Macquarie Centre Big W have the radio control Lockdown toy, which looks to be nothing more than a remote control Lamborghini Aventador car. Doesn't look like the toy can transform at all, but I couldn't see the "Toy does not convert" disclaimer on the box.

It's just a remote control car. Of note is that it is faster than the converting ones, according to the side of the box. I am waiting for that sucka to go on clearance. it looks nice but I'm pretty sure it's a $30 toy in a licenced box.

I really hope to see the remote control drift helicopter at some point. I will most likely buy that one.

The RC toys were supposed to appear in other stores a month after BigW's exclusive period, but I don't think they did. And they aren't moving at my nearest BigW, so maybe we won't see any of the later ones (Drift & Barricade).

The small constructbot sets should be around $8 and $15 for the triple changer sets. The Driller Tank is $20. At least your store got the stock somewhere around the start of the sale (thur) :rolleyes::p. I have been to 4 stores in Brisbane since Thursday and 2 have said they didn't get the shipment and the other two claim they have it but haven't put it out because they can't get to it :rolleyes::confused:
I'm probably just bitter because i have wasted so much time trying to get the driller tank but you would think that catalog stock would take preference and be put out in time as advertised??

Went to Myer Castle Towers and saw all the Platinum editions there. It's really sad to see how overpriced they are, though I think the best value was the autobot set at only $50 each for a transformer, compared to the other ones which had worse value (The Optimus Prime trailer with Sideswipe is the most overpriced and like with the other sets, it is cheaper to buy online INCLUDING Shipping and handling, which I think is evidence of a rip-off)

I'm hoping Myer has a toy sale later this year with these toys being 50% off because then they are worth it. Here, they are just total rip-offs that can be bought online for a cheaper price (and like I said, including S&H) :mad:

Found a Deluxe Kickback from Kmart at Campelltown (Still amazed they still have these though still trying to find topspin as he is the only one I'm missing from Ruination :( ), also found AOE Legends Optimus Prime from Big W at Campelltown, which funny enough is the first time I saw a AOE legends toy that wasn't Grimlock (There was a grimlock there as well).
Other than wasn't much, Prime Voyagers are apparently back at Toys R Us for $50, though I don't understand that as they are $25 at Toymate/Uncle Pete's (Compared to the $20 that was at Big W). And even then it's just Optimus Prime, Bulkhead and Starscream. Haven't seen Megatron though.

It's stuff like this which is why Internet shopping is big. Most of the Thrilling 30 transformers never got a major release in Australia (Except for Metroplex while you'd be lucky to find Jetfire) and most of the transformers you can find are either the non-transforming ones, or the ones meant for the younger ones.

I don't know, I think it might be those two stores as well. Macquarie and Chatswood Targets and Kmart and Big W have quite a lot of stock at the moment and it's not all wave 1 either.

There wasn't much prime deluxes at Toymate Top Ryde, though Kup and Rumble were thankfully there (plus Soundwave and Bumblebee). Also there was 1 Vechicon which I grabbed :) plus the predacon series. Big W was pretty lacklustre featuring no deluxes or anything whatsoever. Really sad that most toy stores in Sydney are like that :(

They sell for US$50 in America (http://www.target.com/p/transformers-mv4-one-step-magic-collection-set-exclusive/-/A-15223631#prodSlot=medium_1_3&term=transformers) (also a Target exclusive because of the Silver Knight character)... which would make it difficult to import it for much less than our AU$79 price.

But comparing it to the regular retail price of the One-Steps here, you'd normally be paying AU$132 for six One-Steps at Target, making this almost half price in comparison.
(I only want the Silver Knight Optimus, so am not going to buy this unless someone else wants the other five, for at least $60).

it's not the best range though, character wise yes but varied transformation not as much. it is good value next to the individual prices but I think they are very over priced to start with, especially the simpler designs like the drift car.

Toymate Baulkham hills has a few Prime Deluxes but the only Beast hunters ones were Soundwave (incidentally there were a few Prime soundwaves aswell). All of wave 1 of Beast Hunters is available to TRU at Parramatta (Grabbed myself a Bumblebee :D )

Little bit disapointed on how TRU (and Toymate) only have the first 2 waves of the Prime Voyagers. Oh well might as well buy Ultra Magnus off the internet.

Yeah, TRU Parramatta has MPs in a locked glass cabinet in the games section, well away from the action figures. Also bear in mind that some TRUs choose to not display all of their MP stock, but will produce them upon request. So if you can't find any on the shelves or in the cabinet, I would recommend asking at the service counter. I would also strongly recommend calling every TRU in the Sydney Metropolitan area (or as far as you're willing to travel to) to see if any have Wheeljack in stock and ask them to hold the toy for you.

Saw 1 generations Jetfire at TRU Castle Hill (I have no idea where the Masterpieces are, though I did see a Prowl at the front) which was the first Jetfire I've seen since I grabbed the one at Tuggerah.

And Big W has 10 Legend class Grimlocks. And that was it there were no Optimuses, Bumblebees or Stingers, just a bunch of Grimlocks :(

Liverpool Toys r Us was announced mid last year it would be closing in the "shake up" and really it is not much of a surprise, it isn't one of the better stores

They had a masterpiece Wheeljack, Black Lambor and Streak but they were really overpriced (Wheeljack was the cheapest at $150 while the others were close to $200). There was also a Masterpiece Soundblaster there as well.

It would've made a bit of sense if the masterpiece toys were a bit older, but the fact that I can get a (Legit) Bluestreak for less than half the price they were offering me, it seems as if that place is only for people who don't want to order stuff online or they want it instanly.

The one at Market City sometimes have a big clearance sale where the MP Datsuns go down to $120.

TRU - i think they have emptied an AOE truck in there, i was excited to see they have over doubled their TF section but then saw it was 95% AOE it passed. Only other note is about 12 Jetfires and 1 lonely MP Grim
