o_O RID starscream's only a commander or voyager, and arcee is in wave 2. if they're both deluxes that is super good news.

Yeah, Sadly Voyager Megatron never got a "first Release" release. He was $49.95, and the ratio for him to Voyager Prime was insane. There was 2 Megs left at Bankstown Toys r us, and at least 8 Optimus figures, no other Prime figures there yet though.

Just a side note too boys and girls...Get these figures!! The Quality Control is flawless. Every one of my first edition figures, including the entertainment pack have perfect paint jobs, tight joints, and if nothing else, the transformations of this range are awesome!! Voyager Megatron and Deluxe Starscream would have to be my faves so far...

I have heard that the RID versions are not genearlly as nice as the FE versions though. Deluxe Cliffjumper and Voyager prime being two examples.

Yeah, the prime has a big red 2 piece panel on his back where as the first edition transforms differently and the panels arent there. Cliffjumper doesn't look too bad, but we'll soon see. The paint and the tightness will hopefully be a constant in this line. Here's hoping...

Yeah, they were all TFP RiDs, not FEs. As Hursticon said, it's just standard procedure to put their various main international branches on their packaging (saves them money from having to print different versions for each of their Anglophone markets).

There's something you can do about that. Put the figures on lay-by and wait for the prices to go into the system. If the price you're paying is higher than advertised, cancel the lay-by and buy the figures than and there.

Mistakes still happen. Sometimes an offer is placed on shelf when it shouldn't be. Take advantage of it when it does.

Very Impressed indeed.

Soundwave is Awesome morg176 (Especially the little nod to Lazerbeak).

Poseability and Show accuracy are a major plus. I highly recommend them both.

Looking forward to more TF Prime in 2012! :)

Target Parramatta had no tickets on the shelf for the TF Prime voyagers, I don't know why you misread it as TRU. thus your entire argument about them honouring the ticket price for $50 is invalid and has been thrown out the window.

The only price ticket they had when I was in at TARGET was for DOTM voyagers was not PRIME

TRU are cheaper at $50 -- but honestly, both those Voyagers are pretty crummy toys and I wouldn't recommend getting either of them even at $50. Have a look at the review threads and see/decide for yourself dude. :)

Wait till Kmart gets them... they might go under $50. Maybe not straight away, but I'm sure they will eventually. Although I recommend getting First Edition Voyager Prime over the PRiDE one. As for Megatron, unless you're fussed about size/scaling, I'd recommend considering getting the Deluxe version over the Voyager; better value for money IMHO.

If that's Uncle Pete's standard price, they must be importing from an American wholesaler, (US wholesale would be somewhere around AU$15, as the retail price is about AU$20 over there)... so an independent store could easily sell Voyagers for $30 here.
So if it isn't a sale price, they should be supported, so that the bigger retailers start taking notice, and maybe start importing themselves from America (if parallel importing is allowed for toys).

They would've charged a small processing fee similar to that of what you pay at Big W, Target and Kmart. Myers a few years ago only charged a small fee (not $10) with retail doing so badly I'd say that's what caused the process fee hike. DJ's also has a $10 layby fee too.

Yeah, I prefer the colours on Launcher Prime over the individual one -- but at more than double the price... hmm... Also, the Bot Shots don't have free spinning axles that conserve momentum like the G2 Go-Bots or CR/RiD Spychangers... so I'm not entire sure if a launcher would be all that fun/useful.

What bugs me about the 3 packs is that they're all the same faction. I wish they'd have 2 of one faction, and 1 of the other. For those who haven't seen the boxes, they have two Transformers in one section, then one Transformer in another. Why not make that one Transformer an enemy of the other two? That way it makes the play pattern more fun... it'd be like a versus set (albeit with uneven odds :p).

Happy that it was only $10, with a little effort this could have been an awesome toy, but alas let down again.

The knee joints are ridiculously week, so grim can barely stand and forget about any poses. The parasauralophus, although looks cool, is poorly designed in that it doesnt fully articulate to its arm position.

They look better in animal mode due to the flaws in robot/gestalt mode

Long drive from Bankstown, but Castle Hill had a heap a few weeks ago, up high on shelves half hidden. Penrith had about 10, 3 on the lowest shelf and another 7 on the top storage shelf.

