Almost cried when I got to TRU Northland today. Haven't seen the TF section so vibrant in what seems like years.

They had at their promotional prices:

no current wave leaders (i grabbed the last one as far as I could tell) however they did have a lonely leader Jetfire.

Only CW legends I could see at TRU today were four Windchargers. But Target was overstocked with all four. Plus a good number of each size class in the first wave of CW. Megatron really does look better in person.

I thought the Elite Heatwave was supposed to be electronic to explain why it is so much bigger than the regular transforming figures... but it isn't, so is just a double-sized robot that transforms in one step like the regular ones, but at least isn't twice the price. (still disappointed though when I got it and took it out of packaging)

Hello People, just come over from Canada after 2 years there. Started up my collecting agin while there, and can i say im impressed with the stock levels of the combiner wave here ! We hadnt recevied any Megs yet, and a full set of Superion was really hard to come by in Calgary. Visited a few TRU and Targets yesterday all packed with TF. Pretty Happy ! But im after Megs as well, unfortunatly only spotted Armarda @ Knox and Donny.

That would be awesome... not only for those of us here who are looking at excessive scalper pricing to import that lost final wave, but for all those fans overseas who want Junkheap (and for some, all three), our weaker dollar would earn us more AU$ when selling at a reasonable US$ price.
Unfortunately, those are wave 2 figures, and the Junkheap wave is 4... which makes it less likely than if these were wave 3 figures.

Unfortunately, those are wave 2 figures, and the Junkheap wave is 4... which makes it less likely than if these were wave 3 figures.

I just had a quick look on ebay, and there are only three TF4 Junkheaps that I could find - two sold at auction for US$60 & US$125, :eek: while the third is unsold with a BIN of US$150.

US$125 for a Power Battler gimmick toy... damn. Lucky I bought the blue Japanese version, because the green version is only worth a tenth of that.

But you probably already know there's lots of TFs on clearance at Big W stores, and each stores have different stuff in the drop zones. Not sure about the series already because I haven't been keeping in touch for awhile. So drop in to your local Big W if you have the chance.

Of the top of my head, I remember seeing some AOE Deluxes for $15 and an Autobot Night light for $20 at Big W Forest Hill yesterday.

Saw MP Star Sabre at Chadstone TRU today. Had a momentary desire to buy. They've still got MP Magnus but out of BB now. Also quite a few (too many) Insecticon packs in the display cabinets. Most wave 1 CW stuff and a bunch of AOE stuff on the regular shelves.

I feel sorry for any kid (or parent) buying one and opening it up to find a really tiny lump of barely-painted rubbery plastic inside for $4.
You get better value from a Lego minifigure... which can be cheaper, and is the same size as these Tiny Titans.

Yeah and they also had the Kre 0 blind bagged mini figs of the AOE Collection 1 for $4.00. Better value in my opinion. I was almost tempted until I had a look at the box with the variety of figures and they looked like something you could print off a 3D printer and then not bother detailing it.

Toyworld Docklands has some CW wave 2 deluxes. Air Raid, Off Road and Dead End I think. $25 each. Could not see any wave 2 voyagers or legends though. Finally picked up an Air Raid! :)

They also had those little Goldie TF figures for $1 each.

I picked up a set of the platinum edition insecticons from toys r us chadstone for $149.99 and to my great disappointment the stickers are terrible and don't stick properly and the plastic is not of a high quality,im very disappointed as i thought platinum edition was supposed to be very high quality.
