to Carousel, no Studio Series at Target but still plenty of Siege Starscreams, a few Soundwaves and a Shockwave. While Kmart had no Siege or Studio Series.

Went to Victoria Park East Kmart, Midland Gate Kmart, Target and Big W. Victoria Park East Kmart has one SS Bumblebee Movie Optimus, two SS Rampages, one SS Shatter, two SG Starscreams + Soundwaves and one SG Hound. Midland Gate Kmart had three SG Chromias, one SS Car Dropkick + Helicopter Dropkick + Shatter. Midland Gate Target had A LOT of SG stuff but no SS - three Ultra Magnuses, two Shockwaves + Starscreams + Soundwaves, three Brunts + Hounds + Red Alerts. Midland Gate Big W had two SS Car Dropkicks, one Helicopter Drift, one Hightower and one SG Prowl. I wanted badly to buy Shatter and Hightower, but their boxes weren't in pristine condition, could be that my standards are too high though.