Reminds me I have to take pics of my MP Roddy. He broke by sitting left alone on a shelf with a door somehow and I can't figure out the best way to fix him...

Hello all, I'm back on the scene so I'm sharing some of my finds.
I'm out of the loop a bit so correct me if I have any names or class sizes wrong :p

Went to BigW Macarthur Square today and found they have stocked some PCC 5-packs.
I got what I wanted and left the following behind-
1x Stakeout with Protectobots
1x Crankcase with Destrons
6x Mudslinger with Destructicons
These are scanning at the $10 price point, I popped Stakeout and Crankcase on the top shelf behind some Mudslingers if anyone's looking for them ;)

All the following were at the regular prices, will be like that till the sale starts.
Under the TF Prime label we have-
About a gazillion deluxe Bumblebees
5 or 6 deluxe Cliffjumpers
maybe 4 deluxe Arcees
6 or so deluxe Wheeljacks
5 deluxe Soundwaves
6 Voyager Optimus Primes
6 Voyager Megatrons

Under DoTM MechTech we have-
1x Leader Ironhide
4 or so Leader Bumblebees
2x Jetwing Optimus Primes

And last and probably least a pallet load of Battle Ops Bumblebee.

Myer Parra was out of Dreadwings when I got there after work - they had one Ironhide left which I bought. Myer Blacktown had 1 Dreadwing and 1 Ironhide -- I bought Dreadwing and left Ironhide there. Kmart Parra has a few Cyberverse Wheeljacks and Knock Outs.

Well this saves me the trip. No need to check myers then. Hope they restock soon.

Just got back from exploring some more BigWs, my findings are thus-
Liverpool- Some TFPrime deluxe Bumblebees, voyager Megatrons and Optimus Primes, Mechtech Bumblebees and Primes, probably some botshots but I wasnt paying them much attention.
Fairfield- About the same as Liverpool but with some Mechtech Ironhides.
Bonnyrigg- Same again but there were some PCC 5 packs as well on the bottom shelf, 2 Crankcases, 2 Double Clutches and a Stakeout
Wetherill Park- More of the same, the PCC selection was different though with 7 Steamhammers and 4 Grimstones.

Anyone sighted the Over-Run, Skyburst or Bombshock 5 packs?

I'll probably be there again over the weekend at some point. I'll make a more comprehensive list. I don't think there were any more wreckgars or any classics bb's though. They may put out more stock hopefully.

If all else fails you could look at my sales thread:o, though I can't afford to sell for less than $20. I could drop it off to you at the next parra fair if yu aren't in a hurry and want to save on postage.

I do not believe that Mirage was ever reissued... You may have possibly bought yourself a KO, but I'll let others who are more G1 knowledgeable confirm or reject my sketchy memory.

Sorry I meant Jazz, just got Mirage in mail and had it in my brain. Jazz reissue was 45 and loose Dinobots were 160 for all 3 in top condition. But it was a saleday

He wasn't. Apparently both Mirage and Wheeljack cannot be reissued as the molds were damaged/lost/destroyed. The last time they were available was during the 1991 'Classics' line we got.

Wheeljack yes (reissued in 1990), Mirage no. Mirage has never been reissued anywhere anyhow. Mirage was released again in 1986 as a mail-away toy that you could purchase with robot points -- but those would have been left-over stock from 1984 or another production run of that toy, rather than an actual reissue (i.e. licensed reproduction of a toy).

It's been a hit a miss of late. There's a bit of G1 left but some ebay priced, mostly more modern TF stuff from Armada to DOTM loose and sealed. Most of the people attending here are there more for the social meets after a few hours of looking around the fair. If you collect more than just TFs you might find something you like or am looking for.

You need all 3 to complete deathzaras

Not really. One comes with the bird-breast (which would "complete" Deathsaurus), while the other one comes with the lion-breast... but since Deathsarus comes with a lion-breast anyway, the second one is redundant.

They should have left Deathsaurus without either, so that you did need all three to complete him... but then, maybe it looked wrong without having at least one come with it.
